"The Masked Singer" is off and running -- and so are their wild card contestants ... one of whom locked lips once upon a time with Jenny McCarthy. Question is ... who??? 👀

Here's the deal ... we've learned there will be two costumed crooners on Thursday's episode that come out of left field and are unpredictable in every sense of the word ... making 'em way harder to figure out than perhaps any other masked singer in the past. But ... we have a really good clue.

Production sources tell TMZ .... one of these wild cards actually made out with JMC in the past. Now, that isn't to say you can look at Jenny's dating history and figure it out, because, let's face it ... making out and dating are not necessarily one in the same. HOWEVER, we're told it could be someone she dated ... emphasis on COULD.

There's the Jim Carrey era, the Brian Urlacher days ... and then the Chris Hardwick rumors from MTV's 'Singled Out' days. We're not saying for sure it's any of these guys  -- but this is something of a road map.  The question ... is this the right road?

BTW, related but unrelated ... there's this new costume this season that it's absolutely wild -- and unlike anything any of us have seen before.

They call it ... Mother Nature, and it looks like just it sounds. Word is, the 'Masked Singer' team has been trying to get this puppy showcased for years. We're told producers felt the getup might be cursed, because they tried it twice before but each time the contestant had to drop out right before the show for personal reasons -- one was a Golden Globe-nominated actress and the other was a 2-time Emmy-winning actress -- but now, it's finally happening.

Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie had an aggressive and public dispute days before she allegedly disappeared -- and things got so bad, the couple was booted from a Wyoming restaurant ... according to a possible witness.

A woman named Nina Celie Angelo says she and her boyfriend were at The Merry Piglets, a restaurant in Jackson Hole, August 27 and spotted the couple in a "blowout of a situation." Angelo says Gabby and Brian were sitting at the table next to hers.

Angelo claims Gabby was hysterically crying, and at one point Brian and Gabby were even fighting with the restaurant hostess before Gabby went out and stood on the sidewalk.

Angelo says she doesn't know what started the fight, but thought it had to do with the bill.

Brian allegedly came back into the restaurant several times to argue with staff after Gabby left, and Angelo claims he had an "aggressive" demeanor.

We called Merry Piglets to ask about the incident, but they had no comment. They would not specify if they've spoken to authorities, but Nina said she's reported all this to law enforcement.

Brian allegedly returned to his parents' Florida home on September 1 ... without Gabby.

As we've reported, Gabby's body was discovered by investigators Sunday afternoon in Wyoming. After an autopsy, the coroner ruled her death a homicide, but has not released a cause of death yet.

Brian Laundrie would be better off dead than alive at this point in the Gabby Petito case -- at least that's how Geraldo Rivera feels ... despite there being so many unanswered questions.

The FOX News personality gave us his unfiltered take on the streets of NYC Wednesday when we asked what he made of the saga, and the fact that Brian is still nowhere to be found. In true Geraldo fashion, he did not hold back whatsoever -- he says the dude should off himself.

He's a little flip here, but GR seems to mean what he says ... adding Brian should have some dignity and spare us his hypothetical BS rationale -- assuming he's ultimately charged -- by just drowning himself in a Florida swamp.

Oof ... harsh.

Now, Geraldo does wind it back a little when our photog suggests Brian should give up and turn himself in -- conceding, yes, at the very least. You can tell he's fired up about this story, but there's a major problem with his solution.

It leaves too many loose ends, and wouldn't serve as true justice ... especially not for the Petito family, who are seeking the truth about what happened to Gabby and WHY.

Patrick Mahomes was clearly less than pleased to see his little brother pouring water on smack-talking Ravens fans ... telling reporters Wednesday, "Obviously it's something we don't necessarily want to do."

Jackson Mahomes was caught on camera dousing Baltimore supporters with a bottle of water following the Chiefs' loss at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday.

The video -- which shows fans jabbing at Jackson after the game before he tossed the liquid all over them -- quickly went viral ... and Patrick said in his weekly meeting with media members that he wasn't thrilled with it all.

The Chiefs star, though, did seem to at least understand the impulsive act ... saying, "There was things said to him and [my fiancée] Brittany that you don't see kind of on the clip."

Still, Patrick is hoping Jackson learns from the situation and deals with it in a different manner going forward.

"He's been good at not trying to respond to that stuff," Patrick said. "He takes a lot and he's usually pretty good at it."

"He'll learn from it and just try to stay away from those people best he can."

