Why is Nic Cage in such deep trouble??? The person Nic's suing has tried to explain Cage's financial troubles before...
Last year, the IRS put the screws to Cage after they discovered the actor tried to write off $3.3. million in personal expenses as business expenses from 2002 to 2004 -- things like limo rides, meals, gifts and Cage's private jet.
Cage's business manager, Samuel J. Levin tried to explain the situation to Forbes, telling them Nic's tax moves were "customary in the entertainment industry" -- the IRS didn't see it that way.
Ultimately, Uncle Sam forced Cage to hand over $660,000 in back taxes and penalties.
But now, Cage has an even bigger financial mess on his hands -- accusing Levin of being so reckless and incompetent with his money, that he's been forced "down a path of financial ruin."
And this time it's Nic who's doing something "customary in the entertainment industry" -- he's hired power lawyer Marty Singer to sue Levin's pants off.

Question: What do you call a snail who cut off his own ear?
The answer used to be Escar Van Gogh -- (get it?) -- but according to a new report on the painter's legendary ear, the joke may no longer be accurate (still funny though)!
Some art historians claim Van Gogh may not have cut off his own ear with a razor -- as the stories go -- but instead his ear was sliced off by another man ... another famous painter!
Two German historians claim there is enough evidence to support their claim that Paul Gauguin, a post-impressionist painter who happened to be a fencing badass, most likely cut off V.G.'s ear during a sword fight. Ze Germans also claim the two men decided it would be in their best interest to cover up the truth.
According to reports, the curators at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam are still backing the legendary self-mutilation story -- but one fact remains ... a snail that has to pee will still be known as Escar Gotta Go.

Nothing thrills a jaded former fan quite like a vintage doll. Lucky day, eBay has a European auction for a Michael Jackson HIStory doll, still sealed in its box.
Dressed in black and white, and complete with that creepy arm brace thing he was wearing in the 90s, this doll is sure to warm the cockles of hearts that remember the days before Neverland search warrants, putty noses, and dangling children named Blanket.
Now your child can finally play with Michael, worry-free.
