Muslims Free to Have a Good, Good Night

Muslims eager to hear "I Gotta Feeling" for the ten millionth time at a Black Eyed Peas concert in Kuala Lumpur will now get their chance -- the Malaysian government just reversed their decision banning Muslims from the show.

As we previously reported, the Guinness-sponsored Peas concert was previously only open to "non-Muslims aged 18 years and above" -- because Islamic law forbids the consumption of alcohol.

But here's the rub: Even though Guinness is sponsoring the event for their 250th anniversary -- authorities now won't allow the booze giant to sell their delicious stout brew or publicize their logo, this according to the BBC.

So more Peas and less brew ... we're not sure who wins here.

Guinness to Muslims: Stay Away, but Come Party

Muslims have been banned from attending a huge Guinness beer celebration headlined by the Black Eyed Peas later this month in Kuala Lumpur -- and now the beer company is fighting back ... kinda ... sorta ... not really.

The ban stems from an Islamic law prohibiting Muslims from the consumption of alcohol -- and the Malaysian website for the event strictly states "Party is only open to non-Muslims aged 18 years and above." How they will actually enforce it? No clue.

In a statement playing to all sides, Guinness tells TMZ: "The Ministry in Malaysia determines the parameters in which the concert can be handled. We will adhere to whatever the regulations are in the country. If that is their point of view, that's their point of view," but adds "Everybody has a right to go or not go to the concert."

So, hear that Muslims -- You're banned ... but go anyway.

Rihanna Citing "recent events involving Rihanna," event organizers in Malaysia have postponed a concert she was scheduled to perform at this week.

Reps for the show were quick to point out that the concert scheduled for February 13 is not canceled -- but rather Rihanna's people will come up with a make-up date sometime in the next two weeks. The show in Kuala Lumpur drew heavy press after Rihanna agreed to conform with Malaysia's strict rules on performers' outfits.

As we first reported, Rihanna is the victim in an allegedly brutal attack involving boyfriend Chris Brown.
