The Shake Shack manager accused of poisoning police officers' drinks last summer claims he was treated like a first-rate criminal ... and now he wants someone to pay.

Marcus Gilliam -- the man who was running the Manhattan restaurant when this went down about a year ago -- just sued a number of NYPD cops, a few police unions and the City of New York for what he says was a rush to judgment and a gross overreaction, all based on nothing.

In his suit, obtained by TMZ, Gilliam alleges he was arrested and taken in for questioning that night, and was kept in custody until the wee hours of the morning ... supposedly getting grilled and accused of spiking 3 cops' shakes with bleach, even though he says he actually hadn't.

ICYMI -- 3 NYPD cops rolled up to Shake Shack, said their milkshakes tasted funny ... and before you knew it, had a whole bunch of unions tweeting out accusations that their officers had been intentionally poisoned.

Gilliam points out what we had reported ... that a "thorough investigation" proved that was a bogus allegation. In the interim, Gilliam says he was getting treated like crap by cops, being falsely held against his will for something he clearly hadn't done.

As it turned out ... the "funny taste" in the shakes might've been the machine not being cleaned properly. In any case, Gilliam claims his detainment was BS, because there was a mountain of evidence -- like surveillance video -- that the NYPD should have checked to clear his name before they hauled him into custody.

He alleges he was not only falsely arrested, but defamed as well when the suspicion turned into "fact" and spread like wildfire ... and he's asking for damages.

Joe Exotic has a new venture that could put him in high spirits -- he's launching his own cannabis line all while doing hard time in federal prison.

The 'Tiger King' star cooked up the idea last July and the wheels have been in motion ever since. His attorney, Brad Small, tells TMZ ... they have a deal locked for Joe to partner with Tango Hotel Charlie Group, LLC and Cannaxxs LTD to launch Joe Exotic Cannabis.

We're told Joe's been directly involved in the biz through calls and emails with his attorney. The deal includes the various companies ponying up the dough with Joe's name attached to the products.

Small tells us the products include CBD edibles and will be sold in dispensaries throughout California, Colorado and Oklahoma. While recreational THC is legal in Cali and Colorado, only medicinal is kosher in Joe's old OK stomping grounds.

We're told part of the reason Joe's doing this is to help people who need cannabis to ease their pain from various ailments.

Small says the launch will happen within weeks, and a share of Joe's profits will go towards captive tiger care. As we reported ... Joe said in the year since the Netflix docuseries 'Tiger King' dropped his life had been a living hell.

Lights, camera, PAYTON!

That's New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton getting all Hollywood in Louisiana ... where he's shooting a new movie based on the fallout from the NFL's "Bountygate" scandal.

Kevin James is playing Sean Payton in the flick, called "Home Team" -- and even though they don't look exactly alike, you get the point.

Payton has a cameo in the film -- looks like he's playing a mechanic or something?!

As for the movie itself ... here's the backstory.

Payton received a 1-year suspension from the NFL in 2012 for Bountygate  -- when Saints players were getting cash payouts from 2009 to 2011 for targeting and injuring opponents during games.

During his suspension, Payton coached his son's youth football team -- and reportedly used the time away from the league to "reassess his life and put it in some perspective."

The movie will focus on Payton's time away from his job -- and how he grew as a person because of the experience.

The movie is being produced by Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions -- so it seems the flick will be a lighthearted, family-friendly depiction of the situation ... despite the heavy and despicable nature of the suspension in the first place.

The cast includes stars like Taylor Lautner and Rob Schneider -- as well as Isaiah Mustafa ... aka the Old Spice guy!!

Don Diamont's real life seems to be playing out like one of his TV soaps (in a bad way) -- with an alleged stalker showing up at his house, and forcing him to go running to court for help.

The veteran daytime TV actor -- famous for his 'Bold and the Beautiful' and 'Young and the Restless' roles -- was just granted a temporary restraining order in L.A. County Superior Court ... after he claimed some guy showed up on his front steps earlier this month.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Diamont claims 37-year-old Quincy Adams has been harassing him and his family for months ...dating back to early January, when DD alleges the dude started making wacky accusations.

