The man accused of secretly videotaping ESPN reporter Erin Andrews is about to be released from his Chicago jail cell after forking over $4,500 in bail money -- but he ain't exactly a free man.
The suspect -- Michael David Barrett -- appeared before a federal judge in Chicago this morning where he was granted his release with the following list of stipulations:
- He will have to wear an electronic monitoring device. - Curfew enforced from 9pm to 6am. - He can go to work and doctor's appointments. - No Internet access for two weeks.
Barrett was ordered to turn in his passport by tomorrow morning, and he's not allowed to leave Northern Illinois.
The judge said he was releasing Barrett because he doesn't have a criminal record and because his family lives in the area.
Barrett will face interstate stalking charges in Los Angeles on October 23rd.
The pantie filled pictures poured into the TMZ newsroom for the Little Lingerie Contest and the pictures are revealing to say the least -- so consider yourself warned!
**Be sure to check back on Monday to help decide which near naked picture will score the $250 prize and some great gifts from TMZ!**
TMZ found another shot of that potentially panty-less pirouette-er from "So You Think You Can Dance" -- and now we agree with Nigel ... that there was just "a crease" in her flesh-colored unmentionables.
In this town, naked tapes aren't exactly career killers -- but when Erin Andrews'Peeping Tom footage leaked online, she says all she could do was call her parents and scream "I'm done, my career is over!"
The exploited ESPN sportscaster -- who was filmed naked in her hotel room without her knowledge -- did her first and only interview about the incident today with Oprah. She says she's now "paranoid" and constantly feels like she's being filmed.
Andrews also told O that the visit to Chicago was the first time since the incident she'd been solo in a hotel room.
Vanessa Hudgens shot Dane Cook the "Look of Death" at the Teen Choice Awards after he tried to crack a joke about her nude pix -- but unlike those photos, the viewers at home didn't get to see this one.
Cook's "joke" got the chop from last night's telecast -- but luckily, MTV got their grubby little mitts on the original, uncut moment.
Vanessa Hudgens is on the warpath against websites that are publishing nude pics of her -- and she's leaving open the possibility of filing criminal charges -- sources tell TMZ.
The pics have been pitched to various sites, including TMZ -- we turned them down. Several websites have published the photos, taken by Vanessa herself in her home. Vanessa's lawyer says the pics were taken when she was underage. As such, publication could be a federal crime.
Sources tell us Vanessa uploaded the pics into her computer and she could be the victim of a hacker. Her lawyer says Vanessa had absolutely nothing to do with the dissemination of the photos.
The lawyer has sent cease and desist letters to various websites that have published the photos, asserting the publication is both a crime and a violation of her right of privacy.
ESPN apparently took our story yesterday to heart ... that the peeping Tom who drilled holes in the walls of at least two hotels to sneak shots of a naked Erin Andrews may have been part of her production.
ESPN has released the following obtuse yet telling statement:
"In conjunction with Erin's attorneys and appropriate authorities, we are exploring all possibilities."
As we told you yesterday, six video clips show the ESPN reporter walking around naked in two different hotel rooms and there is evidence the culprit was familiar with Erin's travel schedule as well as her accommodations.
UPDATE 9:40 AM ET: Apparently the deal has been closed, because celebhotline.com has pics of what looks like the video on its site.
Spotted ... "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester having sex with her BF... on video.
We've learned a Meester tape is being shopped around town. It was shot a few years back, and shows Leighton in mostly innocuous though nude scenes -- with several big exceptions ... one involving her very talented feet.
We're told a company called celebhotline.com is negotiating for the video. The company's spokesperson, Kevin Blatt told us, "We've seen the tape and we're hoping to close the deal."
We contacted Leighton's rep but so far ... no comment.
Carrie Prejean must have a really, really bad memory -- because TMZ uncovered a brand new set of topless photos "biblically correct" Miss California took before she applied for the crown.
These pics were taken just last year -- meaning Carrie was the ripe ol' LEGAL age of 20.
This time, Carrie dropped her top for a professional photo shoot ... another partially nude gig that she forgot to tell the Miss Californiaofficials about. Donald Trump will decide today whether or not he'll give Carrie the heave ho.
UPDATE: At today's presser, Trump let Carrie keep her crown.
The first person you'd suspect of posting those supposed naked Rihanna photos is already denying it -- Chris Brown's peeps released the following statement to Essence.com:
"This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris has not released or 'leaked' any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter)."
Still no word on the authenticity of those pics, but Rihanna's peeps have already sent a letter to a website demanding they pull them from the web.
Rihanna's camp is firing off the first response to nude pictures, allegedly of Rihanna, that hit the internet today.
TMZ has learned the legal department at Island Def Jam Music Group, RiRi's label, sent a letter to at least one website that published the photos. The letter refers to "unauthorized photos purported to be...Rihanna," demands that the photos be removed from the site, and calls the photos a violation of "the Artist's rights."
It's not clear whether Rihanna really is the woman in the buff because you can't see her face in the nude shots. She is clearly pictured in two fully clothed pics.
Interestingly, the letter from Island Def Jam does not deny (or confirm) if it's really Rihanna.
