Richard Branson is opening up about the death of his beloved wife ... revealing Joan -- who he'd been with for 50 years -- passed away after suffering a back injury.

The British business tycoon wrote an emotional tribute to Joan on Instagram, saying she was hospitalized in England while recovering from her back problems. Richard said he was recovering in the same hospital from injuries he suffered in a separate bike accident in India.

Richard said they laughed about "how typical it was for them to end up on the same floor" of the hospital ... and enjoyed a "lovely lunch" just before her death.

A woman with ties to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's family is reportedly in ICE custody after being arrested earlier this month.

The woman, Bruna Caroline Ferreira, is from Brazil and the mother of Leavitt's nephew ... she was arrested near Boston on November 12, according to her attorney, who spoke with CNN.

The outlet reports Leavitt's nephew lives full-time in New Hampshire with her brother, Michael. Meanwhile, Karoline has apparently not spoken to Ferreira in years.

Mia Thornton isn't letting her recent arrest for larceny put a damper on her b'day ... the 'Real Housewives of Potomac' star looks hotter than ever in photos posted to her Instagram Tuesday, marking her 41st birthday.

Popular Chicago rapper MAF Teeski was arrested Monday in Indiana and charged with domestic battery by bodily waste committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, plus interference with reporting a crime.

TMZ has learned he was cuffed by the Fishers Police Department after officers responded to an unfinished 911 call about a physical altercation between Teeski and his girlfriend. Cops say they found the woman and her 13-year-old child outside when they arrived at the scene, and Teeski was described as "barricaded inside the residence."

After about half an hour on the scene, police say the "One I Want" rapper exited the home with his hands raised and was placed in handcuffs. He told police his girlfriend slapped him, and he only reacted after they got into a "scuffle."

"Seeking Sister Wife" star Garrick Merrifield is juggling a lot these days ... he's got a couple wives, a baby and three other kids ... and now he's got some legal trouble to deal with ... because he just got busted for misdemeanor domestic violence ... TMZ has learned.

Garrick was arrested Monday in Chaffee County and has since bonded out of jail ... according to a jail spokesperson. According to online court records he's facing a charge of telephone-obstruct service.

Its currently unclear what exactly went down to land the reality star behind bars.

Garrick married a Brazilian woman, Lorrana, in October 2024 and this past July they welcomed their first child together ... a daughter.

He is in a plural marriage with his first wife, Dannielle. They have three older children together and they legally divorced years ago so Garrick could marry two other women ... both from Brazil.

Garrick, Danielle, Lorrana and the four children all appeared to be living together at the time of his arrest.

Zarbab Ali was found guilty last Friday by a jury of fatally stabbing Rachel Castillo with a knife as the two were on the verge of finalizing their divorce in Simi Valley in November 2022. He faces a life sentence without parole and is slated to be sentenced January 12.

Before the trial, Ali told investigators he hid in Rachel’s apartment, ambushed her and butchered her body. Then he drove her corpse to a spot in a remote desert in Antelope Valley and buried her in a shallow grave. He returned the next morning and sexually assaulted her before burying her body again.

Model and actress Charlotte McKinney got her big break in a 2015 Super Bowl commercial for Carl's Jr., but now she's doing standup comedy ... which she says offers specific obstacles for her to overcome.

TMZ caught up with Charlotte at LAX Tuesday where our photog asked her if comedy is more difficult to pull off for pretty people.

She answered, "It's definitely a bit of a challenge, but I like it."

Reality star Savannah Chrisley could end up launching the next American political dynasty ... because she just talked to her dad, Todd, about the possibility of running for office on Tuesday's episode of the "Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley" podcast.

If you're thinking Savannah going into politics isn't the best idea, you're not alone. According to Savannah, a lot of people in Donald Trump's administration have advised her that politics isn't the only way to have a positive effect on the world ... and in fact, with her following, she could be more impactful outside of government, where she wouldn't have to give up her life. But she just might not listen.

She says because she has a voice that "95 percent of the politicians" don't have, it might end up making sense to her.
