Snoop Dogg was lookin' like a P.I.M.P. on his way out of L.A.County Superior court yesterday, where talk quickly turned to grass ... as in the green stuff that covers your lawn.
Assault was the case that they gave him -- over an incident back in 2005 where a man got on stage during a concert ... and Snoop allegedly beat the crap out of him.
He's due back in court for another hearing today as jury selection continues for his civil trial.

Somebody get McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney and Kuzak on the phone -- Corbin Bernsen is being sued.
According to a lawsuit filed in L.A. Superior Court, Bernsen signed a lease on a storage unit in Van Nuys, Calif. back in April 2000 for $900/month. The storage company claims he vacated the unit on January 31, 2009, but hadn't paid rent since January 2004. Sum of unpaid rent -- $55,800.
Now get this -- the storage unit company claims Bernsen rented another storage unit in February 1999 for $860/month, which he vacated in February 2009. According to the company, Bernsen hadn't paid rent on that unit since January 2003. Sum of unpaid rent -- $66,600.
Corbin's people tell TMZ they have been in a long-standing dispute with the storage company. His camp feels they haven't held up certain aspects of the lease agreement.
They are seeking the unpaid rent, plus interest and late charges, on both units.

Jamie Foxx has been sued by a guy who got severely injured on a Vodka display and claims his dream to become a brain surgeon has been put on ice.
Here's the lowdown. Foxx hosted a party in 2007 at Social in Hollywood. William Presler says in his lawsuit he was hired to work the bar -- made completely of ice.
In the suit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Presler claims drunk guests dropped their drinks around the bar and glass shattered everywhere. He claims he tried cleaning it up but was told to leave it be. Presler says the manager preferred kicking the glass along the side of the ice bar.
At the end of the party, Presler says he slipped, fell and landed on the shattered glass, severely injuring himself. He needed 170 stitches to repair the damage to the severed nerves in his left hand.
Presler says he obtained a neuroscience degree and was forced to abandon his career to become a brain surgeon due to the damage in his left hand.

They say you can never put a price on love: how's $480,000 a year sound?
TMZ has obtained documents in the Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons divorce case. The docs, filed yesterday in LA Superior Court, say the hip-hip pioneer has to shell out $20k a month -- per daughter!!! -- in child support to Kimora.
And he's got to keep doing so until 2019 for Ming Lee and 2022 for Aoki.
