Actor Kumail Nanjiani didn't have to make a New Year's resolution, because he's stayed jacked!!!

Kumail was hangin' with a friend Friday at a restaurant in the Los Feliz area of L.A., and it's pretty clear from the pose -- he hasn't lost an inch of mass or muscle.

The 41-year-old stunned everyone with his chiseled pic ... displaying his washboard abs and super vascular arms. He got ripped for his new flick, "Eternals" ... which is set for release in November.

As you know ... Kumail is best known as a nerdy computer geek on "Silicon Valley," which ended last year. During the last season, the nerd's arms were bulging out of his shirt. His career hit a new level in 2017 with his movie, "The Big Sick" -- a true story about his wife.

DaBaby threw a pretty spectacular Grammy nomination bash Friday, and tons of music stars showed up.

The party went down at a house in Bev Hills, and the crowd included Casanova, YFN Lucci, Scott Storch, along with record execs Steve Lobel and AE. The party started at 3 PM and wrapped up at around 8.

DaBaby, who's nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his hit, "Suge," served up some ham, cheese and veggies. He had lots of Hennessey and Ciroc to wash it down.

As for the tunes ... well, DaBaby played lots of ... DaBaby.

The Game was in a celebratory mood for Grammy weekend, but he took a few minutes to vent his anger over YG's arrest this week.

We got Game Friday night, leaving Derriere nightclub in Hollywood, and he seems outraged at YG's arrest for robbery, something his famed lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says is absolute BS.

Game notes that YG is set to perform a tribute to Nipsey Hussle Sunday night. He claims the cops will do anything they can to derail a tribute to YG. Full disclosure ... the photog mistakenly said the LAPD arrested YG ... it was the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept.

BTW ... YG was released Friday night on $250,000 bail.

Retired MLB star Jim Edmonds is logging some quality one-on-one time with the woman who allegedly banged him and his estranged wife at the same time.

Pat Houston was at LAX Friday and talked about Clive's project, revealing she's actually working with the legendary music industry exec on it.

She says Davis is a wonderful person -- he's also credited with bringing Houston to prominence -- so Pat's doing anything she can to help him. Whether she meant to or not, she's already doing a good job ... by recruiting Taraji P. Henson.

Andy Dick was inconsolable, and understandably so, after a man walked into his art studio and shot himself in the head.

The tragic incident went down Monday around midnight inside Andy's downtown L.A. art gallery ... which opened late last year. Witnesses say the man had been waving a gun around before heading inside, where Andy and someone else was working.

Once inside, the man fired the shot. Witnesses say it appeared to be an accident.

It's unclear if Andy witnessed the shooting, but he was visibly shaken as LAPD and paramedics responded to the scene. The victim was transported to a hospital, and according to one source, he's currently on life support.

The video shows a traumatized Andy explaining to police what he'd seen.

Justin Bieber is singing, smiling and dancing again ... putting in the work for another new music video with his buddy and Migos rapper Quavo.

Biebs was spotted in L.A. Friday outside of a daycare facility, he also had a photo and video crew in tow. It's unclear if the visit was planned or a surprise ... but Justin had a bunch of people join him on the steps in front of the cameras.

It's hard to tell exactly what's playing on speakers set up around the crew, but there's definitely music and we're told it's a new single for the Beliebers.

Rapper Quavo from Migos was also there -- the two have collabed before -- so it makes sense the pair have another single on the way.

R. Kelly missed a court date this week, but had a pretty good excuse -- going under the knife ... in an operating room, not his jail cell.

Sources close to Kelly tell TMZ ... the singer was briefly taken outta MCC Chicago, and transported to a hospital earlier this week where doctors performed emergency surgery to repair a hernia. We're told he was transported back to the big house after the procedure.

We don't know how long of a hospital stay he had, but he was back in his jail cell by Thursday evening. We're told he wasn't allowed to have any visitors at the hospital.

Seems the hernia's been plaguing Kelly for a while. His lawyer filed docs back in September, outlining several medical issues facing Kelly ... including anxiety, numbness in one of his hands and the then-untreated hernia.