Kim Kardashian is heading into Studio 8H at 30 Rock to do it 'Live' -- she'll be appearing on 'SNL' this season.

Kim's taking up hosting duties for an episode to air October 9 for the upcoming 47th season.

There's also this ... Kim's accompanying musical guest will be Halsey -- who's hosted before. She's been featured a handful of times as the music act, but handled hosting in early 2019. So, Kim can lean on her for some tips.

This seems impossible, but none of the Kardashians have ever hosted with the "Live from New York" crew ... Kim will be the first. Aside from acting in several skits, the thing everyone will be watching for is her opening monologue.

As for how this came together ... we know Kim and Kris Jenner had a face-to-face with 'SNL' honcho Lorne Michaels just last month in Bev Hills -- something their team played down by saying it was just a simple catch-up. Obviously, there was more wheeling and dealing going on during their convo.

Some of the other hosts for this season include Owen Wilson, Rami Malek and Jason Sudeikis. Musical guests include Young Thug, Brandi Carlile and Kacey Musgraves.

It also goes without saying, this is a little risky for Kim ... as she and her family -- including Kanye -- are frequently lampooned by 'SNL.' There's an entire running sketch they've brought back a handful of times over the years, where cast members play Kardashian sisters.

If Jamie Spears opened the door to end his daughter's 13-year-long conservatorship, then Britney and her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, have just barreled through that door, because they've just filed documents setting the stage to end the conservatorship this Fall.

Rosengart just filed legal docs in which he agrees with Jamie Spears on one point -- the conservatorship no longer serves a legitimate purpose and should end immediately. Furthermore, Rosengart agrees with Jamie that the conservatorship should be terminated without any further medical evaluation ... something Britney expressed to the judge back in June.

Rosengart says there have been changed circumstances that warrant the end of the conservatorship ... namely, the judge already allowed Britney to select her own lawyer ... the point being she has the "capacity and capability to identify, engage, and instruct counsel of her own choice."

In the docs, Rosengart quotes Jamie's document, "If Ms. Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should get that chance." In effect, Brit and her lawyer are saying, True That!

Britney is asking that a "termination plan" be formulated immediately so the conservatorship could wind down in its entirety.

Now, the hearing a week from today is to get Jamie out of the conservatorship immediately, and Rosengart offered a litany of reasons why that must happen. He claims Jamie has raked in millions and he needs to be out immediately.

Rosengart says Jamie never had any business being a conservator ... he has no training in economics or finance and his own finances were in disarray.

Britney's lawyer says the judge should appoint a conservator of her estate on a temporary basis to replace Jamie while a plan is put in place to end the conservatorship altogether.

And, Rosengart confirms TMZ's story earlier this month ... that a family law attorney is already drafting a prenup between Britney and Sam, and the conservatorship of the estate may be needed to validate it.

Donald Trump just can't stop taking shots at Joe Biden ... this time he shaded the current POTUS out on the golf course, saying there's no way in hell #46 could outdrive him.

Donald threw the jabs after smashing a drive on a tee box in front a crowd of golfers ... saying, "You think Biden can hit a ball like that?!"

"He couldn't get it passed the first tee!"

The onlooking golfers loved the remarks ... cheering on Donald as he got back into his golf cart to set up for his second shot.

Of course, clowning Biden is nothing new for Trump, who also took a dig at the President during a boxing match news conference earlier this month.

At that event -- a pre-fight media sesh for the Vitor Belfort vs. Evander Holyfield clash -- Trump said he'd want to box Biden because he knows it'd be an easy victory.

"I think he'd go down very, very quickly," Donald said. "Very, very quickly."

Jenny McCarthy's all geared up for the new season of the insanely popular singing competition, "The Masked Singer," and says it will lead to a new kind of reveal ... of the judges' egos.

Jenny's one of 4 judges on the show -- along with Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger -- and she joined "TMZ Live" Wednesday to talk about its surprise success ... and what they're doing to keep it fresh on Season 6.

If ya haven't heard ... there's a brand new elimination twist -- the Take It Off Buzzer -- that allows the judges to guess the contestant's identity at any time if they are confident enough. And, if they're right ... that singer has to reveal themselves and go home.

Like Jenny says, it's a total game-changer and could lead to some glorious moments for the judges ... or humiliate them if they're wrong!!!

