TMZ Sports has obtained Adrian Peterson's mug shot stemming from his DWI arrest over the weekend ... and it's clear from the photo, the NFL legend was not thrilled to be behind bars.

Check it out ... Peterson, wearing a dark colored top, looked completely stoic in the snap and his eyes did appear to have a tinge of red to them. There, however, was not much else remarkable about the pic.

We broke the story ... Peterson was booked in a Fort Bend County, Texas jail on Sunday on one count of unlawful carrying of a weapon and one count of DWI.

Kevin Love is backpedaling after mocking Chauncey Billups and Terry Rozier's arrests ... saying after having a conversation with Damian Lillard, he now understands it's not a laughing matter.

Love -- who currently plays for the Utah Jazz -- shared his immediate reaction to the bombshell news in an Instagram post on Thursday ... shortly after the FBI arrested the Trail Blazers coach and Miami Heat guard in a gambling scandal.

He published an edited image of Billups and Rozier's faces onto the infamous "Coldplay couple", that was caught being cuddly on camera at a concert, with a caption that read: "NO (Draft) KINGS!!!"

College basketball star Tavion Banks -- who helped lead Drake to the second round of the NCAA tournament last year -- was arrested over the weekend for allegedly being involved in a drunken bar fight.

The 6-foot-7 wing, who transferred to the Univ. of Iowa this past offseason, was taken into custody at around 1:16 AM on Saturday, after he was accused of getting in an altercation at ReUnion Brewery, a popular Iowa City spot that's a 13-minute walk from the UI campus.

Specific details surrounding the incident are still not yet known, but court documents state Banks was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, fighting/violent behavior.

4:13 PM PT -- Omaha's Mayor John Ewing just released a full statement ... acknowledging he's aware of the incident -- and, he's promised to ensure the impending internal investigation will be thorough and transparent.

Mayor Ewing is asking members of the community to try to remember the triumphant spectacle of the parade yesterday instead of focusing simply on the unforutnate circumstances surrounding how it ended ... and, he says he's committed to make every resident feel safe in Omaha.

Terence Crawford was forced out of a car at gunpoint by a police officer with the tense exchange caught on video ... and, it's leading to an internal investigation.

Video is circulating online showing the boxer slowly unbuckling his seatbelt, opening his door and stepping out of the car ... while an officer at his window holds a flashlight in one hand and a gun in the other.

The officer repeatedly tells Crawford to step out ... and, he replies at one point, "I ain't reaching for no gun" -- with his hands up the whole time.

When Marcus Morris was arrested at an airport last month after he allegedly committed fraud, Florida cops not only threw him handcuffs -- they wrapped his ankles in shackles too.

The stunning visuals were all captured on new police video, obtained by TMZ Sports.

In the body camera footage, you can see officers from the Broward County Sheriff's Office approach Morris and his family on July 27 while they were waiting at a gate at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was deported from the United States to Mexico ... but the star boxer isn't roaming free in his home country -- instead, he's cooling his heels in a jail cell after American authorities turned him over to officials south of the border.

Chavez Jr. was deported from an undisclosed location in America on August 18 ... after 46 days in U.S. custody. Shortly before noon, he was transferred to a high-security prison in Hermosillo, Sonora.

JCC Jr. remains in Mexican custody.

Sha'Carri Richardson's recent domestic violence arrest apparently hasn't impacted her ability to sell shoes -- the track star is front and center on Nike's official website.

Richardson's imagery is currently plastered all over the Swoosh's store to help promote the Vomero Plus sneaker ... showing an edited image of her posing on top of the product, with her hand and signature fingernails holding it up.

It's quite interesting considering the Olympic medalist was arrested less than two weeks ago after getting physical with her boyfriend, fellow Team USA athlete Christian Coleman, at a Seattle airport after an apparent dispute over headphones ... which was captured on surveillance video.

10:14 AM PT -- The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office tells TMZ Sports ... "This case was dropped as the victim is declining to prosecute per her victim attorney, Lindsey Chase, Esq. and her sentiments we directly confirmed by the Assistant State Attorney handling the prosecution."

"The witness to the incident, who is the victim’s mother, also failed to cooperate and failed, after being subpoenaed for a prefile conference on Thursday 8/7. Followed up attempts to contact the witness (mother) via phone were unsuccessful."

It continued, "The incident itself was not observed by the police officer who had been called to the scene eliminating him as a possible witness to what had transpired."

Gervonta Davis' domestic violence case has been dropped, TMZ Sports confirmed.

Sha'Carri Richardson is finally opening up on her domestic violence arrest ... apologizing to Christian Coleman for her actions, while vowing to get help.

The Olympic gold medalist took to her Instagram page to address her July 27 run-in with cops for the first time publicly ... and in a video, she expressed remorse for her behavior.

Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward is behind bars once again ... this time after his attorney claims he violated conditions of his bond stemming from the June incident in which he allegedly strangled his fiancée.

Ward -- who secured two interceptions last season -- was taken into custody Thursday night in Montgomery County, Texas on a warrant tied to a felony offense, jail records show.

Ward's lawyer, Steve Jackson, told TMZ Sports the NFL player was forced to spend the night in a cell after he tested positive for alcohol -- a violation of one of the stipulations of his bond.

Sha'Carri Richardson forcefully shoved her boyfriend multiple times during a dispute at an airport last month before appearing to throw something at him, new video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows.

The incident took place on July 27 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in King County, Wash. ... and you can see in surveillance footage we just got, the Olympic gold medalist appeared furious with her partner, Christian Coleman.

Gilbert Arenas was one happy camper leaving jail Wednesday after his arrest for allegedly hosting high-stakes illegal poker games.
