Carrie Prejean will finally get to enjoy some alone time tonight ... TMZ has learned the "biblically correct" crusader for "opposite marriage" has been mysteriously removed from an ultra-conservative event in NJ.
Carrie was all set to speak at an event called "Defenders of the Family" ... but after word got out that she sinned with herself in a solo sex tape, Carrie has since been removed from the schedule.
A spokesman for the New Jersey Family Policy Council wouldn't say if they canceled or if Carrie did... but Prejean was still a go just yesterday.
Attempts to reach Carrie's reps were unsuccessful.
Carrie Prejean -- the dethroned Miss California USA -- is in meltdown mode because of a solo sex tape.
Prejean -- who made headlines for her stand against gay marriage and her strong ties to fundamentalist religion -- is supposed to appear on "Today" next week to push her new book.. "Today" producers have called TMZ, making it clear the interview has changed and they want details on the sex tape.
TMZ has also received calls from CNN, FOX and various other outlets asking for info.
The reason they're all calling TMZ -- we obtained the tape several months ago but decided not to run it because it was too racy.
As we first reported, Prejean and Miss California USA officials had sued each other and were in settlement talks last week. Sources tell us Prejean was demanding more than $1 million but when Pageant officials showed her they had a copy of the tape, it took less than a minute for Prejean to fold and walk away with nothing in her pocket.
Prejean had sued the Pageant for allegedly firing her because of her beliefs and disclosing confidential information about her -- including her breast implants. The Pageant countersued, claiming Prejean had repeatedly violated the terms of being Miss Cali USA.
The reason the tape became such a smoking gun -- under Pageant rules, all contestants signed forms that gave assurance they had no nude videos or pictures in their past.
Chris Jericho Slurs Speech
WWE star Chris Jericho is wrestling with a pretty serious controversy -- after he made a slew of offensive slurs against Middle Easterners and gays.
Jericho was at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival two weeks ago ... for a screening of a movie in which he appears. During a Q&A session, Jericho referred to the moderator several times as "Hadji" -- a term sometimes used as a racial slur against Middle Easterners.
After the first wave of slurs -- and a random shot at Paris Hilton -- the host jokingly takes Jericho's drink to sniff it for booze, when Chris chimes back, "it's apple juice ... fag."
Jericho tells TMZ, "After seeing the video I realize some inappropriate comments were made and I apologize if I offended anybody." Jericho continues, "Just know that everyone on stage was having a blast and we all shared a drink and a laugh after! The good news is I got my wish of being posted on TMZ."
Yes you did, Chris.

Nothing can stop Shauna Sand's sex tape from hitting the shelves now -- and it's all because Shauna has finally given the XXX flick her Lucite stamp of approval.
Steven Hirsch, the co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, brought in a handwriting expert to prove Shauna had in fact signed off on the tape -- and after meeting with her on Thursday, he says she's withdrawn the cease and desist letter her lawyer sent Vivid earlier this month.
Hirsch says Shauna's reason for withdrawing the letter was because a lawsuit could prove "long and expensive." Riiiiiiiight.
The sex tape starring Shauna Sand is being delayed a week -- and it all has to do with whether or not Shauna signed on the dotted line.
Vivid Entertainment says it plans to counter Shauna's cease and desist letter by bringing in a handwriting expert to prove the release they have is authentic. Fun fact: if it is, it could be the only thing about Shauna that is truly authentic.
No word on how long it will take the handwriting expert to draw a conclusion -- but how hard can it be to analyze an X?
Shauna Sand is not in the business of selling sex tapes -- just making them -- and now the former Mrs. Lorenzo Lamas has lawyered up to block the sale of her most recent work.
Shauna's lawyer, Brooks Holcomb (that's not his porn name), has fired off a letter to Steve Hirsch, Prez of Vivid Entertainment, demanding that he "cease and desist" from hawking the video of Shauna and her most recent BF having sex.
Holcomb claims the tape was "not created or intended for sale or public distribution."
And the lawyer is asking Vivid to ante up "written proof" that it has authority to release it. Shauna says she never gave permission.
She's slept with a lot of people -- a LOT of people -- but Shauna Sand claims she's definitely not a notch on her stepson's belt ... despite what her ex-husband's reality show may lead some to believe.
Sand claims the first episode of "Leave it to Lamas" was based around a "lie" that she knocked boots with Lorenzo's son. A.J. But Shauna says it never, ever happened, and released the following statement:
"It turned out the whole first episode of "Leave it to Lamas" revolved around a lie that the Lamas family concocted about me sleeping with my step-son A.J.
