Britney Returns to Her Bottle Blonde Roots

Britney Spears may not be free of her daddy's grasp until at least November, but last night she proved she could get control on one aspect of her life -- she fixed that busted hair do.

Brit's Conservatorship - All Good Things Must End

britney spearsBritney Spears' daddy is ready to release his daughter into the wild again -- we've learned the conservatorship may be coming to an end.

Sources tell us Jamie Spears will ask the court to review the terms of the conservatorship after her concert tour ends in November. Jamie can't ask the judge to end it -- just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life.

We're told Jamie thinks Britney is ready to roll on her own. He has made her life his full time job since February, 2008.

Fact is ... if it weren't for the tour, given Britney's progress, the judge might already have made the decision to undo the conservatorship. The various vendors were promised under their contracts that the conservatorship would stay in tact throughout the tour.

A little editorial comment ... it may be the most remarkable turnaround we've ever seen. A year and a half ago, people were worried for Britney's life.

Papa Spears -- If You Hurt Britney, I Hurt You

Britney Spears' dad claims allegations that he battered Sam Lutfi last year are completely bogus -- because Jamie Spears believes he had a legal right to beat his ass if he wanted to ... but Jamie is coy about whether he actually did it.

In legal papers filed today, Jamie is very careful to not admit he punched Lutfi in the chest at Brit's house last year -- as Lutfi suggested in a recent lawsuit. However, Jamie says the law allows him to open a can of whoop ass if the situation calls for it -- and according to the docs, the Lutfi situation called for it.

Jamie claims "he was provoked" by Lutfi and was "privileged to use force in and about the matter complained."

He adds, "Any necessary force may be used to protect from wrongful injury the person or property of oneself, or a wife, husband, child, parent or other relative or member of one's family."

Britney -- At the Sound of the Beep, Help Me!

So there's a voicemail recording that just started circulating -- a message allegedly left by Britney Spears, worrying that daddy Jamie might take the kids from her.

The tape, which JFXonline claims was recorded on January 21, 2009, sounds like a message left for a lawyer -- we think we know who ... the dude who's been meddling in Britney's affairs for a year now. She talks about ending the conservatorship.

P.S. -- Sounds like she's ok with Jamie now, since he's been with her on tour and the conservatorship is running the show ... which is raking in the dough.

Jamie Spears -- Britney Is Hard Work

jamie spears: exclusiveJamie Spears says taking care of Britney is more than a full time job, and that's why the court is giving him $16,000 a month.

In a declaration to the conservatorship commissioner filed Friday, Jamie wrote that he engages in 200 - 400 communications every day to coordinate all things Brit -- not including Fanta orders. Jamie says he's overseeing Britney's tour that kicks off tonight, and must coordinate Brit's "medical, health, business, costuming, personal, security, household staff, and legal matters (touching upon entertainment, music, family law litigation, the resolution of numerous disputes, and the ongoing litigation and conservatorship matters."

Jamie says he works 60 - 70 hours a week to keep things afloat.

Britney Will Tour With Kiddies

Britney Spears, K-fedIt's official... Britney Spears will go on tour -- for a price.

We've learned Jamie Spears and K-Fed have now both signed the document we told you about last week, which clears the path for Brit taking her kids on the road for her upcoming concert tour. What, you ask, is in it for Federline?? How bout $5,000 a week.

As we first reported, the way the deal goes is Jayden James and Sean Preston will follow Britney to three hubs -- New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Britney will commute back and forth from each hub during the tour. She's also renting houses in New Jersey and New Orleans for Kevin if he wants to come along for the ride. But K-Fed gets the $5,000 a week, whether he shows up or not.

But wait, there's more. We've learned the deal Jamie and K-Fed signed memorializes the custody arrangement they've all been following since last year. Britney gets the kids 3 days and nights a week, according to the new agreement, which will remain in effect after the tour is over. We're also told many weeks, Britney has the kids more than Kevin. So in effect it's 50/50 custody.

Score another victory for Brit's lawyer, Laura Wasser, who sealed the deal.

Britney Sued By Lutfi -- Did She Really Fear Dad?

Sam Lutfi & Britney SpearsSam Lutfi has filed a lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents, Jamie and Lynne, claiming they defamed him and also alleging Britney lived in fear of her father.

In his lawsuit filed today, Sam boldly claims, "Resentful of Lynne and afraid of Jamie's controlling, violent, and often unpredictable behavior, Britney began inquiring about obtaining restraining orders against Jamie and Lynne." It was under those circumstances that Sam met, and eventually worked for, Britney.

Sam goes on to accuse Jamie of physically assaulting him. He says he was standing in Britney's kitchen on January 29, 2008 when Jamie stormed into the house. Lutfi alleges Jamie yelled at him, claiming Sam made a rude comment to Lynne the night before. Then, Sam claims, Jamie "intentionally punched him in the chest" and threatened to kill him if he ever heard Sam make a rude comment about Lynne or any member of the Spears family again.

All the claims of libel and defamation spring from Lynne's book, "Through the Storm." Lutfi says since the publication of the book, he "has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."

Lutfi also claims Britney broke a contract with him and owes him unpaid management fees. He claims he had an oral agreement with Spears to be her manager for four years, earning 15% commission.

Last Friday, Britney got a restraining order against Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib, barring them from having any contact with her, her parents or her kids.

Lutfi, Ghalib Claimed They Had Britney Secrets

TMZ has just obtained declarations from Jamie Spears and others in the latest Britney Spears case -- Britney's lawyer says Sam Lutfi had inserted himself and tried peddling false and hurtful info about Jamie, Britney and others in her family.