Don alleges Adams took to YouTube and leveled a number of outlandish claims ... saying Diamont was a Satanist and responsible for COVID, 9/11, and the Iraq war. Perhaps most absurd of all, Diamont says the man claimed to be bound to him in some way before birth.

Yeah, we know ... it's out there. That's what Don thought at first too, but he says he grew even more concerned when he saw Adams online, saying he knew where Don lived. He claims Adams also contacted family members.

It all came to a head on June 2, when Don says his wife called him to say Adams had shown up at their front gate. Don says he rushed home, and arrived to find the police handling Adams -- but says the whole sitch gave everyone a scare.

Now, he's asked for a judge to step in with a legal forcefield -- and he got it. The court granted him the TRO, ordering Adams to steer clear of him and his family.

Michael Brockers says revenge WILL be had over his former team this October ... the new Lions star tells TMZ Sports he's already giving Detroit a win over the Rams in their 2021 matchup!!

"Definitely," Brockers said when we asked the pass rusher out at LAX if he's already got a W circled on the calendar. "Come on, now!"

Michael took it a step further ... and said he's gunning for at least one sack on Matt Stafford when he heads back to L.A. on Oct. 24 for the big tilt!

"I got to get at least one," Brockers told us. "I'm trying to sack every quarterback, but I got to get that one."

Brockers was traded to Detroit from L.A. in March ... a shocking move considering just days prior, he had gassed up the Rams and Stafford HARD.

At the time, the 30-year-old told us Stafford was a better QB than Jared Goff ... and insisted the Rams were a legit Super Bowl contender.

Brockers, though, tells us it hasn't been weird at all being sent to Detroit with Goff despite the comments ... he reiterated to us there is absolutely no beef between them whatsoever.

Michael Costello says he nearly took his own life because he could no longer deal with the trauma -- personally and professionally -- which he claims Chrissy Teigen brought down on him.

The "Project Runway" star's accusing Chrissy of a yearslong campaign to get him blacklisted from the industry, because he says she mistakenly thought he posted something racist all the way back in 2014.

Costello claims no matter what he did to try to convince Chrissy the racism allegations were untrue -- he says Instagram proved it was a Photoshopped comment he didn't write -- she persisted, and told him his career was over.

He also posted screenshots of the alleged messages from Teigen, in which she says, "racist people like you deserve to suffer and die" ... and issues the veiled threat about his career.

Michael claims Chrissy, along with stylist Monica Rose, followed through with this by using their power to get brands and companies to not work with him.

The designer says he's suffered tremendously, and is opening up about it now in an attempt to set himself free from depression and suicidal thoughts.

Costello claims it's gotten so bad recently, he told loved ones he thought taking his own life was the best way out.

Of course, Michael's allegations coincide with Chrissy issuing a lengthy apology for her past behavior online ... which she called trolling, and attributed to her own insecurities and immaturity.

If true, it seems the Michael situation is a different beast with different context ... but it's certainly not any more tolerable.

It's rare when a conversation about how to spend half a million bucks gets highjacked, but that's exactly what happened to Gunna when a hyped-up fan hilariously rolled by ... armed with compliments and a megaphone.

We got the "Dollaz On My Head" rapper leaving Dior in Bev Hills on Monday celebrating his 28th birthday. Dude did a ton of shopping ... as one might expect after Lil Baby gifted him a cool $100k.

Gunna was telling us how he was going to top Lil Baby's gift when it comes time to return the favor -- and just as Gunna was dishing deets on how much he was going to drop for his own bday weekend a car rolls up and steals the show.

Watch the clip ... the dude in the car paid Gunna tons of compliments. And, when our photog told the fan it was Gunna's bday -- well, ya gotta see how the fan leveled up.

ICYMI ... Gunna said Lil Baby, who he refers to as his twin, gifted him $100k for his birthday.

