Daryl Hannah has a smooth, flawless, gorgeous face that can stop traffic -- and today she got arrested for just that.
The 48-year-old "Clan of the Cave Bear" star, a NASA scientist and their ragtag group of protesters were arrested in West Virginia after blocking off a road leading to a coal processing plant in Raleigh County. Hannah's crew was protesting mountaintop removal mining -- a type of mining criticized for allegedly harming the environment.
30 were arrested in total and booked on misdemeanor charges of obstruction and impeding traffic.

Out of all the cool movies Daryl Hannah has been in, her most memorable performance was probably not in "A Walk to Remember" with Mandy Moore. But apparently our camera guy thinks it was.

Daryl Hannah is at it again. The actress/activist was spotted running through the streets of Hollywood yesterday, waving a homemade white flag made of torn white sheets and a bamboo pole. Why? 
There's no apparent reason for Daryl's banner performance, except, perhaps, that it was Tuesday.
Authorities were not notified. A call to Daryl's rep was not returned.

Daryl Hannah shot to fame back in 1984 playing a mermaid in the hit comedy "Splash." Well, it seems like 20+ years later you still can't pull her from the water. 
Hannah, who turns 46 in December, was spotted by photogs surfing in Malibu yesterday. The statuesque blonde is still in fantastic shape.
Here's to hoping we can all still hit the waves at her age!
