He started the day in cuffs and an orange jumpsuit -- but Erin Andrews' alleged Peeping Tom, Michael David Barrett, just left jail in his civilian scrubs.
In the photo, which was not taken with a peephole camera, Barrett is seen leaving the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago today after posting $4,500 bail.
During today's hearing, Barrett was ordered to home confinement with electronic monitoring -- but is allowed to leave for work and to go to the doctor. He has a curfew from 9PM to 6AM.
He'll face interstate stalking charges in Los Angeles on October 23.

The man accused of secretly videotaping ESPN reporter Erin Andrews is about to be released from his Chicago jail cell after forking over $4,500 in bail money -- but he ain't exactly a free man.
The suspect -- Michael David Barrett -- appeared before a federal judge in Chicago this morning where he was granted his release with the following list of stipulations:
- He will have to wear an electronic monitoring device.
- Curfew enforced from 9pm to 6am.
- He can go to work and doctor's appointments.
- No Internet access for two weeks.
Barrett was ordered to turn in his passport by tomorrow morning, and he's not allowed to leave Northern Illinois.
The judge said he was releasing Barrett because he doesn't have a criminal record and because his family lives in the area.
Barrett will face interstate stalking charges in Los Angeles on October 23rd.

The alleged creep behind the Erin Andrews Peeping Tom videos arrived at a federal courthouse in Chicago moments ago -- wearing a traditional orange jumpsuit with handcuff accessories to match.
MIchael David Barrett -- who was arrested Friday at Chicago O'Hare International Airport -- has been charged with the federal crime of felony stalking.

UPDATE 11:25 AM PT: The judge just set a curfew for Barrett from 9 PM to 6 AM. Barrett is allowed to go to work and the doctor, if needed.
Barrett has to turn in his passport by tomorrow morning -- and his travel is restricted to northern Illinois ... except for when he as to travel to California for the case.
The prosecution says there are allegedly more video of different women on Barrett's hard drive.
