Michael Crichton's widow just filed a creditor's claim against his estate ... and she wants $7 million.
Sherri Alexander Crichton signed a prenup with Michael on April 22, 2005 -- which promised her $1,000,000 per year for nine years, this according to documents she filed on Friday in L.A. County Superior Court.
At the time of Michael's death last year, Sherri says she had only received $2 million.
According to the docs, the prenup stated Sherri would get the rest of the $9 mil in a lump sum if Michael died.
That leaves a $7 million balance ... and Sherri wants it stat.

The disappearing Courtney Love donned another widow chic death fairy outfit to attend a movie in London last night ... and it looks like the film was a weeper!
The Goth Cut 'n Style Barbie slapped on some black nail polish and enough lip gloss to make even Bobby Trendy jealous.

After a disastrous attempt at making a music video, in which the popwreck dressed like a stripper widow in 1964, Britney returned to a club in Venice to take another shot at it. Take two, y'all!
Surrounded by paparazzi and security, and not wearing her headband, Britz drove her Mercedes right up to the back door and went back to work. What, nothing left to buy at Kitson?

The New York Post reports that Bruce Springsteen's long time marriage to Patti Scialfa is in deep trouble.
The alleged problem is Bruce's blossoming friendship with a stunning 9/11 widow the Boss met when he organized the "America: A Tribute to Heroes" telethon. The two have been spotted several times at the Beacon Hill Beach Club and the Stone Pony, the Asbury Park watering hole made famous in "Glory Days."
The Post quotes several "friends" of Springsteen who can't seem to decide on whether the couple is on the rocks or not. One friend says "They're separated, but everyone has been sworn to secrecy," while another friend states "He's just a really big flirt. There's nothing going on. Bruce and Patti are very much partners. They go at it a lot and fight, but they also work at it a lot... Patti is a strong woman. They are not going anywhere." Confused yet? So are we.
A Springsteen representative declined comment.
