Britney Wanted for "Sordid Lives"
Award-winning writer/director Del Shores wants Britney so badly for his new series, "Sordid Lives," he went looking for her himself!
Unable to reach Britney through her "people," Del and actor Jason Dottley (who'll play Ty Williamson) showed up at Millennium Dance Studios in North Hollywood yesterday, where Britney was supposed to be auditioning dancers for her next tour. Del says he's got a great part for Britney in the show, and since they're shooting in her native Louisiana, she'd be perfect!

Oh Sandy, Baby!
Olivia Newton-John was hopelessly devoted to pecs, abs and biceps when she checked out the Chippendales show at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday.
After the male burlesque performance, the "Grease" star was swarmed by an army of shirtless hunky dancers. Hey fellas, you're all the ones that she wants!
With all that greased lightning in the room, it seems Olivia really was born to hand jive.

Olivia Newton John to Universal -- Grease Me!
Olivia Newton John claims the people behind the "Grease" soundtrack intentionally screwed her out of more than $1 million in royalties. Now she's asking a judge to force Universal Music Group to fork over the dough!
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the "world-famous recording artist" claims Universal "refused to pay more than $1 million" and has "offered no justification for its failure to do so," even after Olivia claims she provided them with specific proof of the shortfall. John also claims that Universal has invaded her right to privacy by using her "name, likeness and personality" to sell the "Grease" soundtrack.
The album, which features a picture of ON-J on the cover, includes hits like "Summer Nights" and "You're The One That I Want."
In addition to the million clams, the Aussie thrush is seeking punitive damages. Ka-ching --chang changitty chang shoobop.

"Grease" Is STILL the Word (After All These Years)
The Santa Monica Pier was transformed Tuesday night into a drive-In straight out of the 1950s to celebrate the re-release of the legendary movie "Grease." TMZ cameras rolled as the original cast came out to show their support to all the fans, young and old. Fans in attendance got a special treat when Sha Na Na performed classic hits live like "At the Hop."
So how does Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson look after this many years? Um... it seems as if John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John had other plans and were not able to attend.

A visor believed to belong to Patrick McDermott, the boyfriend of songstress Olivia Newton-John who has been missing for nearly a year, has been obtained by famed Hollywood private eye John Nazarian on special investigative assignment for "EXTRA." The visor, along with the eyewitness testimony of six people in and around Cabo San Lucas, may provide potential evidence that McDermott may in fact still be alive.
