Another major star has cracked open a can of verbal whoopass on Kanye West -- Kelly Clarkson just unleashed one of the most vicious attacks yet on her blog:
Dear Kayne,
What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we're all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like sh*t.
I mean, I've seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways. It's absolutely fascinating how much I don't like you. I like everyone. I even like my asshole ex that cheated on me over you which is pretty odd since I don't even personally know you. The best part of this evening is that you weren't even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really??
I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her ... so why can't you be?? I'm not even mad at you for being an asshole ... I just pity you because you're a sad human being.
On a side note, Beyonce has always been a class act and proved again tonight that she still is. Go TEXAS!!
Taylor Swift, you outsell him ...that's why he's bitter. You know I love your work! Keep it up girl!

The guy Kelly Clarkson blames for allegedly making her look like a song-stealing rip-off artist claims he would never 'dupe' anyone -- and the idea is both "hurtful and absurd."
Clarkson basically threw producer Ryan Tedder under the bus after people pointed out her new single "Already Gone" has the same backing track as Beyonce's single, "Halo" -- which are both songs Tedder produced.
Now, Tedder is firing back at Clarkson with the following statement:
"Already Gone" is one of the best song I've written or produced since "Bleeding Love" and stands tall on it's own merits apart from "Halo".
They are two entirely different songs conceptually, melodically, & lyrically and I would never try to dupe an artist such as Kelly Clarkson or Beyoncé into recording over the same musical track, the idea is both hurtful & absurd.

Kelly Clarkson is so worried that people are going to think she ripped off Beyonce's beats for her new single that Kelly's throwing her song's co-writer under the bus instead.
Clarkson is reportedly furious at her record label for releasing her new single "Already Gone" -- after the singer realized it has the exact same backing track as Beyonce's "Halo."
But according to CBCNews.ca, who actually spoke with Clarkson, the former "Idol" champ is blaming the whole thing on music producer Ryan Tedder -- who allegedly gave the same beat to Beyonce without informing Kelly. FYI -- Tedder is also the front man for the band OneRepublic.
Clarkson told the CBC, "No one's gonna be sittin' at home, thinking 'Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to ... no, they're just gonna be saying I ripped someone off."

Proving she's still an American idol, Kelly Clarkson took the stage at KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert this weekend.
After her last album didn't do as well as expected, the 27-year-old has made a big comeback.

Kelly Clarkson is officially crawling back to people that made her who she is ... by reselling out and hitting up an "Idol" event at, of all places, Disney World.
In the greatest gathering of minds since the creation of NATO, sources say Clarkson -- who has dissed "A.I." and Clive Davis in the past -- is joining the other six winners (and a slew of losers) from the show for the debut of the "American Idol Experience" at Disney World in Orlando tonight.
The "A.I." experience is a 365-day-a-year dream-crushing extravaganza for all the wannabe singers at the park -- not including the employees forced to sing "It's A Small World" by the bathrooms at the Kilimanjaro Safari.

Despite having the #1 song in the country, tickets to a Kelly Clarkson concert are being knocked down by 50% and all you have to do to get them is ... fly to the Bahamas and pay for four nights of hotel accommodations!
Even resort hotels like the Atlantis are feeling the economic pinch, so they're trying to lure vacationers by slashing prices to Clarkson's February 14th concert. Suicidal shark not included.
If they really wanted to be your Valentine, they'd just slash their room rates!

At least one former "American Idol" isn't worried about the housing crisis -- Kelly Clarkson just bought herself a new crib, y'all!
The OG "Idol" purchased this really nice -- but modest for a Grammy-winning pop star -- $1.5 million home in Nashville.
Maybe keeping it simple will be keeping Kelly from having to perform at local balloon festivals, housing developments or outlet malls in the future!

Not sure what's in the water at Koi, but Kelly Clarkson was was happy and stumbly gal when she left.
Also in L.A.: Slash showed off his handicapped placard in his car, Joel Madden went to Mr. Chow, Jason Statham shut out a fan, LC hung out with Spencer Pratt's sis, and 41-year-old ex of Eddie Murphy and Babyface, Tracy Edmonds, looked frickin' amazing.
In NY: Paula Abdul talked about Fantasia's horrific "Idol" performance, "Terminator" hottie Summer Glau worked the autographazzi, Eliza Dushku almost ate pavement and Nick and Mariah had a shaky exit from Skylight Studios.

"American Idol" may have made her a huge star -- but Kelly Clarkson barely seems to realize it's still on TV!
Miss Independent was at the Burbank airport Saturday night, where paps asked her about "A.I." She hasn't seen the new crop of contestants yet, and probably doesn't even know she actually had a chance encounter with one of the contestants back when she was on the show.

In an effort to crack down on foreign workers taking jobs from good, hard-working Americans, U.S. authorities have stripped Brit pop star Lily Allen of her work visa and put her upcoming American tour in jeopardy, reports the Daily Mail. If need be, Kelly Clarkson is available on short notice.
Allen was reportedly detained on Sunday by Los Angeles Customs officers as she arrived for the MTV Video Music Awards nominations and to shoot a video with Kanye West. According to the British paper, Lily was arrested and subsequently "cautioned" in London last March for assaulting a photographer, thus her problem here in the states. Wanker!
"Lily doesn't know why it happened, she is quite shocked," her spokesperson told the Daily Mail. "She's due back in the UK at the end of the week to continue work on her second album, and we're sure all this will be sorted out in time for her American tour."
Lily is supposed start her U.S. tour in San Diego on September 6.

Say it isn't so! Brandon "Greasy Bear" Davis' hard-partying, firecrotch-calling ways have finally caught up with him. Page Six reports that Davis' wealthy oil family is so disgusted by his behavior that they've financially cut him off.
Greasy Bear's been asking friends for funds to stay afloat, but these days, many of them, including Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos, aren't calling him back. Oh, how the Greasy Bear has fallen!
The oily heir has reportedly holed up in Miami with one of his few remaining pals, music producer Scott Storch.

Britney Spears falls in love with dogs just about as quickly as she falls in love with men, y'all. Brit-Brit picked up a new Yorkie puppy yesterday after walking into a Bel Air pet store and spending less than a half hour with the pup. Take that, Jason Alexander!

Cowell to Kelly: Back Off!
Crabby Simon Cowell weighed in on the ongoing feud between Kelly Clarkson and Sony/BMG boss Clive Davis -- and he's firmly in the Davis camp. Clarkson and Davis butted heads over Clarkson's newest album -- with a catty Kelly saying to Davis, "You're 80, you're not supposed to like my album."
Cowell fired back in Davis' defense, telling
EXTRA "Clive Davis at 80 is better than 99 percent of the people in the music business in their 20s, 30s and 40s ... and he's not 80 ... [Davis] is the boss of the record company, and it's his job to advise."
