Plainclothes goth rocker Alice Cooper was busted for putting the pedal to the metal in Arizona a few months back -- after one of those pesky photo enforcement cameras caught him going 14 MPH over the speed limit.
Lacking his usual black mascara and trusty boa constrictor accessory, Cooper was snapped doing 59 in a 45 at an intersection in Maricopa County on May 23.
Lucky for Cooper, he didn't have to go to traffic school over the offense -- he just paid a $175 fine.

We've all seen how quickly Jon Gosselin moved on from Kate -- and it seems his need for speed carries over to the road too, because dude just got himself a ticket.
According to the ticket, Jon was clocked going 78.3 MPH in a 55 mile zone Tuesday in Allentown, PA. We're told he was cooperative with cops and sent on his way -- with a citation for $165.
Looks like that $2,000 he won in Las Vegas might come in handy.

Cops say rapper Too Short was too far over the legal limit to be driving around Las Vegas this morning.
According to law enforcement, Short -- real name Todd Shaw -- was arrested for DUI, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, speeding and exhibition of power (burning rubber) by Las Vegas Metro Police at around 4:00 AM.
It's the second time Short's been popped for DUI -- in Las Vegas -- in the last three months.
Cops say the 43-year-old is still behind bars.

Sorry Miss Jackson -- this is for real.
Andre Benjamin -- aka Andre 3000 from the rap group Outkast -- was arrested in his home state of Georgia this weekend after he was nailed for doing 109 mph in a 65 mph zone.
We're told Andre was taken to the Henry County Jail where he took a mugshot, posted $1,200 bail and was eventually released.

Plaxico Burress had another run-in with cops earlier this month -- but this time, the only person packing heat was the guy holding the badge.
Plaxico racked up four separate violations ... at the same time ... when Florida cops pulled over the NY Giants WR's black SUV on March 1st -- speeding (60 in a 45), improper display of tags, improper lane change and for improper window tinting (too dark).
The Broward County Court has yet to set a date for Plax to appear.

It's hard to dispute a .175 blood alcohol level -- which is why actor Sam Shepard just pled guilty to DUI and speeding.
Shepard -- who starred in "The Notebook" and "Swordfish" -- told an Illinois judge during today's 20-minute hearing, "I never intend to drive under the influence again... it's not worth it." Sam was busted last month for driving 46 MPH in a residential zone while sauced.
He was fined $600 plus court costs, placed on 24 months court supervision, has to complete an alcohol treatment course and 100 hours of community service, according to the pantagraph.com.

Sam Shepard got popped early this morning for an alleged DUI and speeding.
Shepard was doing a reported 46 MPH in a residential zone in -- get this, Normal, IL. The actor responded to the cops request to pull over by parking his Tahoe on the curb. According to the Pantagraph.com, the 65 year-old blew an impressive 0.175 which is roughly twice the legal limit.
Shepard was arrested at the scene and taken to McLean County jail. He posted bond and is currently pending a court appearance.

A local Scottsdale dentist may have set a new record for both speed and douchebaggery in his Lamborghini Murcielago. A video posted on YouTube -- and currently under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety -- shows the Lambo reaching speeds of about 219 mph -- on a public road!
Although the video never shows the driver's face, his voice is heard. The man behind the wheel is rumored to be one Robert Simyar, Dentist/Porn Website Owner. Nik Richie at DirtyScottsdale.com uncovered some photos of one of the stars of Simyar's site -- and what appears to be the same Lambo being used as a prop.
While the dentist's preoccupation with speed shows no regard for the lives of others on the road, both of his occupations are making people smile.

It might be time for Britney Spears to hire a new driver!
With Sean Preston and Jayden James disapprovingly shaking their tiny little heads in the backseat of her brand-new white Mercedes, the popwreck's lazy Tuesday came to a screeching halt in Beverly Hills when her ride suddenly ran out of gas! Oh, that's what the flashing gas thingy on my dashboard means, y'all!
Fortunately for Brit, who wasn't driving at the time, several Beverly Hills cops just happened to be in the area and helped push the whip to a nearby gas station.
But Brit's luck with Johnny Law didn't last too long. Just a short time later, after Brit went back home to chill out, the self-described "brainiac" behind the wheel, returned to the Bev -- where she was slapped with a parking ticket!
It's just the latest in a string of recent driving problems for the Britster, but at least she didn't hit anybody this time!
Cops: Second Car Involved in Hogan Crash
TMZ has learned that Florida police have interviewed the driver of a silver
Dodge Viper that may have contributed to Nick Hogan's horrific late night crash earlier this week, that left Nick's friend seriously injured.
Sources tell TMZ that several witnesses can place the Viper near the crash scene moments before and after the collision, but it may not be the only vehicle involved.
A rep for Clearwater Police Dept. tells TMZ, "We suspect there may be others and we encourage them to come forward."
Nick's father, Hulk Hogan, happens to own a silver Viper, but cops made it very clear that the wrestler is not a suspect.
As for Nick's passenger, TMZ has learned that 22-year-old John Graziano is still in "very serious condition." Sources inside the hospital tell us, "John's condition hasn't changed since he arrived."

Tiger Woods' Connection to LiLo
Lindsay Lohan and Tiger Woods have a common thread -- a paparazzo named Giovanni Arnold.
Arnold, the eager autograph hunter who
chased Tiger from Butter to Trump World Tower last night, is the same guy who sued Lindsay Lohan back in May, claiming she ran into him with her BMW. Lohan allegedly hit Arnold after a night at Butter on March 13.
Sources tell TMZ Arnold has been walking around New York with a cane since the alleged accident -- but he clearly had no problem running after Tiger's SUV last night!

The wife of rapper and actor DMX was ticketed for allegedly driving 106 mph on Interstate 684 in northern Westchester, State Police said.
Her husband was clocked at 104 mph in December 2004.
State Police said Tashera Simmons, 34, was stopped early Sunday morning in a 2000 Mercedes-Benz traveling north on I-684 in a 65-mph zone with four children who were not wearing seat belts.
She was charged with speeding, driving an uninspected vehicle and not using child restraints.
Her husband, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was stopped on the same road more than a year ago. State Police said he was arrested after he was found driving with a suspended license.
In the past 15 years, Simmons has been arrested multiple times in several countries on charges ranging from using obscene language during a performance to illegal drug and weapons possession charges.
Tashera Simmons is listed as a co-producer of the 2004 film, "Never Die Alone," which starred DMX as a kingpin drug dealer who returns to his hometown seeking redemption only to die a violent death.
The couple has one home in Bedford and another in Teaneck, N.J.
Tashera Simmons is due in North Castle Court on Feb. 28.
