Beyonce Knowles has a fierce court battle brewing with Abercrombie & Fitch -- because the clothing company claims something seriously stinks about her soon-to-be released fragrance line.
A&F just filed a federal lawsuit against Beyonce, claiming her upcoming line of products called "Sasha Fierce" -- which includes a fragrance -- is a knock-off of their own line of smelly good liquid which is simply named "Fierce."
In the suit, which was filed in Ohio, Fitch claims they sent Beyonce a cease and desist letter in 2008 when she started applying for "Sasha Fierce" trademarks.
The suit says Bey's peeps rejected the demand by saying the general public would have no problem telling the difference between the two companies' products.
A&F is suing to stop Bey from putting out the perfume under the "S.F." name -- or doing anything that would "confuse, mislead, or deceive others" into believing her line of products has anything to do with theirs.
UPDATE: 6:14 PM PT Beyonce's rep, Alan Nierob, just issued the following statement: "There is no fragrance line directly or indirectly associated with Beyonce that has the name 'Sasha Fierce' or anything using the word 'Fierce.'"
Coty also issued this statement: "Coty is excited about its newly announced partnership with Beyonce Knowles. Details related to the fragrance, including the official name, will be revealed prior to the launch in early 2010. We can confirm at this time, however, that the terms Fierce and Sasha Fierce are not being used as names of a Beyonce fragrance."

Britney's back, and the newest bachelorette is popping up (and out) everywhere. It started with her drive-by appearance on Letterman on the night before filing divorce papers. The very next night, she was caught at a New York City Gap store shopping for cotton thong panties and clothes for an evening of ice skating at Rockefeller Center with an old friend ...
That old friend was her former manager, Larry Rudolph, the man who transformed Britney from former Mouseketeer into America's reigning Pop Princess. His relationship with Brit was solid until K-Fed came along. Kevin reportedly had a problem with Larry, and Brit chose Fed over Rudolph. Just one night after she left K-Fed, she reunited with Rudolph; it appears they were in talks before Brit's split.
Now, old television commercials for Britney's fragrances have begun popping up in time for the holidays, and rumors of musical collaborations with the likes of Pharrell, and a surprise appearance at last night's AMAs, are signs that the hard-working Britney Spears is definitely back. One thing she's retained from her K-Fed days; that awful gum-chewing. At least she tucked her gum to one side of her mouth while she presented the AMA to Mary J. Blige. Classy.
Meanwhile, there are rumors of a surprise superstar appearance at Los Angeles radio station 102.7 KIIS FM's annual concert, Jingle Ball. Our guess: It's gonna be Brit.

J.Lo has three, so does Britney. Beyonce's got one and Sarah Jessica Parker's is "lovely." These days it seems that everyone and their mother is putting out a fragrance. 
Joining the ranks of these gorgeous ladies in the perfume game is a group, which although known for their makeup, don't usually have people clamoring for their beauty regimens.
Macho rock-n-roll bad boys KISS are showing their softer side and creating a line of men's and women's scents, shower gels and body lotions. In true Gene Simmons fashion, all the products will contain pheromones, which are believed to increase your libido and sexual attractiveness. The entire line will retail from $20 - $50 and will be available in October.
Adding to the randomness, on June 27th the band will open the KISS Coffeehouse in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Those wanting to catch a buzz will be able to order a KISS Frozen Rockuccino or a French KISS Vanilla off the menu. The cafe will also feature 20-foot-tall smoking KISS boots and rare KISS memorabilia.
With the band's latest endeavors complete, fans can now see, hear, smell and taste KISS. However to be able to touch them you'll still have to talk to their roadies.
