James Caan has filed for divorce from Linda -- for the second time.
James had filed back in 2005, but called off the divorce a month later, claiming they had patched things up.
Now, James has filed again in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
They have two minor children together.
James is no stranger to divorce -- Linda is his 4th wife.
James' rep just gave us the following statement: "We have two beautiful kids together and will remain great friends. Everything will be fine."

It's official -- James Caan stinks.

After getting one whiff of Sonny Corleone outside Boa this weekend, one fan couldn't help but talk about how good the actor smelled.
We tried to get him to share the secret to his stank. It didn't go well.

James Caan "has confused himself with his character from the first "Godfather" movie and thinks he can act like a bully..." -- so alleges a film company that Caan sued.
Fish Weir Filmworks has answered Caan's $2 million lawsuit, in which the actor claims the company screwed him out of his fee for a starring role in "The Lightkeepers."
In its answer, Fish Weir attempted to out-prose Caan's lawyer, Marty Singer, by alleging "Caan is an actor whose life and career have had more ups and downs than the average roller coaster...."
Fish Weir claims it never had a contract with Caan. The company's lawyer gratuitously mentioned that Caan has had 3 divorces and after one of them "he moved into the Playboy Mansion to 'recover.'"
For the record, the answer doesn't hold a candle to the complaint, in which Singer alleged Fish Weir "like some miscreant characters from the hit televison drama 'Las Vegas,' thought they could pull one over on Caan and get away with it."

It may be the first lawsuit that gets optioned for a movie script, and it begins like this....
"Daniel Adams and Fish Weir Filmworks, LLC, like some miscreant characters from the hit television drama 'Las Vegas,' thought they could pull one over on James Caan and get away with it. They were dead wrong. Caan is not one to be hustled or cheated by Hollywood players and he's calling their bluff."
That crazy legal pit bull Marty Singer is at it again. He's filed suit on behalf of James Caan, alleging the actor is owed more than a mil for a starring role in "The Lightkeepers."
The lawsuit, filed today L.A. County Superior Court, claims Caan inked a $2 million deal to shoot the movie in August, 2008.
Caan claims Daniel Adams and Fish Weir Filmworks, LLC (aka, the defendants) wrongfully backed out of the deal.
UPDATE: Glenn Litwak, the attorney representing Fish Weir, issued this statement: "The complaint will be vigorously defended by Fish Weir and Mr. Adams, and they do not intend on paying any nuisance settlement to Mr. Caan."

James Caan refused to flip off a photog -- but had no problem threatening to beat him up.
Like father, like son.

His career may be stalled, but Cuba Gooding Jr.'s sense of humor is still very busy.
TMZ was in Anaheim last night for game two of the Stanley Cup (Go Ducks!), where Cuba hilarously made faces behind the back of clueless "OC" star Benjamin McKenzie. Ryan Atwood would have beat his ass down -- but Ben took it all with a smile.
An ecstatic Ray Liotta, a hearing-impaired James Caan, Jerry O'Connell and a quacky Snoop Doog were also at the game, all giving their support to the mighty Ducks.

Sly Stallone is still the man, and he proved it yesterday.
He patiently went toe to toe with mobs of fans in Hollywood at last night's premiere of "Rocky Balboa," signing autographs and smiling for photogs. Thirty years since Rocky first stepped into the ring, the Italian Stallion proved he's still a knockout.
Also showing up for the premiere: Three 6 Mafia walked by in a Steel City cap, James Caan, and Jason Hervey of "The Wonder Years." Benjamin McKenzie showed his face, along with handsome "Rocky" co-star Milo Ventimiglia, who scribbled his name for fans.
Also out for the night: former teen idol Frankie Avalon, and the most politically incorrect man we know; Bill Maher, along with a guy anyone would want in their corner -- Paulie (aka Burt Young) himself!
Check it out in today's Star Catcher.

What's the use of going to college if you can't completely waste four (or more) years of your life on cheap beer, cheaper sex, and free condoms?

Well, according to the resident analysts at CollegeHumor.com, not very much. The ribald comedy site employed a rigorously absurdist methodology to produce its very first ranking of the colleges where students can, in its own parlance, have "the most fun while putting forth the least effort."
No doubt the famous alumni and attendees of Michigan State University -- like James Caan, and Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera, who took correspondence classes there -- will be thrilled to hear that they've landed right at the top, with the most compelling mix of low SAT scores, late bar-closing times, and Greek-system density (among many other factors) amongst the fifty schools surveyed.
Big Ten schools did marvelously on the whole, with nine of its member colleges placing in the top 20 of the CollegeHumor rankings, meaning that such notable alums as Madonna (U. of Michigan), Kevin Kline (Indiana U.), and Ashton Kutcher (Iowa) were privy to some of the finest college-life available to young Americans, even if it was a few years ago. Will Ferrell's beloved University of Southern California apparently isn't a total hotbed of salacity, as it came in 34th.

The most buff couple in Hollywood hit Julian's art gallery at La Cienega and 3rd Street for the opening of a new photography exhibit. They were so focused on the work adorning the walls that they forgot their primary task - making sure the paparazzi don't photograph them.
When the super-couple finally noticed the photogs outside they moved away into another part of the gallery.
Less shy were father and son James and Scott Caan, who both seemed to enjoy examining the art.
Not surprisingly, the most willing to be photographed celeb was Kim Stewart, who appeared to spend more time hanging out by the big front window than checking out the rest of the exhibit.

Now you can enter the Corleone world in the new Electronic Arts video game, 'The Godfather The Game.'
At the premiere party at club Privilege in LA last week, cameras caught up with Sonny Corleone himself, James Caan, as well as 'Godfather' fans Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. The Hilton sisters and Tori Spelling were in attendance as well. Click here to go inside the party.
James Caan lent his voice to the game, as did Marlon Brando before his death - though most was recorded by a Brando sound-alike.
