The docuseries gives the mic to former church members breaking their silence for the first time -- including longtime insiders of Faith Temple -- plus a top cult expert who lays out how tactics of control and loyalty enforcement can keep followers in line.

Miles Teller's making it clear the "Man in the Mirror" isn't playing Michael Jackson ... reiterating to anyone still confused that he isn't starring as the King of Pop in the flick.

The actor jumped on Travis and Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast to explain what might have caused the initial mix-up ... revealing many of the original headlines read "Miles Teller to Star in Michael Jackson Biopic."

Singer Tish Hyman got into one fiery face-off with California State Senator Scott Wiener over her viral run-in with a trans woman in a women’s locker room in L.A. that got her booted from Gold's Gym entirely ... and things got so tense, she ended up storming out Tuesday night.

Tish declared her stance is not rooted in homophobia -- reminding everyone she’s a lesbian -- as she grilled Wiener -- who’s gay and running for Nancy Pelosi’s seat -- at a San Francisco forum ... wanting to know how he plans to protect women’s safety in the wake of her experience.

Wiener said women’s safety matters across the board ... including the safety of trans women, pointing out they’re brutalized nationwide at an alarming rate and deserve protection, too.

Jeffrey Epstein and author Michael Wolff were talking about coaching Donald Trump ahead of a 2015 CNN debate -- and in newly released emails, it seems they were trying to craft a response that would not fully disclose the relationship between Epstein and Trump. The White House is pushing back, saying "These stories are nothing more than bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump's historic accomplishments."

According to a December 2015 email, Wolff said to Epstein, "I hear CNN planning to ask Trump tonight about his relationship with you."

Epstein wrote back, "If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?"

Global girl group Katseye have only been around for about a year ... but they say they've already received thousands of death threats.

The group, composed of 6 women from all over the world -- Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeong, Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, and Megan Skiendiel -- seemingly has a member anyone can relate to ... but they're not resonating with everyone.

They told BBC News music correspondent Mark Savage they've been sent thousands of death threats ... even their families have been threatened.

The drama between filmmaker Yi Zhou and actor Jeremy Renner ratcheted up the ugliness last week ... for Renner, it seems to be a story of misconduct and unethical business dealings -- but Zhou tells us it's more about heartbreak.

We caught up with Zhou in Beverly Hills Tuesday night, where she told us ... "I thought it was love -- maybe true love ... It seems that he thinks otherwise."

As we reported ... Renner alleges they had a "brief consensual encounter" in July ... but when they met again in August, he allegedly told Zhou he was not interested in a sexual relationship, and put her in a guest bedroom that night.

Zachery Ty Bryan allegedly punched his then-girlfriend and threatened to kill her over the summer ... and she now has a 5-year restraining order against him.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the victim first contacted police after the "Home Improvement" star allegedly clocked her in the right temple on July 3 ... after she playfully bit his nipple while they were lying down together.

The woman also told cops she was scared for her safety just days later when she and Bryan got into a verbal altercation. She claimed he threatened to end her life and said ... "Shut the f*** up or I'm gonna shut you up".

Antonio Brown stood in a Florida courtroom Wednesday morning for the first time since his arrest for attempted murder ... where the judge ruled the former NFL star can walk free ahead of his trial, as long as he has bond money.

The possibilities are beautiful at Ulta ... but not for this driver, who crashed into the store while leading police on a high-speed chase through suburban Detroit.

The incident went down early Sunday ... kicking off just before 1 AM when police dashcam footage captured a white SUV speeding away from three Royal Oak police officers who reportedly pulled the car over, after receiving a report of a vehicle driving on the train tracks.

The cops race back to their vehicle and tear down the street after the SUV ... making a complicated series of turns through neighborhoods and alleyways ... before the driver crashes head-on through the front glass windows of the store.