McCarthy also reminisced about how stunned she was when her hubby, Donnie Wahlberg, was revealed as one of the masked performers on Season 5 ... but listen to who she says really gave her a surprise as far as singing talent goes.

Gabby Petito's family's going after the lawyer for Brian Laundrie's family for using one of her photos on Yelp ... and they're warning him he better not do it again.

The Petitos' attorney, Richard Benson Stafford, sent a cease-and-desist letter to attorney Steven P. Bertolino demanding that he remove the photo of Gabby from his Yelp business page ... and gave him a deadline of 2 PM Wednesday.

It seems Bertolino complied, because Gabby's pic no longer appears there, but Yelp has added a notice to his page saying his business is being monitored.

In addition, Gabby's family's warning Laundrie's family lawyer to not use any of her photos on any of his other accounts -- social media or otherwise -- to promote his business ... or they'll take legal action.

As of now, it doesn't look like Bertolino has any other accounts featuring photos of her.

Obviously, the situation between the 2 families is very tense ... as the coroner has ruled Gabby's death a homicide and her fiance, Brian -- a person of interest believed to be the last person who saw her alive -- is also missing.

With all that happening, legal issues are inevitable ... and this seems to be just the start.

Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox are taking their FIRST bite of an apple together -- as in, simultaneously -- and they're doing it for Kourt's sis. Anything for family!!!

The duo -- whose BFs, Travis Barker and MGK are tight -- are featured in a new promo for SKIMS's Cotton collection, rocking the line's Jersey Dipped Thong and the Jersey Triangle Bralette. We doubt many of you are looking at the clothing, though, because Meg and Kourt are abs-to-abs and one red apple away from locking lips.

Photog Donna Trope's hot shot seemingly confirms these 2 are now tied at the hip, beyond just their guys.

In fact, Kourtney and Megan shared some screen time just over a week ago at the VMAs -- where they threw to their boos' joint performance ... calling them "our future baby daddies."

There've been other outings among the quartet -- but this really cements their bond.

As for how exactly it came to be ... we're hearing it was all Kim's doing, who thought it'd be a fun and creative way to showcase her collection. Also, these 2 ladies are absolute smoke shows -- and a get-together like this is sure to get people talking. Go figure, right?

Gabby Petito's death has put her fiance, Brian Laundrie, in the crosshairs of law enforcement, but TMZ has learned prosecutors are not making a move until 2 primary loose ends are tied up.

Law enforcement sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Laundrie is their suspect, despite the fact he's being officially called a person of interest. That said, we're told federal prosecutors are now in a waiting game, in large part because they don't know if Laundrie is still alive.

What's more ... our law enforcement sources tell TMZ, even if Gabby was murdered -- which seems to be the case since the Coroner has already ruled her death a homicide -- they would need to prove who did it. Our sources point out, it's possible Laundrie left Gabby out in the wilderness and someone else killed her ... whether it's probable or not, it's still possible.

As for why federal prosecutors will handle the case, it's because Gabby was apparently killed in the Grand Teton National Park, which is federal land.

We're told law enforcement is viewing Laundrie as their prime suspect, but there's a leap between that and actually charging someone with murder.

As we reported, a witness called 911 and told the dispatcher Laundrie had slapped and hit Gabby shortly before she went missing.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are moving their family down south for the winter, or so it seems, because they just scooped up a luxury home ... while still having 2 others on the market.

The still-pretty-new parents -- their daughter Willa recently turned 1 -- have bought a home in Miami for a whopping $11 million ... a waterfront property located in the exclusive island community, Bay Point.

The place is a mansion -- 10,416 square feet with 6-beds, 8.5-baths, gym, swimming pool, spa, sauna, fireplace, wine cellar, indoor gardens and a koi pond ... and plenty of space to raise a toddler.

It seems the singer and the "Game of Thrones" star got a pretty good deal too, because the place hit the market for $12 mil last year.

What's interesting about this home purchase is the timing -- Joe and Sophie just listed their 15,000 sq. ft. Encino mansion for nearly $17 mil in early summer ... but it doesn't seem it's sold yet.

Likewise, they listed their Manhattan pad about a year ago for nearly $6 mil, but there's no report of a sale there either.

Move over, 50 Cent, there's a new worst first pitch of all time ... courtesy of Conor McGregor's ceremonial toss at the Cubs game on Tuesday!!!

The sharply-dressed UFC superstar strutted to the mound for the first pitch before the Cubbies faced off against the Minnesota Twins at Wrigley Field ... and chucked his attempt about 20 feet to the right of home plate.

