Designer Lloyd Klein Accused of Naked Assault

Lloyd KleinFashion guru Lloyd Klein has dressed Paula Abdul, Kate Beckinsale, and Gwen Stefani -- but a new lawsuit claims Klein wore only his birthday suit when he allegedly beat down a guy.

In the lawsuit, a friend of Klein's (formerly, we're guessing) named David Pearce says he was attacked when he went to pickup his keys from Klein's Los Angeles home.

Pearce claims Klein was "completely naked and appeared intoxicated" and refused to return the keys. The suit alleges that a fight broke out and Klein threw a vase at Pearce, and shoved Pearce down a staircase. Klein allegedly went all "Clue" too -- hitting Pearce with an iron candlestick, according to the papers.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in L.A. Superior Court, says Pearce suffered hand fractures, and required surgery. He's seeking damages for assault, battery, and emotional distress.

As for Klein's side of the story -- the president of his company released the following statement to TMZ:

Mr. Klein woke up to a crazed Dave Pearce who had broken into Klein's garage taken a ladder out and then climbed onto Mr. Klein's second floor balcony and intruded into Mr. Klein's bedroom. He kept screaming at Mr. Klein in a drunken slur to give him back his keys. Mr. Klein could not convince Pearce that he did not have his keys. After 10 minutes of trying to get Pearce out of his home, Mr. Klein threatened to call the police and demanded that he leave. Pearce finally complied.

Bobby and Anna -- Together Again!

It was deja vu all over again for fluffy Bobby Trendy, as he relived his wacky Anna Nicole days on the set of the Anna biopic starring Willa Ford as the late medicated Playmate. Although Ford does bear a striking resemblance to the 2002 Anna at the height of "The Anna Nicole Show," Bobby now looks more like, well, the supah-glam version of Bobby.
Anna Nicole and bobby Trendy
In this side by side, Trendy is seen as he was five years ago, with the extent of his flamboyance going no further than blonde highlights and serious lip gloss. In the biopic, Miss Trendy will be seeing wearing one of her now signature outfits, not unlike those glittery pantsuits worn by Liza Minnelli -- or Liberace at the height of his Vegas phase. Sparkle, hon!

Who's more convincing -- Willa as Anna, or Bobby as Bobby? Vote!

The Cosa Nostra label owner was portrayed as a punkish family man on Season 3, with babymama Melanie and their son, who sported mommy 'n me mohawks. Top Disney Theme Park Designer to Leave

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS -- One of Walt Disney's top theme park designers is stepping down after decades of service, signaling the end of an era for the Magic Kingdom.

Marty Sklar is one of the last remaining employees who once worked closely with the company's co-founder, Walt Disney.

The 72-year-old said he would leave his executive job at Walt Disney Imagineering to serve as its "ambassador," according to a memo to colleagues Thursday.

He helped to design such park attractions as "The Enchanted Tiki Room," "It's a Small World" and "Space Mountain."

"He understands the Disney way because he learned it at Walt's knee," said Jim Cora, a former chairman of Disneyland International. "He is the keeper of the keys, the conscience, the Jiminy Cricket for the organization."

Sklar said he had long planned to step down after reaching two milestones the 50th anniversary of Disneyland and his own half-century at the company. Last year he reached the first mark, and this June he will hit the other.

The move follows Disney's recent announcement that after its planned acquisition of Pixar Animation Studios this summer, Pixar's creative chief, John Lasseter, will help design rides for Disney's theme parks. Lasseter also will become chief creative officer of both animation studios.

The timing of Sklar's decision was unrelated to Lasseter's pending arrival, Disney officials said.

Low-key and unimposing, Sklar is revered by a generation of designers he trained, dubbed "Imagineers," for his mentoring and his links to the company's heritage. Sklar condensed Walt Disney's ideas into a widely circulated creed called "Mickey's Ten Commandments."
