Kanye West rolled into the Original Pancake House in Chicago this morning for a little flap-jack action with the regular folk ... but it was the lady he brought to breakfast that got everyone talkin!
The lady scarfin' down breakfast with K was Amber Rose -- the girlfriend he reportedly just broke up with.
We're told the two were extremely nice to staff and patrons during the meal -- but they weren't seen doing "anything couply" during the meal.
In case you're wondering what Kanye's breakfast of champions contains -- one omelet, an order of strawberry pancakes -- and extra whipped cream.
Who's hungry?!

Senator Charles Schumer (D, NY) is on a one man maple syrup crusade -- indirectly waging war on Vermont because he believes the sugary sap from his state is better than anywhere else.
Schumer fired off a letter to the CEO of IHOP, pleading for the restaurants in his state to serve maple syrup from New York with their Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruities -- an idea he got from the good people of VT.
As for his scientific evidence behind the claim that syrup in the Empire State rules supreme: "It's more mapley than any other."
UPDATE: It's about to get sticky because Senator Patrick Leahy (D, VT) just gave TMZ this statement--
"If Senator Schumer can convince restaurants in his state to use New York syrup, more power to him. Just so long as they're ready to lose market share to restaurants that use the real thing from Vermont."

We've learned Nicky Hilton was an alleged battery victim yesterday and the suspect was arrested.
It happened at 5:00 AM outside the IHOP in West Hollywood. Law enforcement sources tell us a male transient pushed her to the ground. Nicky got up and promptly made a citizen's arrest. Someone called the cops and the suspect was arrested.
She was not injured.
UPDATE: We just found out Nicky herself held the assailant at bay while the cops came. So Nicky is an enforcer! And, when the cops came, the delusional dude claimed he was her BF.
