P. Diddy handpicked Day 26 in Season 4 of "Making the Band" -- and now they're being accused of handpicking one of their new songs straight from someone else's album!
In a copyright infringement notice fired off to Bad Boy Records -- the company ran and founded by Diddy -- singer Kirby Shields alleges his song "I'm Just Getting Started" is "identical" to Day 26's "Just Getting Started," released in April.
And here's the rub: Shields says the copycat track was produced by Christian Davis Stalnecker, the same producer he hired to work "exclusively" for him back in '07.
By the looks of this sexy photo of P. Diddy showing off some stem skin, it's likely he doesn't have a single hair south of the soul patch stuck to his chin.
For all those betting on today's Orange Bowl, there's now a wild card... and his name is Diddy.
Brian Kelly, coach for the Cincinnati Bearcats, moved the team from the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach because P. Diddy and Co. were throwing a huge NYE bash at LIV nightclub there and the coach felt it would be one giant distraction.
We're checking to see if Virginia Tech footed Diddy's bill.
A fragrance company that markets a product labeled "I Am" has been feuding with Diddy over the name of his new cologne "I Am King." According to court documents, Danica Aromatics has been threatening legal action against Sean Jean Fragrances since the launch of "I Am King," claiming that the similar names will confuse consumers.
Since Danica Aromatics hadn't yet filed a lawsuit, Diddy decided to beat them to the punch -- and launched the suit to ask a judge to establish that his company doesn't conflict with them, in hopes that there will be no lawsuits by the company later.
Diddy doesn't just run the city -- he runs the playground, too! The music mogul was at a Beverly Hills park with his 18-month-old twin daughters yesterday, getting his quality time in.
He's probably already planning their first hit single.
As if L.A. wasn't crazy enough, here comes Diddy -- and he's ready to act full-time. Seriously.
He tells All Hip Hop.com, "I'm out here [in Hollywood] looking for houses now. I'm going to officially be bicoastal. I feel like in order to make movies, you gotta be where they are being made." Take that, take that!
Diddy goes on to say, "I could bring people to the box office and put people in seats as I make this transition." But the real question is: what director is going to have to get his cheesecake?
Smackdown? What smackdown? Sources tell TMZ that P. Diddy and Steven Acevedo -- that guy he supposedly slugged last Saturday -- have actually been friends for 13 years, and that they worked out their differences last night, sitting at the same table at Butter! What's more, their little dust-up definitely wasn't over a woman, we've learned.
Rap Mogul/serial baby daddy Sean "P. Diddy" Combs got into yet another confrontation yesterday -- this time, allegedly over a woman. According to sources, Combs was partying at NYC club Kiosk when he got into an argument with another partygoer, Steven Acevedo.
According to Page Six, the two exchanged words, and then His Diddyness allegedly hit Acevedo in the face while screaming, "I'll kill you, punk."
Acevedo ended up with a bloody nose and a fat lip. He reportedly ran home and called 911 to file a police report, but later declined to comment.
Diddy has not been arrested or charged. The NYPD had no information on the incident.
T.I. Wins Two Awards Amid Controversy
He was busted for buying guns yesterday, but that didn't stop allegedly gun-crazy rapper T.I. from winning two awards at BET Hip Hop Awards last night. The troubled southern rapper was up for nine awards, and even though he didn't strut the red carpet, he was in attendance for last night's show.
News of T.I.'s gun drama rippled through the awards show. Said rapper KRS-One, "I'm saddened any time I hear of a hip-hopper being locked up or somehow being stunted in his life or his growth. I hope he wasn't into nothing crazy."
Common, who won CD of the year along with T.I. -- dedicated his win to T.I. "I salute my guy T.I., who also won, wherever he is," he said.

The non-stop VMA Vegas partying continued last night with Diddy throwing a bash at LAX nightclub at Luxor. An amped Diddy played MC on the microphone as he donned a crown -- this man is so modest! Paris Hilton just stood by the CEO like a trophy wife -- as he went on and on ... and on! Chatty Diddy!
Everyone knows the music mogul loves to hear himself talk, but does he have to torture club goers with his endless jibberjab?!
Celebs are flocking to Vegas for the VMAs, and Diddy started his partying with some impromptu MCing at PURE at Caesars Palace. The self-proclaimed "Bad Boy for Life" told the party people, "If you like sex -- make some noise!" Surprise, everyone yelled. Diddy knows his audience.
Then the night-time-sunglasses-wearing pretender performer proceeded to hand out glasses of champagne to the people below -- who weren't cool enough to get into the VIP area. Also spotted hanging with Diddy: R&B crooner Ray J -- and his ex, badonkakrazy Kim Kardashian, who was seen shaking her major asset. Was that a quake? Were they together?
Partymeister Brody Jenner and other socialebrities were also gettin' their party on. Diddy proceeded to yell and garble things into the mic. Who cares what you're saying when you're in Vegas anyway?! Who's listening?!

Diva Aubrey O'Day found herself in a heap of trouble last week when she all but flat-out admitted to TMZ that she was leaving P. Diddy-created "supergroup" Danity Kane for a better gig with the Pussycat Dolls. Now she's done a 180, and loudly reaffirmed her love for DK!
TMZ's camera's caught O'Day knockin' on DK and Diddy last week, with O'Day saying that she "hasn't looked at [Diddy] for more than ten minutes" and that she didn't know what was up with a second DK album. That's a harsh 'tude from a reality TV pop tart!
In response to the damaging video, the ever-talkative O'Day released the following statement:
Once again I would like to put to rest absurd rumors. I love being a member of Danity Kane and have always been down with DK musically. I'm looking forward to a second DK album and I totally support all members of DK in all of their endeavors.
