UPDATE
Meanwhile, Lanez is already lying face down and sprawled out in the middle of the street.
UPDATE
After Meg sits down on the sidewalk, the other woman in the vehicle is asked to come out. As we told you, she can be heard saying, "My hands are up" as she follows the cops' instructions.
UPDATE
All 3 people appear to be in swimwear. According to Megan's Instagram story, she and Lanez were at Kylie Jenner's pool party earlier in the night.
UPDATE
12:07 PM PT -- The LAPD tells TMZ Megan never told them she was the victim of a crime. The spokesperson said, "At the time Megan Thee [Stallion] was with police she did not report that she was the victim of any crime. And the LAPD has not received any additional information at this time."
Megan Thee Stallion was shot in the foot early Sunday morning ... when she and Tory Lanez were pulled over, and he got arrested for gun charges.
Megan says, “The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight. On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me."

Megan does not say who pulled the trigger, but she wants to make it clear ... she did nothing wrong. She adds, "I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.”
As we reported, police were responding to reports of multiple gunshots outside a Hollywood Hills party were Meg and Tory had been.
LAPD found a handgun in the SUV that was driving Tory, Meg and another woman -- and Tory was booked for possession of a concealed weapon. As for Megan's injuries ... our law enforcement sources say she told the cops that night she had cut her foot on glass -- that's why officers took her to the hospital for treatment.
To this point ... police have NOT connected Tory to the shots that were fired outside the party.
The Twitter accounts of some of the most high-profile celebs, politicians and business leaders around have been hacked ... and it appears it's all part of a massive Bitcoin scam.
The hack began Wednesday afternoon and is ongoing, but it seems to have started with Elon Musk. Around 4 PM ET, the Tesla founder's Twitter account was seemingly compromised by a hacker ... and it tweeted out a message asking users to send $1,000 to his Bitcoin address and they'd get $2k in return.
Shortly afterward, Bill Gates' account tweeted out a similar message with the identical BTC address. The hacker or hackers are continuing to rack up victims by posting the scam on other accounts ... including those of Kanye West, Jeff Bezos, Joe Biden, Mike Bloomberg, Barack Obama and most recently, Kim Kardashian West.
Gates' people were quick to respond to the hack, saying ... "We can confirm that this tweet was not sent by Bill Gates. This appears to be part of a larger issue that Twitter is facing. Twitter is aware and working to restore the account."
Some of the scam tweets are being deleted, but then follow-up tweets are going up just as quickly ... or popping up elsewhere.
Breathe a sigh of relief ... Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been sprung from the hospital, and she's back at home recovering.
The Supreme Court Justice was discharged Wednesday from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, one day after she was admitted with a possible infection after experiencing fever and chills.
An S.C. spokesperson says ... "She is home and doing well."
The 87-year-old underwent an endoscopic procedure Tuesday afternoon to clean out a bile duct stent that she got last August. It was initially reported she'd be receiving antibiotic treatments and hospitalized for a few days.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg is back in the hospital and is being treated for a possible infection.
The Supreme Court Justice was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital early Tuesday morning for treatment. She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., Monday night after experiencing fever and chills.
RBG underwent an endoscopic procedure at Johns Hopkins this afternoon to clean out a bile duct stent that she got last August. The 87-year-old Justice is now resting comfortably and will stay in the hospital for a few days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment.
You'll recall Ginsburg was discharged from the hospital a little over 2 months ago after she was treated for a benign gallbladder condition. She's one tough cookie though. Remember, she's been treated for cancer 4 times.
6:32 PM PT -- 7/13 -- Allentown PD just released surveillance video from the incident, which cops say was captured from across the street.
UPDATE
In the video, you see the moment cops and the man fall to the ground and the ensuing struggle, plus the cop putting his knee to the man's neck and eventually taking it off.
UPDATE
6:25 AM PT -- 7/13 -- The Allentown Police Department announced there's an investigation into this incident being reviewed by the Lehigh County D.A.'s Office, and the department's also conducting an internal investigation over use of force. The D.A. has also assigned 2 county detectives to the investigation.
