Brett Favre Got Extra Protection in Green Bay

Brett Favre used to be the king of Green Bay -- before he signed with the Packers' arch rivals -- now the legendary quarterback is using extra security just to get around the bitter town he left.

TMZ has learned the Minnesota Vikings beefed up their security for Favre's super-hyped up return to Lambeau Field yesterday -- even providing a special team of private security officers "specifically assigned" to protect Brett.

We spoke with a Vikings spokesperson who told us, "I can confirm that we did have extra security in place throughout the trip, including at the hotel Saturday night and at the stadium yesterday.

Taking the necessary precautions to protect our players on any road trip is always a priority of the team, and this situation was no exception.
"

Translation: A lot of people don't like Brett in Green Bay -- the city he played in for 16 years.

The Vikes protected Favre on the field too -- Brett threw 4 TDs as the Vikes crushed the Pack 38-26.

DMX Goes Ballistic at Charity Concert

He was late ... to a very important date ... and when he arrived, DMX went nuclear on security guards who wouldn't allow him perform at a charity event this weekend.

The rapper got into a screaming match with security when he arrived to a Colorado Springs concert nearly 90 minutes after security was told he was scheduled to perform. In the video, both sides can be seen going off on each other.

X, his bodyguards and fans eventually got into a shoving match with security in front of the stage, while the crowd -- who had already been told he wasn't going to show -- chanted "DMX! DMX!"

He eventually got on stage -- but the sound system was reportedly turned off so he couldn't perform.

Only DMX could turn a charity event into a melee.

Jackson's Tomb -- The Changing of the Guards

Michael JacksonFor several weeks, Michael Jackson's tomb at Forest Lawn Memorial Park was under maximum, 'round-the-clock security -- but TMZ has now learned the extra protection has been "scaled back."

Sources tell us the mausoleum that houses Jackson's body was being monitored by a private security firm, hired specifically to protect MJ's grave -- but as of last week, the extra protection was nowhere to be seen.

Sources at Forest Lawn confirm the security change, but insist Jackson's resting place will still be under the constant watch of their guards, 24-hour cameras, alarms, etc.

Reps at the cemetery also mentioned there hasn't been a single suspicious incident since Jackson moved into the neighborhood.

Vinnie Jones Found Not Guilty

Vinnie Jones was just found not guilty of three simple assaults in a Sioux Falls, SD courtroom, stemming from last year's crazy, bloody bar-room brawl.

Vinnie Jones: Click to watch
Jones was arrested back in December after security footage showed the actor attacking a man near the restroom of a local bar -- right after another guy smashed a beer mug in his face in a different tussle.

Vinnie testified earlier today, saying he was "driven by fear" during the fight.

UPDATE: Outside court, Vinnie told reporters he took the stand to "tell it how it was" and was confident "the jury would do the right thing."

A Fashion Crash Landing at the Airport

Courtney Love, Madonna and Mischa Barton all took to the sky this weekend, but we're not sure how these famous ladies made it past airport security wearing their not-so-stylish digs.

We understand the importance of traveling in comfort, but if you know photographers are going to be following your every move, sometimes a quick glance in the mirror on the way out of the house goes a long way.

Shiloh Hits the Streets

Just like her famous parents, the camera seems to love Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

Brad and Angelina's beautiful $4 million baby was caught smiling on a stroll with her mother on a sunny day in India earlier this week. Angie clutched her child close to her chest on the walk, keeping her body covered in a sheet, though Shiloh managed to peek her head out just enough for the world to catch a glimpse of her face. For added protection, a guard ushered her through the crowd of curious onlookers the entire way.

As for the rest of the fam, Maddox and Zahara kept a close eye on their sister while trailing just a few steps behind mom.
