The Ace of Hearts dog rescue foundation was so pumped that we were able to find John Mayer's mug shot -- and score them a $12,500 donation in the process -- they named a few canines after Harvey Levin, John and TMZ!
Here's a little background info on the well-named canines:
-- Levin is a 3-year-old Shar Pei/Mastiff mix
-- Mayer is a 2-3 month-old Beagle/Hound mix puppy
-- TMZ is a 1-year old Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix
The adorable dogs were rescued last weekend from a high kill shelter in Northern California -- now all three need some good people to reach out and give them a home.

Thomas Mesereau -- the formidable criminal defense lawyer who scored a huge victory for Michael Jackson in the 2005 child molestation trial -- says he never saw evidence that Jackson was on drugs.
Mesereau was leaving Madeo restaurant in L.A. last night, at the same time Harvey Levin was leaving. H.L. asked the legendary lawyer about drugs, the famous pajama incident at the trial, and why so many doctor's were listed as defense witnesses.

Tyrese and Brandy tried to avoid pappers like the plague this weekend -- but instead, they came face-to-face with a TMZ camera and the TMZ boss ... who just happened to be there.
Here's how it all went down: Our cameras found Tyrese on a mall trip with Brandy in Century City -- but it was clear T didn't want to be seen. In fact, it seemed like Tyrese sent B to distract the pappers, so he could sneak down the back staircase.
But when Ty went to the valet, Harvey just happened to be there, waiting for his car ... and when the photog kept firing questions at Tyrese, the actor confronted Harv while the cameras rolled. Guess what happens next...
P.S. -- Tyrese and Brandy left together.

The Queen of All Media has challenged the King of the Parade Floats to a duel! Who can eat more wieners?
Perez Hilton has thrown down the digital gauntlet and dared Gummi Bear to find out which of them can chow down the most hotdogs -- is this kosher?
The Queen says he's going to be outside of Kitson on Robertson Blvd., Thursday at 5:00 PM, where they'll see which of the two bloated loudmouths can run a mile and then down the most dogs. There she blows!
Perez has asked TMZ boss Harvey Levin to officiate, and he has agreed -- on the condition that they eat only Hebrew National dogs. No word yet from Team Gummi.

The Reverend Al Sharpton and our very own Harvey Levin went head-to-head over RobohoGate.
TMZ used the word "Roboho" two weeks ago in a humorous fashion review to describe an outfit Beyonce wore in performance at the BET Awards. In a statement to TMZ, The Rev said the use of the word was racist and misogynistic. TMZ respectfully disagreed.

Before Paris Hilton was released from Lynwood this morning, her lawyer, Rich Hutton, slipped Harvey Levin a personalized sketch and note from the heiress herself.
The drawing, a self-portrait of Hilton at a pay phone inside the jail, features Paris in her jail issue with an incredibly accurate depiction of our fearless leader hosting "Larry King Live" on television in the background.
Sorry folks, you ain't gonna see this one on eBay.

Paris' family has said the ex-jailbird is craving a Fourth Meal. While we have not confirmed if her choice will be Nachos BellGrande or a Taco Supreme, cameras have caught Hilton at Taco Bell in the past. Now she will return to the scene of the crime.

Chaos Ensues as Paris Exits Jail
About an hour after being released from jail, Paris Hilton arrived at her parents' Beverly Hills home -- which is, of course, substantially larger than the cell she called home for the past three weeks.
Hilton sat in the back of the SUV that took her home as the driver waited for the road to clear of the paparazzi crush. Despite the
blinding flurry of flashes, a relatively makeup-free Paris has never looked so happy to have her picture taken -- certainly more so than
the last time we saw her.
Whether or not Paris is at her folks' place for the night is still unknown.

Forced to go 23 days without takeout from Mr.Chow, Paris Hilton spent her time in the clink ordering up a
smorgasboard from the prison canteen.

Paris ordered from the same menu available to all prisoners. TMZ has obtained a record of what the ex-con/heiress consumed during a single week of her jailhouse stay -- and let's just say it wasn't exactly a light lunch at the Ivy.
Beside the standard three meals a day, Paris devoured such delectables as instant chicken noodle soup, blueberry muffins, toffee peanuts, packs of coffee, soy sauce, Cheerios, fruit punch mix and mustard. Seems like she had nothing to do but eat!
And the scales of justice are in -- and TMZ has learned that, despite her feeding frenzy, Paris actually
lost seven lbs (not ten as previously reported). Who needs Atkins when you got chicken broth and instant coffee!
And don't think Paris let her beauty regimen slide just because she was locked up with hundreds of her favorite fellow female inmates! To get herself prison gorgeous, Paris ordered skin cream, eyebrow pencils, an emery board and cotton swabs. Pretty in orange!
In total, Paris spent $145.32 on her purchases for a week. Cheaper than drinks at Hyde!

TMZ has learned the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has gone after the deputy who arrested Mel Gibson with a vengeance. At the same time, it appears little has been done to determine if top brass gave Gibson special treatment and deceived the media.
Sheriff's sources confirm to TMZ that the Department obtained a search warrant and raided the home of Deputy James Mee on September 13th. We're told deputies went inside and took Mee's computer, phone records and other documents. Sheriff's Department sources say the Department got the warrant because officials believed Deputy Mee leaked four pages of the original arrest report to TMZ. The Sheriff's Department claims it's a crime for a law enforcement officer to leak confidential documents.
The warrant is still sealed and the results of the search have not been made public.
TMZ contacted Mee's lawyer, Richard Shinee, who would not comment on the warrant.
Meanwhile, the Sheriff's Department claims it is still investigating charges that Department officials gave Gibson special treatment and lied to the media the day of the arrest.
The day Gibson was busted, Sheriff's officials told TMZ and other media that the arrest occurred "without incident." Nothing could be further from the truth. Gibson acknowledged his out-of-control behavior on today's "Good Morning America."
Also on the day of the arrest, Sheriff's officials told TMZ that the story it was about to publish documenting Gibson's anti-Semitic remarks and vulgar conduct was "absolutely false." Only after TMZ obtained portions of the arrest report did the Department change its story, ultimately telling TMZ the entire report would be submitted to the D.A.
As of today, no one from the Sheriff's Department has contacted TMZ to ask questions about the website's interactions with top Sheriff's brass on the day in question. By contrast, a Sheriff's official did contact TMZ's Managing Editor Harvey Levin to ask about the leak. Levin refused to give the deputy any information.
Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore told TMZ that everything is being done to make sure that the L.A. County Sheriff's Department is doing "everything which is right."
Michael Gennaco, Chief Attorney for the Office of Independent Review, the oversight panel for the Department, tells TMZ the Sheriff's Department cannot do a "complete and robust" investigation into the way the Department handled the case until the criminal investigation into the leak is resolved.

The funnyman dropped off a little smack talk on the 'EXTRA' set by commenting on how K-Fed was enjoying the news of Britney's latest pregnancy. Spade quipped, "He was celebrating... at a strip club last night."
