WWE Star Offers the Plane Truth

Oft-troubled WWE star Jeff Hardy is finally opening up about the flight he got kicked off of a few weeks ago.

The Baltimore Sun caught up with Hardy at a promotional appearance in Maryland when asked about the airplane incident saying, "I had been drinking a lot, I'm not gonna lie. I guess I was stumbling boarding the plane. I then was asleep when security told me to get off the plane."

Security mentioned he was too drunk to fly. Hardy then "cooperated with security and left the plane."

No further trouble was reported and he was not punished by the WWE. Crazy is as crazy does.

WWE Star -- No Third Strike Called

Jeff HardyOft-troubled WWE star Jeff Hardy was kicked off an airplane flight earlier this week, but now the WWE says it won't be his third strike.

Hardy was pegged by Southwest Airlines officials Tuesday at the Nashville International Airport as too intoxicated to board the plane. We're told he found a different way out of town.

The once-fired and two-time suspended WWE star has had his share of drug problems and can't afford a third strike -- which would win him a pink slip.

But the whole thing Tuesday was precautionary -- there was no incident and the WWE will turn a blind eye. And there's this -- Hardy is starring in the next WWE pay-per-view event next month, and that will line the org's pockets nicely.

Matt Hardy: I Feared Jeff was Burning to Death

Wrestler Jeff Hardy's house burned down last weekend -- and his brother and wrestling partner, Matt Hardy, was the first person at the scene of the blaze. He blogged about the experience on his MySpace page.
"I was having a pretty standard "gotta fly out early and go to work tomorrow" Friday night. I was washing and packing clothes, booking my rental car, and writing bills to put in the mail on my way to the airport in the morning. Around midnight on Saturday, March 15th, I let my beloved pet dog Lucas outside to use the bathroom. As I stepped outside, I smelled smoke."

Wrestler Jeff Hardy's House Burned to the Ground

WWE star Jeff Hardy's home in Cameron, North Carolina burned to the ground last night -- the same week he was suspended for 60 days for failing his second drug test! He lost all his possessions, and his dog perished in the blaze.

According to legendary wrestling commentator Jim Ross' website, Hardy and his girlfriend were not home at the time. Jeff's brother, Matt, saw smoke coming from the home, but was too late to do anything about it. Jeff lived in a double-wide trailer.

The WWE has not yet released a statement.
