R. Kelly Pee'd Off over Scam Allegations

R. Kelly has been dragged into a massive investigation in South Africa -- but the singer claims he's the victim of a grifter gone mad.

It all started when a woman accused of scamming more than 50 people out of tons of money claimed Kelly played a part in the plot.

She allegedly conned her victims into investing money in an R. Kelly tour that never existed. The woman reportedly says she deposited the money into Kelly's bank account.

She's been charged with more than 60 counts of fraud -- and Kelly is wanted for questioning.

Kelly is vehemently denying involvement -- his publicist said:

"The woman has no connection at all with R. Kelly. This is just some con woman who swindled a bunch of people out of money. R. Kelly had no knowledge of this, he's just as upset as anyone."

PO'ed P.I. Sues R. Kelly

R. KellyThat pesky child porno case is rearing its ugly head again for R. Kelly.

Kelly is being sued by a private investigator who claims the singer stiffed him on a $300,000 bill. According to a lawsuit filed last week in Missouri federal court, Charles Freeman claims he was hired during Kelly's trial to "obtain and/or recover certain tapes that were said to incriminate" R. Kelly.

Freeman said he did the job, but never got paid. He's suing for damages plus interests and costs.

Kelly was found not guilty on all counts.

R. Kelly -- Free to Pee on Whomever

Fathers, lock up your daughters: R. Kelly is now officially a free man.

His lawyers announced yesterday Kells and his wife of 11 years, Andrea Lee, have split for good, and among other things, will share custody of their three kids. The couple filed for the big D in 2006, and Andrea had filed an emergency protective order back in 2005 against R., which she ultimately pulled.

Kelly was acquitted of child porn charges last summer.

R. Kelly -- I'm Into Barely Legal Babes Now

R. Kelly was put on the spot on BET last night about his affinity for underage girls -- and even though he was married to Aaliyah when she was only 15, the guy says his tastes have matured. Kinda.

Kelly was acquitted on fourteen counts of child pornography back in June.

Kelly to Club: Don't Piss on My Image!

Exonerated urinator R. Kelly is dripping with anger after a nightclub allegedly used his name and image to promote an event -- without ever getting Kelly's Hancock on a contract!

In a lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, R. claims two promoters for Sugar nightclub stamped his name and face on a bunch of fliers "falsely advertising" that Kelly was set to host one of their parties. Kelly says he knew nothing about it -- so it's time to sue their pants off.

And how's this for some fun legal jargon: In the suit, Kelly states he's is seeking enough relief (cash) to "stop defendants' ... disgorgement of ill-gotten gains." Good word.

No specific amount is listed.

Kelly Snitch Says R.'s Peeps Wanted Her Dead

One of R. Kelly's henchmen threatened to knock off the state's star witness in his kiddie-porn trial, according to just-unsealed docs.

Lisa Van Allen, the woman who said she had sex with Kelly and the alleged victim in the case, claimed in pretrial docs that an "employee" of R. Kelly said she should've been killed for tattling on the pisstastic singer. No charges were ever filed, and Kelly was acquitted last week of all the child-porn charges.

Van Allen also revealed that she was paid $100K for a tape of her and another allegedly underage girl by an associate of R. Kelly.

R. Kelly Wept Like a Baby

Although R. Kelly hightailed it out of the courtroom right after he was acquitted on child porn charges today, his lawyers hung around long enough to out their client as a cry baby.

R. Kelly Jurors: No Doubt It's Him on the Tape

Even though jurors in the trial of R. Kelly absolutely believed it was him on the tape, they could not reach a guilty verdict because they said there was "not enough evidence to prosecute." Huh?!

Five of the twelve jurors met with reporters immediately after handing down the acquittal. They said they just couldn't reach a verdict even though they voted on the hour, every hour because the alleged victim hadn't testified and refused to cooperate. As recently as this morning, we're told, the vote was split nine to three for a not guilty verdict.

The jurors were also "absolutely disgusted" with the tape. Unlike the bootleg version you can buy on the street corner, the version they got to watch was "clear as day."

We're hearing R. Kelly will be partying it up tonight in Chicago.

R. Kelly Not Guilty -- Urine the Clear!

A jury has found R. Kelly not guilty!

A jury acquitted the singer of all fourteen counts of child pornography.

The "Bump and Grind" singer was first charged six years ago after the kinky sex tape surfaced allegedly featuring him having sex -- among other things -- with a girl who was as young as 13 at the time.

Kelly had long denied being on the video tape -- and even the alleged victim said it wasn't her.

Even the Jurors Are Sick of R. Kelly Trial

Isn't this thing over already?

There are already signs of trouble in the R. Kelly jury room. After only three hours of deliberations, one juror sent a note to the judge asking, "How can I be removed and go home? I really need to."

And last night another juror freaked out and started cursing and banging a bottle on the table because he didn't get his dinner on time. He was allowed to stay on the panel after other jurors told the judge they could continue working with him.

We're now in day two of deliberations -- a verdict could come down at any moment.

Uncle Love: I Was R. Kelly's Dance Whiz

A guy who calls himself "Uncle Henry Love" says that he taught R. Kelly everything he knows -- well, almost everything.

Henry Vaughn sued Kelly yesterday in Cook County for jacking his "steppin'" dance moves, which Vaughn says he gave to Kelly to make him seem more mature and less pervy.

Given that a jury is about to decide his fate in a kiddie-porn trial, like, today, we're guessing -- it didn't work so well. R.'s rep calls the suit "ridiculous."

Witness -- R. Kelly Loves the Hardwood

That bombshell witness finally took the stand in the R. Kelly kiddie-porn trial -- and she said he's a baller!

Lisa Van Allen testified she and the Prince of Pee got down and dirty on film with the alleged victim on his personal b-ball court in Chicago when she was only 17, and she added that they did it in his log cabin-ish basement.

Of course, Van Allen's testimony took a big blow when she revealed that she sold the tape they made back to R.'s business manager for $20K. The defense gets its turn today.

R. Creepy Creepiness Gets Creepier

R. KellyR. Kelly just can't have a normal week -- ever! Maxine Daniels, the 21-year-old who had a four-month relationship with Kelly recently (that is, until her parents found out), says that they've actually known each other since she was 7 ... and he was 27! Real ick!

Maxine's swinging back, telling the Chicago Sun-Times that R.'s statement to TMZ last week was an attempt to defame her father and step-mother. She adds, "I was swept up by his charming and generous ways, which I truly regret and have learned from."

Her step-mom Regina also adds that her family's motives are not financial. "I never contacted R. Kelly or attempted to contact R. Kelly or anyone in his camp regarding any money or any financial settlement or severance."

Wonder what the platinum pisser has to say about this one?! There's no comment from his camp as yet.

R. Kelly Snaps Back at Accusations!

R. KellyAn R. Kelly spokesman has issued the following exclusive statement to TMZ regarding accusations that Kelly had an inappropriate relationship with his former publicist's daughter:

"It's hard to take seriously the moral outrage expressed by George and Regina Daniels over R. Kelly's relationship with Mr. Daniels' adult daughter, Maxine. The fact is that they had no problem with the relationship -- indeed, they encouraged it -- while Ms. Daniels was on Mr. Kelly's payroll.

It was Regina Daniels, then working as a publicist for Mr. Kelly, who persuaded him to attend her step-daughter's 21st birthday party. And it was Regina Daniels who shortly thereafter gave her step-daughter Mr. Kelly's private phone number, with the admonition: 'Don't tell your father.' It was only after Ms. Daniels resigned her position to avoid being fired for incompetence that her stepdaughter's relationship suddenly became an issue for her and her husband."
