TMZ has learned Heidi Klum was officially docked a few precious sexy points today -- because she just had her last name legally changed from "Klum" to "Samuel."
The Victoria's Secret supermodel filed papers early last month asking permission to take on the last name of her husband, Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adelo Samuel -- she was finally given the okay today.
It could have been worse ... she could have changed her name to Heidi Olusegun.

All Heidi Klum wanted was to help her hubby Seal strap their kids in their car seats -- but what she got was a nasty order to "Get in the car!"
He could have just been trying to get her away from the paps, but it came across a little rude to us. So we gotta ask ...

"Project Runway" is unable to catwalk its way to Lifetime TV, thanks to a judge's ruling Friday that keeps the show under NBC Universal's suede leggings -- for now.
Problems started when NBC claimed the Weinstein Co. -- which produces the show -- made a $150 million deal with Lifetime. That move would remove the show from NBC's Bravo channel. NBC claims their "right of first refusal" for the show was violated.
All involved are set to return to court Oct. 15.

Little Henry may be as cute as his mom Heidi Klum, but his temper is all compliments of daddy dearest Seal.
The two-year-old tyke threw a fit while out with his mom and siblings in NYC on Tuesday. If you think he's angry now, just wait until his pop teaches him how to drive!

According to Seal, there's only room in Hollywood for one fathead -- himself.
In an attempt to make a point to the paparazzi, Mr. Klum picked up a camera and went to the Malibu Country Mart -- where he told one photog who aspires to be an actor that he's too heavy to become a bigshot.
Apparently, he's never heard of Marlon Brando.

While in NYC on Monday, Heidi Klum was snapped sportin' a tattoo of her speed demon husband's name, Seal, etched into her arm.
Is there anything classier than a gorgeous woman in a gown -- and an exposed tattoo?!

Seal's got a combative past with the paps -- but throw a bunch of screaming women around him and he's suddenly a much friendlier person.
Though he gave an autograph seeker the kiss-off when he arrived to DC -- calling the guy a "cockroach" -- Mr. Heidi Klum was all about kissing on some female fans later that evening. Beware the wrath of Heidi!
