Cancel the national emergency -- Britney Spears is not pregnant. Two is enough!
TMZ caught Britney out at Ralph's grocery store last night where she told us that pregnancy test she was holding in photos seen yesterday wasn't for her -- but for "a friend." Do her other personalities count as friends?
Later on, Brit went to the trendy clothing shop Kitson -- at 1:30 AM! She had the owner of the store, Fraser Ross, open it up just for her. She walked in wearing a short red dress, but walked out with a dress shirt and tie thrown on top.
But the ripped stockings were a nice touch.
Martha's Dishes Made My Kids Sick!
A Pennsylvania couple is suing Martha Stewart Living and K-Mart, claiming the domestic diva's "Everyday" dinnerware -- with the lovely name "Flowers and Buds Border" -- contains lead and is responsible for poisoning their children. Get the lead out!
In
the lawsuit, filed on behalf of their two kids Michael and Matthew, Sandra and Raymond Dombroski allege the boys were poisoned by lead in the dinnerware, which caused the boys to suffer "mental, emotional and cognitive impairment, learning disability" as well as speech problems and physical impairment and a host of other problems. That's not a good thing!
The Dombroskis say that the lead problem is a result of "negligent, reckless, intentional and outrageous conduct of MSLO..." (that's Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia), and they've served up a heaping lawsuit asking for compensatory and punitive damages.
A spokesperson for MSLO told TMZ "We take consumer product safety very seriously. We do not comment on pending litigation."

There's a scandal brewing in the Members Dining Room of the House of Representatives. It involves chicken and Mark Foley has nothing to do with it.
Janie Galmon has worked in the dining room for half a century. For a long time, she's been the chef. That is, until a recent change of management. The Democrats rule, and there's a new sheriff in the mess hall -- so here's the deal. Sources say the new folk have made it so uncomfortable for Janie that she quit last month. That's the insult, now here's the injury.
Janie has some special recipes that have not only been a staple in the dining room, they bear her name -- Janie's Fried Chicken and Janie's Banana Pudding. The new regime in the dining room has asked Janie for the recipe and she told them to screw off -- it's hers. Undaunted, Janie's Fried Chicken and Janie's Banana Pudding were on the menu as recently as yesterday. One member tells TMZ, it doesn't even resemble the original. So it's screw you Janie -- hello Colonel.
TMZ contacted the House Administration Committee, which oversees the dining room. A spokesperson tells us that Galmon was asked to stay, "despite her intent to retire." Sources say, however, Galmon says she feels like she was forced out.
And the Committee added this: "Janie has volunteered to come in to demonstrate how to prepare her fried chicken and will be compensated for her expertise in teaching the recipe to the new food services vendor."

Tom to Jerry -- Suri's Real and She's Spectacular
Tom Cruise, with Suri in tow, went to Jerry Seinfeld's NYC garage and left with a serious case of P.T.S. -- Porsche Titillation Syndrome -- not that there's anything wrong with that.
They supposedly looked at Jerry's cars, but Seinfeld said recently he once dabbled in Scientology. Was this a recruiting mission? Did the Scientologuru cast a spell so intense that only sunglasses could thwart its power?
Cruise came out of their meeting muttering repeatedly about "nice cars." Sounds like code to us.

Britney Spears has finally shown up for her deposition. Fifth time's a charm.
After not showing up yesterday and triggering a motion from her lawyers to withdraw as counsel on grounds she's impossible, Britney just arrived at the law offices of Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Daddy's lawyer. We're told the lawyers who want out from the law firm of Trope and Trope are also present.
Will Brit actually sit for the entire depo or walk out? We'll be there with live streaming video in case she bolts.

Britney Spears was a no-show for the second day in a row, canceling dancer auditions for her upcoming tour and new video.
TMZ was on scene at Millennium Dance Studio in North Hollywood today, where Britney had scheduled auditions of male and female dancers to take place between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Brit canceled -- via text message at 11:00 AM -- leaving dancers saying "Merde!" -- but in English. Some of the dancers, while disappointed, would have waited even longer for her.
Several dancers told TMZ that Britney rescheduled for a third attempt on Monday. Luckily for us, several of the terpsichoreans decided to show us a few of their moves, and reminded us to "Leave Britney alone!"

With K-Fed's lawyers looking to nail Brit's former manager with a subpoena, Larry Rudolph says he'd rather stay in hiding than be forced to drop the dime on Britney in court.
In a statement to ThatOtherBlog.com, Rudolph said: "Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she's coming from and why she's said the things she said about me post-rehab and I don't take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she's going through. With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I'm trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She's going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best."

Wacky TV modeling agency hostess Janice Dickinson is a huge Britney Spears fan!
TMZ spotted the self-proclaimed "World's First Supermodel" on Robertson Blvd. yesterday, when she was asked about Britney Spears. Janice replied, "There is no scandal, what's happened to her hair has nothing to do with the caliber of her music. She's a brilliant musician ... and she's a brilliant person."
This, from a woman wearing a red and black plaid fur-lined coat and carrying an electric green purse.

Mother-of-two turned party girl Britney Spears has been awarded the title of the Worst Celebrity Role Model of 2006. Our girl's come a long way!
According to an Associated Press/AOL News poll, Americans find drunken racist rants less problematic than flashing your lady candy, as Spears tops a list that includes the likes of Mel Gibson and Michael Richards. Oh, the humanity!
Following ever so closely on Britney's cha cha heels is the former Mousketeer's new BFF, Paris Hilton. Sorry P, but a DUI will only get you so far! Mel Gibson, aka Malibu's most wanted, comes in at #3, just ahead of everyone's favorite couch-jumping, anti-medication, A-list Scientologist groom, Tom Cruise, who is #2. Not-so-funnyman Michael Richards insults his way into the top five to round down the list of sadsacks.

When Britney Spears decided to stop by Hyde nightclub in Hollywood last night, it's unlikely she imagined the chaos that awaited her.
As the pop star pulled up her jet black Porsche, a swarm of paparazzi invaded the street, enclosing Spears in a sea of crackling flashes that stopped passing motorists in their tracks. Finally, a musclebound employee from the club started moving people out of the way, but it took Brit a few minutes to fight the crush before finally getting into the club.
Just as the pandemonium settled, Brit's new BFF Paris Hilton rolled up -- and the madness resumed. As usual, Paris played it off like it was no big deal and chatted on her cell as she cruised inside.
Then, in a move that is sure to send shockwaves through their newly formed alliance, Lindsay Lohan, the third member of the Hollywood's most improbable triad, arrived *gasp* quietly through the back door! Attempting to be incognito, Lindsay crept in with a few friends, successfully avoiding the paparazzi crush.

Britney? She's dumped 30 pounds of baby weight and 180 pounds of trash. The picture on the right, taken in the Big Apple, makes the singer look larger than life -- at least larger than her former life, before giving birth to Sean Preston. What do you think?

Our buddies over at the "Kevin & Bean" show on Los Angeles radio station KROQ are at it again. They've allowed soon-to-be-single "Kevin Federline" to express his feelings re his bombshell divorce ... through the majesty of song.
Faux Federleezy (aka Psycho Mike) previewed his new single, "You Get Custody, I Get Paid," on this morning's show. As usual, the rapper dropped some serious knowledge, saying, "My Lamborghini and Cadillac won't pay for themselves," and "I ain't movin' out of Malibu to no apartment in the Valley, you know what I'm sayin'?"