As Harry Doyle would say, it was "juuuuuust a bit outside."

On a positive note, McGregor's repaired leg looked great!

The fighter was a great sport about it all ... dapping up Cubs infielder Patrick Wisdom after the wild pitch.

Of course, this is Conor we're talking about ... so we're assuming (and hoping) he was just trying to give fans a fun time.

Then again, we've seen him throw a football before ... and he was mocked incessantly for that, too.

It's a safe bet Conor's pitch will now take honors for "worst first pitch ever" from Fiddy, who had a straight-up embarrassing toss that went wide left before a Mets game in 2014.

Conor's been living it up while rehabbing his leg ... from hanging with Justin Bieber to attending the VMAs (where he also tested out his arm with a different object) and hitting up just about every hotspot L.A. has to offer.

Never change, Conor ... but maybe try some practice throws next time???

Britney Spears paid tribute to her teenage sons who she says are growing up way too fast for her.

The singer got emotional expressing a mother's love after Sean and Jayden celebrated their birthdays last week. Jayden turned 15 on September 12 and Sean turned 16 two days later ... Brit shares custody of her kids with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Britney said, "My boys' birthdays were last week ... and unfortunately they are growing up and want to do their own things ... I have to ask their permission to post them because they are extremely independent little men."

She said it's astonishing to her how fast they're growing up ... literally and figuratively. She said it makes her crazy "because they are so tall and geez they are still growing." What's more ... Brit said the boys went to a dance last week ... and it made her emotional.

Britney said, "They went to a dance last week and I cried for two days. My babies in a suit!!! It's crazy!!! And girls get ready cause my boys are so handsome!!!"

The tribute, of course, comes one day after the singer deleted her Instagram. Remember, she took it down for all of 7 days but returned to update her fans about her weekend getaway to Palm Springs to celebrate Sam Asghari popping the question.

Donald Trump is suing his niece and the New York Times for publishing deets from his tax returns -- something he says broke a confidentiality agreement she signed with him.

The former President just filed suit against the nation's paper of record as well as one Mary Trump for allegedly getting in cahoots to obtain, share and publish his personal tax info in a wide-ranging story ... which DT says is a big no-no ... considering what he claims Mary agreed to years ago.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Trump alleges Mary agreed to keep the financial info confidential as part of a settlement with Trump and others back in the early 2000s -- and he claims that barred her from sharing such info. He also claims she conspired with the Times to get her hands on the tax info ... claiming they were "motivated by a personal vendetta[.]"

Trump also says this ... a reporter for the Times allegedly approached Mary relentlessly in an effort to seek these documents, which he suggests they knew were off-limits, making them just as responsible as she is for disclosing them. It's a bold claim -- and one that might be difficult to prove.

The First Amendment is wide-reaching and protects publications against this exact sort of thing -- namely, that if they get their hands on material, legally, they have every right to publish.

Trump, however, is alleging the exact opposite ... that they broke the law to obtain this stuff, which he and his lawyers will now be tasked with proving in court.

Mary has since responded to word of the lawsuit, calling her uncle a "loser" and characterized this as a desperate move. NYT says writing their stories on Trump's taxes -- which they claim showed he'd been paying little to no taxes while also absorbing massive losses in his business empire -- were of public interest.

Anthony Johnson's death has left his family scrambling to find a way to cover his burial -- something his wife says isn't being made easy with the empty lip service they're getting.

Lexis Jones Mason tells TMZ ... she and her family have been getting a ton of what she describes as "fake love" left and right in the wake of her husband's sudden passing earlier this month ... which she's quite upset about, seeing how she needs financial assistance.

This interview's heartbreaking -- Lexis fights back tears as she explains how the Johnson family has started a GoFundMe, but have come up way short of the $20k goal they set to properly bury him and give him the service he deserves ... so far raising less than $800.

And, in spite of people apparently telling her they'd donate and chip in ... Lexis says much of that just hasn't materialized, and seems folks would rather lend emotional support instead of actually helping out in a way they really need right now.

Lexis isn't asking for a handout either, BTW ... literally just enough to do right by Anthony. And, as many know, funerals are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.

While she says she doesn't expect anything from anyone, Lexis would absolutely appreciate any donations friends or fans of AJ could contribute. And, if no one comes through, Lexis says she'll probably cremate him -- and will go back to work ASAP to cover that on her own.
