That JoJo singer chick is finally old enough to file a lawsuit -- 18 -- and guess what?! She's already picking a legal war with her record company!
In a lawsuit just filed in NYC courts, JoJo claims her record company shoved her into a musical "limbo" because they wont let her out of her contract -- and they won't let her record a new album either!
JoJo, real name Joanna Levesque, now wants a judge to force Da Family Entertainment to cut her loose -- plus she wants at least $500,000 for her troubles.

Joseph Simmons, Jr. -- son of rap legend Rev Run -- just pled guilty to one charge of disorderly conduct in New York after being busted last May for marijuana possession.
As part of the plea, the 19-year-old's possession charge was dropped -- he'll only have to serve one day of community service. That's gotta hurt.

Rap legend Rev Run's teenage son Joseph Simmons Jr. was arrested tonight for possession of marijuana.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 19-year old was seen allegedly buying the marijuana and rolling a joint while sitting in a car on Manhattan's Upper West Side. We're told he tried to get away by throwing his car into reverse, and nearly backed into the officer's car.
Simmons Jr, known as JoJo on the MTV reality show "Run's House," was also booked for resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

After suddenly collapsing on stage and clutching his head in agony, Jojo -- from R&B duo K-Ci and JoJo -- laid frighteningly motionless during a live concert in Australia this weekend -- unfortunately, his brother was more concerned with hitting his high note.
JoJo spent nearly a full minute on the floor by himself, while in the same time, a crew member picked up the fallen microphone, and his brother continued singing -- but neither one paid any attention to the passed out singer. In the video, you can hear people in the crowd asking, "Is he alright" and begging K-Ci to "pick him up, man!"
But here's the rub -- instead of getting him backstage for help ASAP, K-Ci picks up JoJo and drags his stumbling brother to the front of a stage for an ovation. A crew member then quickly grabbed the dazed singer by the arm and hauled him off the stage.
K-Ci told the crowd Jojo was just dizzy from the flight. We're dizzy from the spin.
