Conan O'Brien was injured while filming a skit for his show this afternoon and was unable to continue taping, this according to a rep from NBC.
Here's the statement from NBC, which includes a quote from Conan:
"Tonight, NBC will broadcast a repeat of 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.' Conan hit his head doing a stunt and the show was not finished.
Conan O'Brien added, "Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice."

Jermaine Jackson made it appear that he pushed back the date for the Michael Jackson tribute concert so big artists could clear their schedule and appear -- but here's something you probably didn't see.

On the official website for the concert, if you go to the jump page with all the legal mumbo jumbo ... it takes back everything Jermaine seems to have promised.
Here's a quote straight from the website:
"This website does not intend to convey the impression that the artists and personalities depicted here within have agreed to participate in the said event in any way, shape or form."
The legal statement has been up on the website since the beginning ... even though the front page of the site (which has since been changed) clearly stated Chris Brown, Natalie Cole and Mary J. Blige were "confirmed to appear at the tribute."
So if you buy tickets to Jermaine's tribute concert in London, a word of caution ... read the fine print.

Imagine if the Angels were a bit more masculine, a whole lot trampier and spoke English as a second language. That's just what you get -- in this South of the border version called "Chico's Angels."
The stars, Kay Sedia, Chita Parole and Frieda Lay, started their live show in a small basement theatre of Los Angeles Mexican restaurant Casita del Campo in Silver Lake. The shows have become a local cult favorite and received rave reviews from L.A. critics. Now the loca girls gone wild have their own movie trailer ... but no movie! Check out the trailer. Es muy caliente! Ay!

Jessica Simpson gave a less than stellar performance in tribute to her idol, Dolly Parton, at this month's Kennedy Center Honors, flubbing the words to "9 to 5."
Simpson says her nerves got the best of her during the star-studded D.C. event, resulting in her fouling up the song. After the show, an upset Jess was given a second chance to sing it -- with the results apparently unsatisfactory. Simpson has now had the flopped number completely cut from the telecast.
As TMZ first reported, Mama Simpson gave Jessica a verbal bitchslap as she exited the stage during the live show.
Simpson's rep, Cindi Berger, said in a statement, "She really wasn't happy with her performance and she did want it to be perfect for Dolly, who she idolizes."
As for the Kennedy Center, the producer of the show said, "We appreciate the time and energy Ms. Simpson put into this event, and respect the high standards she has for herself and that of the Kennedy Center Honors."
See the abridged version of the Kennedy Center honors on December 26 on CBS.

Most television shows and movies about superheroes are based on comics. The NBC show "Heroes" wants to reverse that trend by creating a comic book about the show.
The series, about a group of people who discover they have extraordinary powers, is expanding the story lines with online graphic novels. The novels will delve deeper into the stories of the characters and viewers will be offered the choice of reading the online comic in a flash player or downloading and printing it.
With the buzz surrounding the show (it's the first freshman series to get a full season pickup), we're guessing it won't be long before "Heroes" action figures are at a store near you.

If you're anything like the TMZ staff, you fell in love with the Sugarcubes when they released their hit song "Hit". Then Icelandic fairy Björk started her solo career and the Sugarcubes were no more.
If only, you think, you had seen the band before they broke up. Well, now's your chance. The reformed Sugarcubes along with Björk are putting on a 20th anniversary concert celebrating the release of their first album "Birthday" in Reykjavik on November 17th. This will be the first time in 14 years the band has performed together.
All profits from the show go to Smekkleysa SM, (don't ask us how to pronounce it) the record label the band created. The label has released albums by other renowned Icelandic bands like Gus Gus and Sigur Ros. According to Björk's website, the money will be used to allow the label to " continue to work on a non-profit basis for the future betterment of Icelandic music and artist."
Here's the best part, Icelandic Air has a travel package that includes airline ticket and concert ticket. So now there's no excuse to miss the show. Maybe the TMZ staff can get a group discount.