UPDATE
Allentown PD says part of the investigation will include reviewing the video posted on social media, witness statements and additional videos of the interaction.
UPDATE
Allentown PD says this all began when APD officers observed a male outside a hospital who was vomiting and staggering on the street. They say the erratic behavior resulted in cops and hospital staff interacting with the individual, who began to yell, scream and spit at officers and hospital staff.
UPDATE
Cops say, "as the officers attempted to restrain the individual, all parties fell to the ground." They say the individual continued to be noncompliant which required officers to restrain the individual. The man was escorted to a hospital for treatment and later released.
UPDATE
The D.A.'s office is expected to issue a statement when its review is complete later this week.
A Pennsylvania city is the latest to deal with the outrage over cops holding a man down with a knee to the neck ... and the incident was captured on video, quite by accident.
A man was driving on a street in Allentown Saturday afternoon when he saw cops trying to subdue a man. A few seconds into the video you see an officer in the same position that killed George Floyd and others.
The man recording the incident says what he's watching makes it clear ... black lives don't matter to these cops.
Famed Civil Rights Attorney Ben Crump was among the outraged, saying, "Allentown Police held down this man's face to the pavement and then one of its officers placed their knee on his neck!! This happened yesterday and is exactly what led to #GeorgeFloyd's death. We need this officers name and bade# NOW #ICantBreathe."
The police dept. recently banned the use of chokeholds and other neck restraints, so at the very least this would seem to violate department policy.
@DanMoscaritolo / Twitter
Protests erupted in the area -- organized by Black Lives Matter -- once the video was posted on social media. The Mayor and Police Chief showed up to keep the peace.
It's unclear why police were trying to subdue the man. Police have not released any details, including the man's condition.
2:26 PM PT -- Sheriff Bill Ayub says they’re confident the body discovered in Lake Piru today is Naya Rivera, and there’s nothing to indicate any foul play took place or she died by suicide ... this was simply a tragic accidental drowning death.
UPDATE
Ayub says Rivera was discovered in the northeast portion of the lake, near the surface of the water. Her body will be taken to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy and positive identification.
UPDATE

UPDATE
The sheriff says investigators used FaceTime calls Naya had with family members to help focus their search, along with speaking to other people who rented boats the day she went missing and saw her on the water.
UPDATE
Ayub says based on a conversation with Naya’s son, the 2 went for a swim, and she was able to boost him back on the boat ... but when he turned around she disappeared below the surface.
UPDATE
The current was apparently very strong the day Naya went missing and Ayub says it may have contributed to her drowning. He says her boat was not anchored when she went for a swim with her son.
UPDATE
Naya's family was taken to her in a boat after her body was discovered.
UPDATE
1:40 PM PT -- The Ventura County Sheriff's Department is set to hold a press conference at 2 PM PT about the recovery of Naya's body. It's unclear if any friends or family will speak ... but TMZ will be live streaming.
UPDATE
1:11 PM PT -- A powerful moment just occurred at Lake Piru, where Naya's body was found Monday morning -- fellow costars of hers from "Glee" stood shoulder to shoulder with members of Naya's family ... holding hands and looking out at the water.
UPDATE
UPDATE
There's also this eerie fact -- Cory Monteith, who was a lead on the show in its heyday, died 7 years ago on the same day Naya's body was discovered ... July 13. He was killed in 2013 by a deadly cocktail of intoxicants, including heroin and alcohol.
Naya Rivera's body has been recovered from Lake Piru ... TMZ has learned.
Ventura County officials said Monday that a body had been found at the lake, and our law enforcement sources have confirmed it is, in fact, her. A press conference sharing the news publicly is forthcoming.
As we reported ... Naya and her 4-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, were swimming in Lake Piru when something terrible happened Wednesday. Josey got back in the boat and when authorities arrived for a check, he told them he and his mom were swimming and he didn't know what happened to her.
