Carrie Prejean's sex tape cost her more than a million bucks during her settlement discussions with Miss California USA, but we've learned Vivid Entertainment is officially stepping up with an offer to line her pockets with even more money.
TMZ has obtained a copy of a letter Vivid honcho Steven Hirsch sent to Prejean's lawyer, Charles Limandri. Hirsch is asking to acquire the rights to distribute "erotic footage that Carrie Prejean, former Miss California, produced for her boyfriend following their four (4) day rendezvous in February 2007." It's the same video (eight in all, along with 30 photos) that TMZ obtained but has not posted because it's just too racy.
In the letter, Hirsch tries tempting Carrie with this: "We would like to present Carrie with several options where she could certainly earn millions of dollars."
Hirsch boasts his stable of stars, including Kim Kardashian, Kelli McCarty (former Miss USA) and Shauna Sand -- the kinds of women any gal would be proud to call her peers.
TMZ spoke with attorney Limandri last night, and it looks like Carrie's not biting. Limandri says Carrie's mom/rep says, "No, at any price."
Carrie claims she was underage when the videos were shot, but her ex-boyfriend to whom she sent the videos begs to differ.
But Carrie may have another plan to score some loot. We're told she may sue the Miss Cali pageant, along with its officials, because she believes they leaked the settlement to TMZ.

It's the moment of truth in the whole Joe Francis vs. Jayde Nicole and Brody Jenner fiasco -- we're told cops now have security camera footage showing what really went down inside a Hollywood club last week.
Law enforcement sources tell us the L.A. County Sheriff's Department is currently reviewing the footage from Guys and Dolls, the place where the Battle Royale occurred early Friday morning.
Here are both sides of the story: Jayde says Joe pulled her hair, threw her down, punched her in the face and then kicked her. Joe admits that he pulled Jayde's hair -- after she threw a drink on him -- but that he never laid a finger on her otherwise.
Both claim the security footage backs up their story.

Britney let the world look up her skirt again, but his time, she kept her privates private. At her 25th birthday party, Britney shook her barely covered butt in front of a glass window, showing everyone that she does own panties afterall.
The day after Eddie Murphy's rep denied that his client made comments on a Dutch show questioning the paternity of Scary Spice's unborn child, TMZ obtained the footage showing Eddie doing just that. Maybe the rep figured our phones couldn't call internationally.
"Dodgeball" star Rip Torn's arrest in North Salem, New York wasn't his first run-in with police. In January 2004, Torn was arrested in New York City after crashing into a taxi. Check out his videotaped rant.