This is getting beyond ridiculous -- cops say Kendall Jenner got yet another unwanted visitor this weekend ... and we're told the guy hurt himself while making a break for her home.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a 23-year-old man showed up at Kendall's gated community Saturday afternoon, and attempted to get through the security entrance because he wanted to see her.

We're told -- as with previous obsessed Kardashian/Jenner fans -- the security guards recognized the guy because they say he's made multiple attempts to get in before.

Our sources say he was once again turned away, but this time he got bold and jumped the wall to enter the community ... and cut his hand while doing so.

Cops were called, and we're told the suspect was nabbed before he reached Kendall's home. He was taken into custody and then to a hospital for his injury, before getting booked into jail for misdemeanor trespassing.

We're told he spent about 10 hours locked up before being released on his own recognizance.

As we've told you ... this is nothing new for Kendall and her siblings. She recently beefed up her security after a string of incidents, including a guy allegedly trying to go for a nude swim in her pool. A source close to Kendall told us she moved out of the home shortly after the incident and would not live there again. She has not yet listed it for sale.

That guy was sentenced to 180 days in jail, and both she and Kylie were granted long restraining orders.

Cristiano Ronaldo HATES processed drinks so much, he removed Coke bottles from his podium Monday ... all while imploring people to drink water instead.

Ronaldo's rejection of the sweet stuff went down just before a meeting with the media ahead of Portugal's UEFA Euro 2020 game with Hungary ... and the whole thing was caught on video.

You can see in the footage, just before reporters fired questions at the soccer star, he noticed Cokes placed in front of him (Coke is a sponsor of Euro 2020) and immediately gave them a look of disdain.

But, rather than just keeping the products there like tournament officials no doubt wanted -- Ronaldo straight-up grabbed the bottles and moved them out of his sight.

He then held up a bottle of water, screamed, "agua!" ... and then appeared to mumble something about the sodas.

Of course, Ronaldo's famous for his perfect body -- one that was built off of eating healthy and limiting processed foods ... and it's clear, the guy takes that all VERY seriously.

In fact, Ronaldo's been on record saying he absolutely HATES when his son drinks Cokes and eats fries!!

'Cause, after all, abs (and apparently great soccer players too) are made in the kitchen.

A woman was dragged down a flight of stairs by her hair at a bar, and the horrific act -- carried out by a security guard -- is sparking outrage and protests.

The ugly incident went down Saturday at Nellie's Sports Bar in Washington, D.C. ... a popular LGBTQ+ bar that had been packed following the city's Pride parade earlier in the day. In the video, you hear bar patron's shocked to see the security guard dragging a Black woman, and that shock quickly turned to anger.

Several bystanders started pummeling the security guard, who is Black, and all hell broke loose. A woman named Keisha Young says she was the victim, and told WUSA9 the trouble started when the bar staff mistook her for someone else.

She said, "[Security was] trying to get some other people out because somebody else brought a bottle in there. Somehow I got mixed up in an altercation because I look like somebody else and I got hit and dragged down the steps."

Protests erupted Sunday outside of Nellie's ... with dozens of protesters seen holding signs. Nellie's released a statement Sunday saying, "We were incredibly upset and disturbed to see the unfortunate event that took place at Nellie’s last night."

Nellie's management says it's going to conduct a full investigation into the matter. They added, "At Nellie’s we foster an inclusive and safe environment, so events like this are completely unacceptable to us."

A spokesperson for Metro PD said they didn't get any calls related to the incident.

Chrissy Teigen insists she's a changed woman who's become more empathetic since her days of Internet trolling ... but she's still trying to own up to her mistakes and better herself.

Chrissy's issued a more in-depth apology on the heels of the backlash she received last month when old tweets resurfaced ... in which she was mean and demeaning to Courtney Stodden.

Much like the last time around when Teigen publicly said sorry for her past behavior, she acknowledges she was "a troll, full stop," and is ashamed ... but she also admits it wasn't just Courtney who deserves an apology.

