DMX took time out of his busy going to jail schedule to go to Rehab -- as in the giant bikini and booze-riddled pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Believe it or not, DMX hasn't been in jail since May -- when he was released after serving 90 days for pleading guilty to cruelty to animals, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of marijuana.
DMX and Earl Simmons want you to know he did not assault an Arizona corrections officer with a loaded food tray -- as he is being accused of doing. 
X (sorry, we mean Earl Simmons) released a statement yesterday saying in part, "Many of you know me as DMX but right now I am speaking to you as Earl Simmons ... For the record, I want to state 'I Did Not' physically touch or hit an officer. This is just another attempt to destroy my credibility."
Sorry Earl, you did a pretty good job of destroying it on your own.
BTW -- if you haven't been following all of X's escapades in Tent City jail -- where Charles Barkley is also set to serve time -- X is accused of throwing a food tray at an officer after he was accused of stealing an extra meal.

If six arrests in a year aren't a big enough problem, DMX admitted today that the high-profile lawyer representing him will be none other than ... a court-appointed public defender.
Earl "DMX" Simmons appeared in front a Maricopa County, Ariz. judge today, facing charges of stealing and identity theft. Cops busted DMX for allegedly using a false name and Social Security number at a doctor's office in April to get out of a $7,500 bill.
Bond was set at $50,000. He's due back in court on July 24.

Not even DMX wants to be DMX anymore.
Earl "DMX" Simmons was pinched today for allegedly giving a false name and Social Security number to Scottsdale's Mayo Clinic in April. Simmons supposedly used the name "Troy Jones" to weasel out of paying for $7,500 in medical expenses.
The rapper was arrested outside of a Phoenix Ariz. mall on a felony charge of taking the identity of another and booked in the Maricopa County Jail, according to My Fox Phoenix.
DMX was also arrested on July 2, June 27, June 23, May 9 and May 7 of this year.

DMX has elevated his level of crazy yet again. The rapper is now being accused of trying to dodge a hospital bill -- by using a fake name.
In April, Mayo Clinic doctors in Arizona thought they were treating a man named Troy Jones for pneumonia. The only problem is -- the man's real name was Earl Simmons, aka DMX, who was allegedly using a fake name to get out of paying his hospital bill. Clearly all his money was tied up in his pit bull and marijuana purchases!
According to court documents obtained Friday by The Arizona Republic, DMX checked into the hospital's emergency room, complaining of shortness of breath and chest pains. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and released eight hours later.
DMX could be charged with "theft of services" and providing the hospital with "false information including name and address for billing purposes."
His lawyer called the investigation "petty" and suggested that Sheriff Joe Arpaio had no sympathy for the sick. So far, DMX has not been charged.
