The power vested in Sharon Stone wasn't strong enough to hold together the first marriage she performed back in 2004.
Almost 5 years after Stone went through the trouble of becoming a mail-order minister just so she could officiate the wedding of restaurateur Michael Bourseau and stylist Brenda Swanson -- the couple is filing for divorce.
But Sharon isn't the only celebrity to blame for jinxing the doomed ceremony -- Jack Nicholson and Robert Wagner served as witnesses.
As for the couple -- they cited irreconcilable differences. They have no kids together.
No word if Stone will perform the divorce.

Though they faked their deaths and disappeared to a private island back in 1999, Amanda Woodward and Dr. Peter Burns returned to Beverly Hills last night. Viva la Melrose!
"Melrose Place" alums Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner were caught leaving Mr. Chow together, getting touchy-feely in the back of an SUV. Luckily for them, there were no pools around to be thrown into.

Jack Wagner was getting pounded yesterday in Hawaii -- and he loved every minute of it!
The former "Melrose Place" hunk was caught doing a little body surfing yesterday, and while this isn't something he appears to be all too familiar with -- or good at -- his goofy and medicated-looking grin never leaves him.

Heather Locklear and new/old boyfriend Jack Wagner were spotted frolicking on the beach on Sunday ... just like old friends!
Looks like the former "Melrose Place" stars have rediscovered each other after a long hiatus. Jack's marriage washed up in 2006, and Heather jettisoned David Spade just a short while ago.
Nothing like a good rerun!