Chrissy doesn't name names, but says she's reaching out privately to other people she insulted in an attempt to make amends. Along with Stodden ... folks have pointed out that Lindsay Lohan and Farrah Abraham were past targets of Teigen's trolling.

Chrissy says ... "Many of them needed empathy, kindness, understanding and support, not my meanness masquerading as a kind of casual, edgy humor."

She goes on to offer an explanation for why she used to behave online the way she did, but says it's no excuse and was simply a manifestation of her own insecurities and immaturity.

Chrissy adds that she's done a lot of growing up since then, gotten a lot of therapy, and gone through many life experiences she claims have made her more empathetic and understanding ... and hopes people will give her a second chance.

CNN's Christiane Amanpour just told viewers she has ovarian cancer -- something she says she'll likely be able to survive ... all due to early detection.

The network's chief international affairs anchor broke the news Monday, announcing she'd recently been diagnosed ... adding that the reason she's been away from work lately is because she had "successful major surgery" to nip it in the bud.

Christiane says she's confident about the outcome, even as she begins several months of chemotherapy to deal with the cancer doctors weren't able to surgically remove.

As for her optimism -- CA attributes that to the fact that she found the cancer early via medical tests/screenings. Christiane made a plea to the women at home who might be watching ... urging them to listen to their bodies, and to get checked out early and often -- because detecting this disease as soon as possible is really half the battle.

The iconic journalist also encouraged women not to let doctors dismiss or diminish their concerns -- which seems to be getting at an important larger issue.

Rob Riggle's divorce has turned into a surveillance horror movie ... at least according to new legal docs in which the actor accuses his estranged wife of hacking him, taking his cash and spying on him via hidden camera.

We broke the story ... Riggle's wife, Tiffany, filed for divorce in October after 21 years of marriage, but Rob claims things got worse shortly after when $28,000 in emergency money went missing from his home office ... and he began to feel as if he was being watched.

According to the docs ... Riggle was staying at their smaller home, while Tiffany stayed with their 2 kids at the family home. He says he confronted Tiffany about the $28k because she had access to his pad, but she denied knowing anything about it.

Around the same time, Riggle alleges Tiffany hacked into his Apple account and downloaded his emails, texts, contacts and photos ... but then he says things got really strange.

Riggle claims Tiffany somehow had knowledge of private conversations he'd had in his home office either with or about his girlfriend and assistant, and she -- or other anonymous sources -- would text or email them referencing the private info.

Because of these alleged leaks, Riggle says he and his girlfriend formed a misinformation scheme, planting false info to test whether any of it later leaked out ... and sure enough, he claims his suspicions were confirmed.

So, according to the docs, Riggle had his home electronically swept for devices in April ... and claims a hidden spy camera was found in his smoke detector.

He says the device had a memory card with more than 10,000 videos with sound on it, and he believes it was installed in August 2020 and possibly monitored him until he discovered it.

And, get this -- Riggle claims one of the vids shows Tiffany standing on a ladder installing the spy camera, and another vid shows her sitting on the floor of his home office counting money ... which Rob believes is the $28k he says went missing.

You can drop the jokes ... Scott Disick is no longer dating a teenager, and he celebrated GF Amelia Hamlin's 20th birthday soiree by showering her with gold and diamonds.

Amelia and Scott partied in Miami to toast -- with sparkling cider, we're sure -- her getting one year closer to legal drinking age. They hit up Papi Steak restaurant Saturday night where Scott rolled out a massive five-tier cake.

The cake was gold and shiny -- much like her outfit -- and it was layered with photos of her in her underwear and a couple of others with her and Scott getting cozy. But, that was just the beginning.

Scott also shelled out a diamond-encrusted cross necklace, which she seemed pretty moved by ... based on the fact she was almost in tears when he put it around her neck.

The celebration comes nearly 1 month after she celebrated Scott's 38th birthday by giving him a Harley.
