Reggie Jackson led the New York Yankees to two World Series wins and currently serves as the team's "special adviser" -- yet for some reason, he was hitting up a former Phillies player for tickets to last night's game!
We found Mr. October in front of his NY hotel where he tried begging onetime Philadelphia second baseman/current ESPN analyst Joe Morgan for a few extra tix.

Tickets are going fast for the limited engagement of the MJ concert doc "This Is It" -- but there are two people who aren't scrambling to get seats: Michael's own mother and sister.
We got La Toya Jackson outside of Katsuya last night where she told us, "We're not seeing it, my mother, we're not seeing it."
As TMZ previously reported, 60 tickets were offered to the family, but Katherine insists no one ever called her about getting seats. We're also told Michael's three kids really want to see the flick.

AEG has promised a full refund for tickets to Michael Jackson's 50 London concert dates -- if you bought your tickets through an "authorized dealer."
In a statement that was set to be released in a couple of hours -- that somehow leaked -- AEG promises "the refunds will be processed by each of the authorised ticket agencies (e.g. Ticketmaster, Viagogo, See or Ticketline)."
And the statement says fans "will have the option to be sent the actual tickets" for the show. Translation -- one hell of an expensive keepsake.

Plaxico Burress just got out of four traffic tickets on a technicality -- but the officer who gave him the tickets claims the NFL star is technically full of crap.
TMZ spoke with a rep for the Broward County Police who spoke with the officer who gave Plax the tickets (still following?) -- who told us the cop specifically remembers giving Plaxico the information she was required by law to give him -- which spells out how to pay or contest fines.
Plax claims he never got that information and there is no record to prove otherwise -- so the 4 tickets were thrown out.
The cop explained that the info comes in a flyer, and that she always puts the flyers in with the tickets -- and specifically remembers doing so for Plaxico. The cop even said she saw Plax toss it all onto the backseat of his car.
The cop also said she didn't know who Plaxico was when she pulled him over, but recalls the traffic stop for other reasons: in particular, she remembers how recklessly Plax was operating the car and how poor his attitude was when he was pulled over.
Bet his attitude is better now, huh?

...no, not for the gun charges.
This one just went down in Florida -- the plagued wide receiver just had those 4 tickets he racked up in one day dismissed ... all because the cop who nailed him was a little too careless with his paperwork.
Plaxico Burress' lawyer, Bradford Cohen, tells us the tickets cops gave him in Broward County on March 1 -- for speeding (60 in a 45), improper display of tags, improper lane change and improper window tinting -- were dismissed because they weren't properly filled out by the cop.
Whoops.
We're told the tickets did not include info on how Plax could pay or contest the fines -- which is a violation of state law.
As for the gun charges, Burress is due back in court in New York on June 15 -- but don't expect the same outcome.

So much for doing it for the fans. Tickets for Beyonce's four night "intimate" appearance at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas are going fast -- but only to rich people. Fans have to buy their tickets along with a two night stay in the hotel -- packages range from $450 and $850 per person -- and that's just for starters.
If that's too rich for your blood and you want to skip the hotel, a limited number of tickets are selling for $250, $500, $750, and $1000 (again, per person).
Our source at the Wynn tells us that ticket-only seating cannot exceed 1% of total ticket sales. That means in the 1500-seat Encore theater, only 10-15 tickets will be available without hotel fees.
FYI ... the world record for the number of people stuffed into a phone booth is 22.

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards show today is the hottest ticket in L.A., bar none ... and you thought TMZ was the of sign Western civilization was crumbling.
We know people who know people who are going to the show this afternoon at Pauley Pavilion at UCLA. Connected parents have found it impossible to get tickets. These connected parents have called friends who are even more connected who can't get tickets. Those friends have had to call on even more connected friends ... get the picture?
It's so impossible to score a stub -- we're told parents who did get tickets had to go to a "secret location" yesterday to pick them up.
So why all the hubbub? Every actor in town is going, because in H-wood it's all about the demos. We're told a number of actors are dreading the event but know they have to show and will probably get slimed.
Hollywood is a tough town.

Plaxico Burress had another run-in with cops earlier this month -- but this time, the only person packing heat was the guy holding the badge.
Plaxico racked up four separate violations ... at the same time ... when Florida cops pulled over the NY Giants WR's black SUV on March 1st -- speeding (60 in a 45), improper display of tags, improper lane change and for improper window tinting (too dark).
The Broward County Court has yet to set a date for Plax to appear.

Apparently, they don't have seat belts in England. Or at least that was Simon Cowell's excuse when a Beverly Hills cop pulled him over for not buckling up this weekend. 
Fortunately for Cowell, the cop was a fan who fell for his old British charm and let him go without a ticket -- but not before stopping traffic to strike up a conversation about the other "American Idol" judges he's pulled over in the past. We're not kidding.
It seems like Simon even attempts to warn him about discussing such things on camera, but hey, it's Beverly Hills ... and nobody got hurt.

The Obama campaign has dished out all 70,000 tickets to the massive election night rally in Chicago's Grant Park tomorrow, which in turn has bred a whole new type of businessperson -- the election rally ticket scalper. 
The tickets were personalized by the DNC to keep such scalping from happening -- but now some clever people are literally hawking their +1 status on eBay for nearly 400 bones by making you meet them at the venue to get in.
Capitalism at its finest.
