Reporters and cameramen crammed themselves into a US Airways flight for Sully's "return to the sky" -- but they were all duped, because it wasn't his first flight back!

Though passengers cheered like it was Sully's big comeback when he hit the loudspeaker, truth is, he'd already piloted another plane hours earlier -- and one more back in September.
However, this was his first flight with the same route as the Hudson River incident -- only this time, the plane MADE IT to North Carolina ... and without any goose fatalities.
SUCCESS!!!! SUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Sully Sullenberger -- the grand master of flying planes with and without engines -- made his triumphant return completely above the Hudson this morning in NYC.

According to the New York Daily News, his flight took off at 7:55 a.m. from Charlotte, N.C. to New York City.
Everyone arrived safe and sound, as always.
Who says flying is for the birds?

Shocking new CCTV video just released shows the moment US Airways Flight 1549 hit the Hudson, the plane still skidding to a stop in the river.

Almost immediately, passengers can be seen jumping from the aircraft into the water and onto the plane's wings -- the first rescue boat showed up three minutes later.
Thanks to the "heroic" maneuvering of Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, all 155 people aboard survived the crash.