It is absolutely untrue and I'm sick of being used and ridiculed by this family for the benefit of their show. "
So there you have it -- the one man who hasn't slept with Shauna Sand.
Shayne Lamas -- Lorenzo Lamas's daughter -- is knocking her former step mother, Shauna Sand, for her staring role in sex tape coming to your video store soon.
Shayne -- who not-so-shockingly believes Shauna's XXX tape was a calculated move -- also expresses worry for her three half-sisters by saying:
"Isn't that convenient that her tape just happened to be leaked the day after my show premiered. I just feel bad for my little sisters."
TMZ has learned Lorenzo Lamas went absolutely ballistic on Shauna Sand this morning -- unloading a verbal assault on his baby mama over her sex tape ... but unlike the porn, it was Shauna who got the happy ending in this story.
It all went down at Lorenzo's house -- after Shauna dropped off their three young daughters, per the former couple's custody agreement. Sand tells TMZ Lorenzo was furious over the existence of the sex tape -- and Shauna was extremely worried that the "Renegade" star would wage a legal fight to get sole custody of the kids.
But Sand claims he eventually calmed down, told Shauna that she was a good mom -- and promised not to battle her for custody. To prove it, Sand says Lamas grabbed a pen and a sheet of paper ... and drafted the following statement: I, Lorenzo Lamas, will not seek custody of my minor children with Shauna Sand.
Even in the event of a release of a sex tape with her and her boyfriend.
Shauna Sand is in a war over a hardcore sex tape that's about to be released -- but her defense is almost as revealing as the tape itself.
TMZ has learned Vivid Entertainment has acquired the tape -- featuring Sand and her Miami boyfriend -- and plans to release it on October 19. But not without a fight from Shauna.
Sand just told us, "Yes I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year. In fact I've made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn't sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now."
But Vivid founder Steven Hirsch says he's legally entitled to hawk the tape, saying, "We were approached by a third party, who brought us footage of Shauna having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it ... We're comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage."
No word from Lorenzo Lamas so far on how he feels about the mother of his three daughters gettin' down on tape.
He's only a puppy -- but Kari Ann Peniche's 18-month-old doggie may have already had a dangerous brush with cocaine.
It all went down back in July -- back before Kari Ann's naked threesome tape surfaced with Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart. Peniche's house sitter noticed her Pekingese puppy "Buster" began to vomit, experience diarrhea, and twitch uncontrollably.
Kari Ann had a house sitter because she was shooting Dr. Drew's "Sober House" at the time. When she found out her pooch was in distress, she immediately left the rehab facility and rushed home to take him to the vet .
According to the veterinary report obtained by TMZ, Kari Ann told the doc Buster may have been exposed to Xanax, cocaine, methamphetamine or other unknown drugs.
So how would Kari Ann know about Buster's exposure to drugs? It's a mystery. What we do know is that Mindy McCready was living in the house at the time. Mindy told us, "I've never hurt an animal and I don't do any drugs." For the record, Mindy pled guilty in 2004 for using a fake prescription to buy OxyContin.
After the vet ran tests, it was determined Buster was suffering from "unknown toxin/drug exposure." But don't worry, Buster was treated and eventually recovered.
The other girl in the bizarro 3-person naked romp vid with Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart wants everyone to know she was "just having fun with my friends."
Last night at a gas station in West Hollywood, a clothed Kari Ann Peniche told us she's unsure if she'll be taking legal action against her former roommate/singer Mindy McCready -- who Peniche claims stole the tape from their apartment after a dispute over money.
Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart did not have sex with Kari Ann Peniche -- but according to Peniche, they had plenty of fun.
Kari Ann -- a dethroned Miss United States Teen -- tells TMZ the video featuring the whacked-out naked trio was shot more than two years ago in her apartment. Kari Ann insists there was absolutely no sex involved -- they played dress up and the two women then soaked together in a bathtub as Eric called "action" behind the camera.
In the video, Gayheart says her "alter-ego" name is "Nina," Kari's is "Fifi" and Dane goes by "Peter," "Cocaine Manor," "Tristan Daily," and "Tuff Hedeman," a famous bull rider.
Kari Ann says the video was stored on the hard drive of her computer, but stolen by Mindy McCready, who was her roommate after the two completed a stint on the TV show "Celebrity Rehab." Kari Ann says she got into an argument with McCready over money and believes the singer took her hard drive when she moved out. Kari Ann freaked out about certain personal information about her on the hard drive and filed a stolen property report with the LAPD.
Last month there was a summit between Eric, Rebecca, Kari Ann and Mindy. Their reps hammered out a deal as to who got what on the hard drive. Eric got full rights to the video and everyone assumed that was that ... until the tape surfaced on the Internet yesterday.
