Boy George Is Trashed!

Clad in a bright orange vest and designer footwear, Boy George wheeled a city-issued trashbin through the streets of New York Monday morning, in a highly publicized effort to repay his debt to society.

Dozens of onlookers stopped dead in their tracks as the former Culture Club frontman scooped up leaves and trash from sidewalks. But while the '80s icon, who sang "Karma Chameleon" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?", dragged his body through heaps of garbage, his mind was still in the gutter. TMZ caught George smiling and shaking his butt, as he jokingly proclaimed, "I'm going to go have sex with the guard!"

The singer, born George O'Dowd, was ordered to spend five days working for the Department of Sanitation after pleading guilty in March to falsely reporting a burglary at his lower Manhattan apartment. When officers responded, rather than a burglar, they found cocaine instead.

But wait, there's more....

After completing his waste management duties for the day, George remained laughing and playful (probably due to the fact that a documentary film crew he is working with was still following him around). The singer can also be heard firing off a quick verbal retaliation to a heckler, who was then overjoyed by the fact he was zinged by New York's most famous trash man.
