An upright and balanced David Hasselhoff walked around Beverly Hills today, just one day after his people say a combination of medications -- including an ear infection med -- messed up his equilibrium and put him in the hospital.
On the flip side, David's ex sounded the alarm yesterday and had someone call 911, claiming her 17-year-old daughter Hayley believed David was drunk and needed emergency help.

David Hasselhoff says he wasn't drunk yesterday -- he wasn't even drinking and yesterday's drama was all a misunderstanding over an ear problem.
As we first reported, paramedics went to Hasselhoff's home yesterday and took him to the hospital -- this, after his daughter Hayley called her mom and sounded an alarm. Pamela says she was told David had been drinking and one of her friends then called 911.
Hasselhoff's people tell us he was being treated by his family doctor for an ear infection and was taking Antivert. Hasselhoff was also taking Antabuse, which prevents alcoholics from drinking. The Hoff's camp says the combination of drugs messed up his equilibrium, he was feeling sick and wasn't able to reach his family doctor.
Team Hasselhoff says when paramedics arrived David decided to go to the hospital -- not because he was drinking but to help with the equilibrium problem.
Hasselhoff's people say he was released an hour after being treated at the hospital.

TMZ has learned David Hasselhoff was taken to the hospital Sunday night after his daughter sounded an alarm that he had been drinking to excess.
We've learned 17-year-old Hayley Hasselhoff -- who was at home with David -- called her mother Pamela, claiming David was extremely drunk. One of Pamela's friends called 911, paramedics arrived at the family's home in Encino and took him to the hospital.
We're told the hospital was supposed to release David Sunday night.
No comment yet from Hasselhoff's reps.

David Hasselhoff has apparently made up with daughter Hayley yesterday, lunching at Joan's on Third. As we reported, The Hoff got into it big time with Hayley last weekend, just before he went to the hospital. Hasselhoff calls B.S. on reports he had a .39 blood alcohol level.
For the record ... Joan's on Third is delicious!

A month after receiving primary physical and sole legal custody of his two girls, Hayley and Taylor, the happy Hasselhoff brood hit up "The Simpsons Movie" premiere on Tuesday -- sans ex-wife Pamela Bach! D'oh!
With his contentious custody battle behind him, The Hoff, with daughters in tow, flashed a peace sign on the red carpet. Now he can eat his burgers in peace!
