Usually it's Paris Hilton making an ass of the family name -- but this weekend in Vegas, Nicky took that honor upon herself.

Nicky Hilton -- Battery Victim
We've learned Nicky Hilton was an alleged battery victim yesterday and the suspect was arrested.
It happened at 5:00 AM outside the IHOP in West Hollywood. Law enforcement sources tell us a male transient pushed her to the ground. Nicky got up and promptly made a citizen's arrest. Someone called the cops and the suspect was arrested.
She was not injured.
UPDATE: We just found out Nicky herself held the assailant at bay while the cops came. So Nicky is an enforcer! And, when the cops came, the delusional dude claimed he was her BF.

Nicky & Paris' Fashion Faux Pas
There's nothing quite like sitting in the front row of a runway show at NY Fashion Week ... and catching up on your electronic correspondence.
Even with "Top Model" hunk Nigel Barker sitting at their side and a model prancing before them, Nicky and Paris Hilton kept their concentration and successfully ignored the Pamella Roland Fall 2009 fashion show on Tuesday.
Hopefully, later in the day, someone will text them what happened.

Sheriff Should Have Belted Paris
A Los Angeles County Sheriff helped protect Paris Hilton from paps last night -- but didn't do anything to save her from herself.
The deputy ordered paps to back away from Hilton's waiting ride, but after clearing the way -- he said nada when Paris and her entourage piled into the back seat -- sitting on each other's laps sans seat belts. Seems this has happened before.

The night didn't end when the club closed -- Shifty hosted an after-hours party that didn't even start until 3:00 AM!
