Stone Cold Steve Austin is the new man of steel ... inflicted injuries.
The wrestler-turned-action star showed off some serious head damage outside of Gold's Gym yesterday -- saying he got it by running right into a steel beam during a movie stunt!
And while we learned about his injury, Austin learned something even more valuable: A slightly different definition of the word "Bear."

He came on down ... and stayed down. 
A former contestant is suing the folks at the "Price is Right" -- claiming he was tripped on his way down to Contestant's Row last year ... and hasn't been the same since.
Here's the deal -- While Michael Lerner was charging down the aisle in a fit of uncontrollable glee, dude claims a folding chair being used by a "cheering" audience member struck him on his right ankle.
In the lawsuit filed Friday, Lerner claims he suffered a torn Achilles Tendon and a herniated lumbar disc ...resulting in multiple surgeries ... with harmful mental and physical residue.
He's suing for unspecified damages -- if you guess how much, you win the showcase showdown.

You're looking at the face of a man who took on the Tony Awards -- and barely made it out alive. 
Bret Michaels just posted these gruesome pics of his busted ass face after a prop at the award show came down and cracked him in the kisser at the end of a live performance Sunday night.
The Poison frontman also posted a scathing press release on his website, attacking the Tony's for not caring about his injuries-- because he's not Liza Minnelli!!
Here's a snippet from the actual release -- "I feel had this incident happened to Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton or Elton John the Tonys would have at least issued a letter of concern."
In the statement, Bret claims he was dazed and bloodied during the incident, but "the full extent of his injuries remains to be seen until all x-rays are back."
Michaels reps claim someone working on the Tony's should have prevented the injury form ever happening, saying "the prop should have been immediately halted until Michaels was clear."
Sounds like someone's setting the stage for a serious lawsuit...

We've just obtained the 911 call made after an "American Idol" stage manager was injured on the retracting stairs last month.
The caller says Debbie Williams fell "approximately ten feet" and onto her leg, was "bleeding" and may have broken her leg.
Turns out Debbie didn't break it, but suffered a deep gash that required a bunch of stitches.

Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital today after getting hurt on the set of her new movie.
Angelina was shooting "Salt" on Long Island, when she bumped her head, getting some sort of nick in between her eyes. She bled a bit and was taken to the hospital.
Her manager tells us she was doing a stunt when the incident occurred. He says she is completely fine.
We just got a statement from the film's production company:
"This morning while filming an action sequence... Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed."

Bear Grylls nearly sliced off his finger while filming a Vietnamese jungle episode of "Man vs Wild" -- and of course, dude took a picture of the gruesome, poorly stitched-up digit to share with the world. 
Grylls, who probably has a bloody keyboard to clean up now, explained the nasty gash on his blog, saying, "I severed my finger down to the bone on a razor sharp strand of half cut bamboo. I got it sewn up but it was a bit of a quick job to see me through, hence it looks a bit ugly and ragged."

Ziggy Marley learned the hard way -- sometimes charity hurts.
Bob's kid was playin' in a celebrity soccer match in L.A. Saturday, when he busted his knee so badly, he needed assistance to get off the field. 
TMZ spoke with Marley's rep who told us, "He's walking around on crutches and has bandages on his knee."
Ziggy has a date with the doc this afternoon -- no word on what kind of medicinal products he's using to help with the pain.

The paparazzo who claims he was the only pap around when Madonna fell off her horse on Saturday says he isn't to blame for her fall -- and he claims Madonna's peeps are straight up lying about what went down.
We spoke with the photog who tells us he shot Madonna before and after she fell -- but was not there for the actual fall. He tells us he took pics of her riding and then left. About 30 minutes later, he says he got a tip about an ambulance being sent out for a 50-year-old woman -- so he put two and two together and went back to snap pics of her being tended to.
He says all his photos were taken from a public road and the only other photog around was Stephen Klein -- the famous photographer whose house Madonna was at.
As Hinton put it, "If I had startled the horse, I would have gotten pictures!"
We now know what happened to Natasha Richardson on the ski slope when she was critically hurt yesterday, suffering a brain injury.
We're told she was having a private lesson on a green slope (beginner) at a ski resort in Quebec, Canada. She fell -- we're not sure why. There was no blood and no sign of impact. Two ski patrollers came to her rescue. When they got there she was conscious -- smiling and making jokes.
An hour later, Natasha started to complain of a headache and said she didn't feel well. Someone from the resort called 911, and she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Natasha was conscious when she left the resort.

The dreaded "Dancing with the Stars Curse" has struck again -- Jewel and Nancy O'Dell have both been forced to quit the show due to dancing-related injuries!
Even with a knee full of steroids, Jewel couldn't power through the strenuous training regimen -- officials confirmed the singer fractured both of her tibias while practicing for the competition.
O'Dell was also hurt in the heat of ballroom battle -- she went down with a torn meniscus that will require surgery.
Producers haven't made any official announcements as to who will replace the two women, but there are serious rumblings that Holly Madison will take one of the spots -- and why not ... she does happen to be an expert at the horizontal mambo.
The storied "Curse" has taken down some of "Dancing's" best over the last few seasons, including -- Marie Osmond (fainted), Stacy Keibler (seizure), Susan Lucci (ankle), Jeffrey Ross (eye), Karina Smirnoff (fainted), Derek Hough (head injury), Misty May-Treanor (torn achiles), Mark Ballas (shoulder), Kym Johnson (shoulder), Toni Braxton (benign lump), Brooke Burke (foot), Julianne Hough (appendectomy), Jane Seymour (food poisoning), Cristian de la Fuente (arm), Kim Kardashian (foot) and Gilles Marini has already been diagnosed with tendinitis. And let's not forget about the most tragic injury of all ... Lisa Rinna's lips.

Move over, A-Roid -- Jewel has now taken your place as the face of cheating in pro sports. Alright, it's dancing ... but still.
Jewel took to her blog yesterday to announce she is battling tendonitis in her knee as she prepares for the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars." But Jewel, unlike seemingly every baseball player, openly admits she is taking steroids to help her stay healthy. She writes, "Hopefully these steroids will really do the trick and I can keep bad flare ups at a bay in the future."
It is unknown what ABC's policy is on performance-enhancing drugs in reality dance competition shows. Certainly if Jewel should go on to win, "DWTS" purists will call for an asterisk next to her name....

Two weeks after his "Harry Potter" stunt double, David Holmes, hurt his back doing an aerial stunt, Daniel Radcliffe was spotted leaving the hospital where Holmes has been laid up.
Radcliffe was in NYC when the accident occurred on the UK set of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows."

So why, you ask, was Chris Brown booked for making criminal threats rather than domestic abuse, given the victim -- we're told Rihanna -- had "visible injuries"?
Law enforcement sources tell us they typically book a suspect for the most serious crime they can be charged with -- it's then up to the D.A. to file any additional charges.
Given there were allegedly visible injuries, the crime of making criminal threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison. Domestic abuse is four years.

There must be something in the bronzer over at "Dancing with the Stars."
Multiple sources tell TMZ dancing pro Kym Johnson now has an injured shoulder, but it won't keep her from performing tonight.
It's unclear how she hurt it, but it may require surgery down the road.
