Swine Flu Infiltrates TMZ

E.I.E.I.Oh no! A TMZ employee is down with the swine, and we think there's a connection to a boy band and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.



Chad Weiser just called with the bad news. He's got the H1N1. And here's where the plot thickens. Chad works in the production of TMZ TV and handled the tapes we got of Brian Littrell and Dr. Sanjay Gupta, both swine flu survivors.

No one gets out of the office all day, so it's like a petri dish in here.

HELP!!!! And pass the Purell.

Swine Flu Carrying Littrell -- Airborne Toxic Event

Pigs don't fly -- but yesterday one Backstreet Boy just infected with the swine flu did.


After being quarantined in his NY hotel with the virus since Sunday, Brian Littrell finally got the A.O.K. to travel back to L.A. -- and though he said his doc cleared him for human interaction, our pap wasn't taking him up on any proposed mouth-to-mouth contact.

Backstreet Boy Infected with that Pig Virus

UPDATE: Brian just released the following video, apologizing to his fans for contracting the virus. Don't stand too close to your monitor, he looks contagious....

I don't care who you are, or where you're from ... you better stay away from Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell, because he's got the Swine Flu.



The Boys' rep just announced the singer has officially contracted the virus known as H1N1, which means he's probably suffering some, if not all, of the following symptoms:

- Fever above 100.4 °F
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Chills
- Muscle aches
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting

As of right now, the three remaining Boys -- Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean -- have been cleared by doctors ... but have been "prescribed Tamiflu" just in case.
