During Game 5 of the Playoffs last week, Tyrese Gibson decided to change the words of the National Anthem -- and now he realizes what a colossal mistake that really was.
Gibson was booed hardcore after he replaced the line "our flag was still there" with "our Lakers were still there," and when we asked about his version last night, dude turned deathly serious and extremely apologetic.

Tyrese just learned a valuable lesson -- just because you pay an insane amount of money for a car, doesn't mean you can get away with not having a license plate on it.
Cops tell us Tyrese was pulled over while driving his Maserati through Hollywood Monday night for failing to have license plates on his car.
We're told the car is registered, but for some reason Tyrese either hasn't got the tag in the mail or just hasn't put it on the car yet.

A woman named "Patricia" has allegedly been overzealously Tweeting the soon-to-be-divorced "Transformers" star, saying "Now that your wife is finally out of the picture Daddy, it's my turn" -- and, according to him, it's now become a legal matter.
We asked Tyrese about the situation last night, and he didn't hold back -- "She's every bit of crazy and Looney Tunes."

A homeless man tried hitting up the model/actor for some cash last night -- what he got was a pretty solid economics lesson in how to profit off of parched drunks by flipping bottles of Gatorade outside of nightclubs.
Tyrese even floated the dude a few bucks so he could get the ball rollin'.

TMZ has obtained the prenup between Tyrese Gibson and his soon-to-be ex Norma Gibson -- and from the looks of it, she won't be getting much when it's all said and done. 
According to the docs, Norma doesn't get a piece of any of Tyrese's possessions -- not his production company, not his cars, not his house ... nothing.
The prenup does state that Norma would get a lump sum of $50,000 for every year they were married -- maxed out at 10 years. The couple was only married 10 months.
How's this for brutal? The prenup says that if either side files for separation or divorce, Norma has to move out of the house within 60 days -- or else Tyrese can get a court order to make her move out.

Tyrese Gibson's 10-month marriage is starting to cost him dearly.
A judge today ordered Gibson to fork over $65,000 to his estranged wife Norma. In addition, he'll shell out $6,230/month in support, pay her rent ($2,730) and make her car payments ($800). But don't worry -- the judge ruled Tyrese can write off the rent and car payments!
It's all temporary -- she's contesting the prenup.

One minute Tyrese hates our fricken' guts. The next minute ... well, he still hates us, but he hides it better.
Outside of Katsuya last night, Tyrese -- the guy who's made his deep seeded dislike of all things TMZ known to our cameras several times before -- was nothing but pearly whites and punchlines, thanks to his self-described "good mood." He even claimed he "got love for TMZ." We were like peas and carrots!
But the love-fest didn't last too long because hours later, we caught T's other personality -- Dr. McCrankypants -- in his usual mood outside of Les Deux. If only Michael Bay was directing the he-make of "Sybil"...

Also on the scene being friendly to folks was co-star Adrian Pasdar and his Dixie Chick wife, Natalie Maines, giving out free hugs.
Tyrese was spotted as he was solicited by some old dude to go for a ride. Hitchhiking can be bad for your health! And a so-handsome-you-wanna-slap-your-mama rapper, Common, was seen at a Target event at One Sunset along with Kanye West and "Reno 911's" slimmed down Niecy Nash. Get em' girl!

Soul singer Robin Thicke celebrated his two BET Award nods at BET's Boulevard 3 pre-party -- the trophy show airs live tonight at 8:00 PM EDT. Thicke then headed over to Parc -- getting a lift from buxom Kim Kardashian. Kim tapped away on her Sidekick -- a welcome home message to Paris?
A svelte Jack Osbourne shared an Italian meal at Il Sole with Kim Stewart, who's just back from pop Rod's June 16 nuptials in Italy.
T minus 7 and counting: Rubberband Man T.I. threw a CD release party at Republic in West Hollywood for the July 3 drop of his "T.I. vs. T.I.P." Tyrese and Omar Epps stopped by, along with champ Floyd Mayweather, boasting of his millions.

Not that anyone asked, but actor/model/rapper Tyrese aka Black Ty has issued a statement in defense of Oprah Winfrey's South African school. Earlier this week, reports surfaced claiming that Oprah Winfrey's Leadership Academy for Girls was too strict with its students. While the Big O already issued a statement denying the allegations, Tyrese has gone ahead and thrown his fitty cents into the Winfrey PR mix.
Tyrese's statement reads, "There is a staggering amount of millionaires and billionaires out in the world that do nothing to effect positive change within society. The fact that Oprah Winfrey took a monumental step to create a school in South Africa for the betterment of African children rather then (sic) just speak of change is commendable. The bible says -- 'No good deed shall go unpunished,' (sic) and there are many critics out in the world turning up negative stones (sic) to find a flaw in this wonderful gift donated to South Africa by Oprah Winfrey. I stand with Oprah in the fight for change and positive world reform and I hope that people realize there will always be struggle and without struggle there is no progression. (sic) Please leave her alone and let the blessings she is offering outshine the public scrutiny she is facing."
Oprah can sleep peacefully knowing the guy from "2 Fast 2 Furious" is on her team!
