Just because you're not Michael Phelps doesn't mean anyone can just use your image any way they want.
Olympic hero Jason Lezak -- a seven-time Olympic medalist who is most remembered for swimming the anchor leg of the 4x100 relay at the Beijing Olympic Games -- is suing Nike (and a swimming apparel website) because he claims they used his image in an ad without his permission.
According to a lawsuit filed Tuesday, Lezak does not have a deal with either of them and has never received any payment for the ad.
He is seeking unspecified damages.

One of the stars of the US Olympic swim team has his mankini in a bunch over his image -- and no, it's not Michael Phelps.
Aaron Peirsol, who was the backstroking part of that awesome gold medal winning 4x100 meter medley team in the '08 games, is suing a marketing company who allegedly used his image in swimwear ads without proper permission.
In a lawsuit filed last week in Orange County, Peirsol claims the marketing company placed the ads in Swimming World Magazine and USMS Magazine, knowing the magazines would be heavily distributed in Orange County -- Aaron's hometown.
Peirsol is suing for licensing fees, attorney fees, and punitive damages.

Yesterday was a day of celebration for the DNA victorious Larry Birkhead. Shortly after the news of Dannielynn's paternity was announced, Birkhead did some victory laps -- in a pool with his adorable niece and nephew.
While a huge weight has been lifted from Larry's shoulders, it looks like he'll still have heavyweight Virgie Arthur to contend with in a custody hearing.
It seems that Larry will be a swimmingly good dad, and Dannielynn will have some happy cousins to play with. *Sniff*

With summer well, oppressively upon us, celebrities, like the rest of us, are look for ways to cool down. Water sports are Matthew McConaughey and Naomi Watts choice to beat the summer heat.
Matthew used the recent heat wave as an excuse paddle out and learn some surfing in order to fit his new Malibu lifestyle. Matthew's first lesson went really well for the amateur. He managed to stand up on a few waves and could be heard yelling excitedly by friends on shore who congratulated the beach bum-in-training when he went ashore. Naomi Watts prefers an al fresco approach to cooling down and working off those dinner calories. The "King Kong" star, boyfriend Liev Schreiber and friends decided to take a walk after having dinner in Italy, a walk that turned into a late night topless swim.

Eva Longoria and NBA star Tony Parker have been suffering from the traveling bug lately. Eva has officially proved that she is no "Desperate Housewife" stuck at home cleaning house.
The happy couple were spotted in Tahiti Monday, swimming, splashing around and doing cannon balls off an overwater bungalow. Their exclusive abode hovers over crystal clear water in a real-life blue lagoon.
Eva and Tony have enjoyed more fun on their vacations already this summer than you or I will in a lifetime. In addition to their South Pacific getaway, the two packed their bags and spent some time in Cabo San Lucas at the beginning of June swimming with dolphins, then they headed back to California to stroll down the red carpet at the "Superman Returns" premiere and THEN Eva made a special appearance in buddy Jessica Simpson's new music video. Whew! Life's rough.
It's no surprise after that rigorous schedule they needed another vacation in an exotic locale. Must be nice.
