YOU GOTTA HEAR THIS: TMZ has obtained the gnarly 911 call made after Nick Palatas -- who plays Shaggy in a new "Scooby Doo" movie -- sliced his thumb open with a table saw.
Palatas -- who had been working with the saw at his house in Northridge, CA back in September -- made the frantic call himself ... telling the dispatcher he "cut it all the way down to the bone ... I must have cut a half-inch off my finger ... I'm bleeding quite badly."
When the dispatcher asks Palatas if he's breathing normally, the actor replies: "I'm trying to keep it as normal as possible, sir, it hurts like f**k!!" Palatas was eventually taken to the hospital and sewn up.
We give this call two mangled thumbs up.

Thirteen months after flipping his truck and seriously messing up his hand, Shia LaBeouf finally showed off his mostly splint and tape-free paw in L.A. today.
Fortunately for the paps, the 23-year-old won't be flipping the bird -- with his left hand anyway -- as there appears to still be a bandage on his middle finger.

Bear Grylls nearly sliced off his finger while filming a Vietnamese jungle episode of "Man vs Wild" -- and of course, dude took a picture of the gruesome, poorly stitched-up digit to share with the world.
Grylls, who probably has a bloody keyboard to clean up now, explained the nasty gash on his blog, saying, "I severed my finger down to the bone on a razor sharp strand of half cut bamboo. I got it sewn up but it was a bit of a quick job to see me through, hence it looks a bit ugly and ragged."

The professional party boy was spotted leaving Koi last night -- wearing an ARM sling -- as a result of a broken finger suffered while manhandling his sidekick, Frankie Delgado.

Enchanting British pop sensation Lily Allen has been vacationing in Los Angeles and was caught yesterday in Hollywood -- on her best behavior.
After a day of pampering at a salon, Allen decided that her newly streaked hairdo needed covering up, and popped into a wig shop on the Walk of Fame. Britney would be so proud!
She purchased a charming pink wig and was on her way ... right after sending this adorable message to all her fans. No wonder she just cancelled her U.S. tour!

UPDATE: The display name has suddenly been changed to Lucy Hess. WTF?
Alleged singer Antonella Barba takes it to her MySpace page to clear up any confusion there might be -- surrounding alleged racy photos circulating the Internet. Barba's display name is "I just look like her" and the photo caption reads, "Keep talking, you're making me famous." It ain't the talk, hon.
According to Barba, she just really looks a lot like this girl. And if you're not buying it, well, she sent another message in one of her uploaded pics, thanking "Idol" viewers.
Although you have to be added as a friend to see her page, that doesn't mean that all of her "friends" are fans. Some show some love, but nearly half of "Antonella's" MySpace is smeared with comments left by other MySpacers telling Miss Barba just how talentless they think she is ... and that she should be kicked off the show.
