Many people go out of their way to join the Mile High Club -- but a woman who used to work for Oprah Winfrey claims allegations that she got it on in the air got her fired from her job.
According to a lawsuit filed yesterday, Corrine Gehrls was a flight attendant on Oprah's private jet -- at least until July. She claims two other flight attendants -- one of whom is the daughter of Gayle King -- conspired to lie to Oprah about Gehrls having "inappropriate intimate behavior" aboard a flight.
Gehrls claims she was fired, along with the guy involved in the alleged act -- who happened to be the Chief Pilot at the time.
Gehrls is suing Harpo, Oprah's company, along with the two flight attendants she claims lied about her. She's asking for damages in excess of $75,000.

Several staffers from Harpo tell TMZ that Oprah Winfrey has taken the James Frey scandal "hard." One says she has been "very stressed out and upset about it."
The staffers say Oprah was relieved when the show was over and the staff felt she did a great job. But today at Harpo, mum is the word. It is not the subject of office chit chat.
There has been criticism that Oprah pulled a "Dan Rather" by not immediately challenging Frey when the scandal first broke. Instead, she publically defended him. So, was yesterday's TV confrontation about Frey or Oprah herself? TMZ checked the tape, and found that Oprah used the word "I" 119 times during the show.
And finally, this. Oprah says before the scandal broke, her dentist questioned Frey's claim that he had undergone two root canals without the comfort of novocaine. She says her dentist said "that could not have happened." So why after the scandal first broke didn't Oprah connect the dots, insteading of defending Frey on 'Larry King Live'? Just asking.
