David Caruso probably feels like a million bucks right now -- 'cause we've learned his baby mama just dropped her million dollar lawsuit against the actor.
Liza Marquez, the mother of David's two children, filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court last week requesting the dismissal of her mega-sized lawsuit against the "CSI: Miami" star.
The doc states Liza "is not recovering anything of value" from the lawsuit.
As TMZ first reported, Marquez claimed Caruso promised to give her $1 million plus attorneys fees when the couple split -- after the birth of their second child.
When he allegedly didn't pay up, she sued for fraud, breach of settlement, and emotional distress.
It's unclear why Marquez dropped the suit.

The David Caruso break up has just gotten uglier.
The nanny who took care of the Caruso kids is suing his ex -- Liza Marquez -- claiming she got fired because she wouldn't turn her back on David.
The nanny worked for the couple until they separated two years ago. She then went to work for Marquez, who suddenly demanded that the nanny sign a confidentiality agreement. The nanny refused, claiming the real motivation was to keep secrets from David. So Marquez gave the nanny the ax.
Nanny Maria Vianey Guadron says in legal papers she just filed -- Marquez had no right to pressure a potential witness in a custody/palimony case to sign documents that would prohibit her from testifying.
God knows what Marquez must have been saying about David behind closed doors ....

David Caruso is being sued by a woman who claims the "CSI Miami" star jilted her.
Liza Marquez claims she met David on the "CSI" set in 2004 and began dating soon thereafter. She says in her lawsuit filed in L.A. County Superior Court that Caruso told her he loved her and would never leave her. She says he gave her a ring, with promises of more to come.
They began living together and he allegedly promised he would provide for her in return for her services as a homemaker and confidante. They had two kids together, and in October, 2007, upon the birth of the second child, David broke up with her.
Liza says Caruso agreed to pay her a cool $1 mil plus attorneys fees, but has reneged.
Liza says he threatened to "bury her" if she pursued the matter. She's suing him for fraud, breach of their settlement agreement, and emotional distress.
