Dennis Hopper went out yesterday for the first time since being diagnosed with prostate cancer -- and revealed he's undergoing "an experimental thing at USC" for treatment. 
The 73-year-old "Easy Rider" star added that it's "no big deal" and said he "feels great."

Fresh out of the hospital from some extreme flu-like symptoms and a bout of dehydration -- Dennis Hopper wasn't taking chances in New York last night ... and wouldn't let go of that bottle of Fiji water.

Dennis Hopper was rushed to the hospital today by ambulance in New York City.
His rep said he's being examined for flu-like symptoms.
No word on his condition.
Dennis Hopper's teenage son, Henry Lee Hopper, had to bail out of Wes Craven's new slasher flick after being stricken by a bad case of mono. We'll spare you the gory details.
The 17-year-old was set to make his film debut, but instead will be sipping chicken soup on a couch while his role will go to Max Thieriot - the kid from "Jumper." That sucks!
Despite a past marred with booze, drugs and who knows what else, Dennis Hopper somehow made it to 71 years old, looking great.
Yeah, this is the same guy who was found wandering naked in the Mexican jungle after a cocaine binge in the 80s. His "Easy Rider" co-star Jack Nicholson, one year his junior, should be ashamed.

Mr. Chow gave us a heaping helping of big name celebs last night! Bring it!
Aussie hothead Russel Crowe, hockey fanatic Tim Robbins, and "Speed" demon Dennis Hopper were mobbed for autographs. "The Doors" alums Oliver Stone, Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan reunited, and Guinness fan Colin Farrell and a beardless Benicio Del Toro crammed inside as well.
Even those pesky Hiltons were there! It's a big ol' bowl o' Chow catcher! Hungry again?

Ryan Seacrest took his mother to Mr. Chow for dinner on Saturday night. The "Idol" host was all smiles as he greeted waiting paparazzi outside, just missing letter-turner Vanna White and birthday girl Sharon Stone.
From there it was off to Hollywood hotspot Koi, where we spotted "Idol" judge Randy Jackson and "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere having dinner with friends.
We also stopped by Miss Hilton's pad in the Hollywood hills, running into the heiress herself along with a very thirsty Efren and Carlos Rameriz.
Also out on the town over the weekend: Cheryl Burke, Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis, Dennis Hopper, "Sin City" star Devon Aoki and Stacy Keibler, who was doing a bit of shopping at Kitson.