Sam allegedly was calling lawyers saying that Britney wanted to hire her own lawyer, presumably to fight the conservatorship. Sources tell TMZ that is definitely not what Britney wanted.

Sam Lutfi & Britney Spears

As we first reported, the conservators for Britney Spears obtained a restraining order today against Sam Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib and attorney Jon Eardley. We're told Brit herself is furious at Lutfi and Ghalib and would like to see them jailed.

Here's the most interesting part....According to the legal papers, late last month Lutfi sent text messages to Brit's hairdresser, saying he wasn't responsible for the conservatorship. A week or so later, Britney received "instant messages from a person with the screen name ____....The person -- who posed as the mother of a daughter with autism -- made a number of utterly false and hurtful assertions concerning Mr. Spears and his family, threatening to go public with such purported 'information' unless Mr. Spears spoke with that person." Almost immediately after Brit got those messages, Lutfi began calling Jamie.

Britney Wants Lutfi and Ghalib to Rot in Jail

We've learned Britney Spears conservators have just obtained a restraining order against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib.

Britney Spears

Britney's lawyers went to court this morning to obtain the injunction.

A source close to the conservatorship tells TMZ Britney asked her conservators to "protect her from Sam and Adnan." We've also learned Britney told her conservators she was afraid of them both and hoped they could be locked up in jail.

Britney SpearsA source tells TMZ the conservators believe Lutfi and Ghalib conspired to try and undermine Britney's conservatorship in a way that would have been extremely harmful to her. We're also told attorney Jon Eardley -- the dude Lutfi used early last year to mount a bizarre, baseless attack on the conservatorship -- was allegedly also in on the conspiracy and the TRO is against him as well.

Britney -- Seven More Years of Bad Luck

After completely retooling her image with last night's "documentary," Britney Spears tempted the gods and opened an umbrella indoors!
Britney Spears: Click to watch
Britney's mom and dad -- the one she called an "a-hole" on the docu-thingy -- safely brought little Sean Preston and Jayden James through Newark airport yesterday, while Britney battled through the scores of paps alone over at JFK.

Brit's in NYC to promote her "Don't Call it a Comeback" tour, where her arm-movement dancing will continue on "GMA" tomorrow -- her 27th birthday.

Britney to Commish: I Gotta Dance!

Britney Spears and her conservators formally have asked the court commissioner handling her conservatorship to allow her to go on a U.S. tour next year, with the possibility of taking it worldwide.

We've learned when Britney was in court Friday, she told the judge she wants to tour, feels competent to do so and she wants her conservators to make the necessary deals with backup singers, roadies, venues, ticket brokers and the many others involved.

We're told the conservators, including daddy Jamie, are on board and have laid out how the deals will be structured. They told the commish they will submit all of the contracts for court review.

The proposed order is on the commissioner's desk, and she could sign it as early as tomorrow. If that happens, we're told the conservators will begin making deals immediately for the tour.

This is an incredibly complicated undertaking, in no small part because Britney legally can't make any of the deals herself.

Brit Gets 2 Tickets -- 1 from Cops, 1 to Germany

Britney Spears has finally flown the coop -- but not before getting slapped on the wrist by the long arm of the law.
Britney Spears: Click to view!
Cameras caught Brit and her all-powerful papa Jamie catching a plane out of LAX earlier today. But before she got to the gate, parking enforcement dropped a ticket on her Escalade after her driver dropped it in a no-parking zone.

Word is she hopped a plane to Germany -- we're trying to confirm.

UPDATE: Break out the bratwurst. Brit IS on her way to Germany. Under the supervision of her daddy, Brit will hit several cities to promote her new album.

Britney's Conservator -- Tap This!

Jamie Spears was drinking at a bar this weekend. But contrary to several reports, we're told it was NOT alcohol.

Spears was at Big Dean's "Muscle In" Cafe in Santa Monica Friday night. He was bellied up at the bar, drinking two or three glasses of something. We're told it was O'Doul's, not beer.

If Jamie had been drinking beer it would be a big deal -- he's a recovering alcoholic and guzzling suds could jeopardize his conservatorship over Britney.

We're told he drank his O'Doul's and walked out with a cheeseburger and chili fries.

There were reports the liquid came from a tap. We checked and turns out O'Doul's does come in keg form. We did not know that.

Jamie Spears' Twang Too Thick for Jurors

Britney Spears' father hit the stand last week to help his little boo boo fight the System -- but his Southern drawl may have been a bit too 'billy for the jury to understand.

Jamie Spears' testimony -- riddled with country slang-style answers like "I have no ideer" -- is now being read back to the deadlocked jury by someone else.

Hearing the testimony from another mouth could play a significant role because -- according to our spy -- most people in the courtroom looked as though they had "no ideeer" what the hell Jamie was talkin' about the first time around.

Whatever it takes to git 'er done.

UPDATE: The jury wasn't able to make a decision today -- and has been dismissed. Day 5 of taxpayer-funded Britneygate will resume tomorrow at 9AM sharp.

Daddy Spears: It's Hard Dang Work Being Me

Jamie Spears needs to get paid y'all!

Daddy Spears quit his job as a personal chef in February to watch over Brit 24/7. As compensation, the Commish agreed he could pay himself $2500 a week from Brit's cash.

Court docs just released today prove he's working hard for the money. He's her full-time bitch -- running errands, buying groceries, paying her bills, managing her medical care and "cooking supper on a regular basis." In addition to all these mundane little things, he spends his days and nights as his daughter's pal -- to "ensure her comfort and well-being."

We're told Jamie filed these papers accounting for his every move to keep everything above board-- and make sure all involved knew exactly what he was up to.