Naya made a name for herself as a child actress and model, who appeared in various national TV commercials. She landed the role of Hillary Winston on "The Royal Family" at just 4 years old. She received a nomination for a Young Artist Award.
Naya's big break came in 2009 when she landed the role of Santana Lopez on the FOX hit series, "Glee." She was a talented singer ... signing with Columbia Records in 2011. That same year ... she was part of the "Glee" ensemble nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "Don't Stop Believin'."
In 2013, she released a single, "Sorry," featuring Big Sean, whom she dated and was briefly engaged to in 2013, before ending the relationship in 2014.
Naya later dated Josey's father, actor Ryan Dorsey, marrying him in Cabo San Lucas in July 2014. They divorced in 2018 and had been sharing custody of Josey.
She was also no stranger to the big screen ... making her debut in 2014 in the horror film "At the Devil's Door." She also appeared on Lifetime's "Devious Maids."
Last time we saw her was in October 2018 at LAX, ... where we talked to her about doing her own lobbying for a part in Steven Spielberg's flick, "West Side Story."
2:06 PM PT -- Dianna Ploss just got fired from her radio gig in New Hampshire. WSMN 1590 issued the following statement, "Dianna Ploss is no longer associated or affiliated in any way with WSMN or Bartis-Russell Broadcasting, LLC."
UPDATE
They added, "We at WSMN value freedom of speech, freedom of expression and assembly. We will not tolerate discrimination, racism or hatred. We continue to present and offer on air opportunities for discussion, education and the exchange of opinions and ideas."
A radio host in New Hampshire went on a vile, racist tirade against a group of workers doing their job, because they dared to speak Spanish.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
It's almost unbelievable ... Dianna Ploss saw the workers who were doing landscaping in downtown Nashua, and she just went nuts, screaming, "It's America. Speak English!"
Her ignorance is breathtaking ... she assumes they're working for the State of New Hampshire, as if that would justify her comments. For the record, there's no law in New Hampshire that we found prohibiting people from speaking languages other than English.
They correct her, saying they are a private company, but she's not deterred, hurling insults and making ridiculous demands.
An African-American man who happened to witness her tirade comes by and confronts her, and she barks back, "Because he's a black man. He's gonna protect the brown man from this white woman." Afterward, she posted on her Facebook page, "I'm not backing down."
We've seen a lot of racist videos, but rarely is the person who shoots it the racist herself. BTW ... Ploss reportedly quit her job in 2016 to campaign for Trump.
There's a petition circulating for her to get the ax from her radio station. Hopefully, the petition is written in English and Spanish.
An Indiana man is proud of himself this weekend, thinking he cleverly combined 2 symbols of hate -- the Confederate flag, and a noose. And, he has them displayed on the back of his pickup truck.
Man from Indiana doesn't think the noose on the back of his Confederate truck is racist pic.twitter.com/8UgczAKtV1
The man was in Bedford, Indiana when he recorded himself next to his pickup truck with the flag adhered to the back. Draped over the flag -- a noose.
He and one of his cohorts joked that it was just a leash for his dog, which itself is thinly-veiled dog-whistling. The men joked they couldn't understand why someone would leave a note on their car in disapproval.
These racist episodes are all the more troubling because the people who are spewing hate are the ones recording themselves doing it and then posting it on social media.

Law enforcement says it typically takes 7 to 10 days for a body to rise to the surface.
UPDATE
5:29 AM PT -- Authorities are now saying they're treating the case as a possible drowning and they suspended the search overnight. The search continues at first light, but the Ventura County Sheriff says they now believe Naya may have lost her life in the lake.

Ventura County Sheriff's deputies found the 4-year-old boy on the boat -- presumably rented by Naya -- shortly before 5 PM on Lake Piru, but Naya was not there. Law enforcement sources tell us her son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, told deputies his mom had jumped in the water ... but didn't come back up.
Divers immediately started searching the lake, but so far there's no sign of the "Glee" star. The search was suspended due to nightfall, but it's expected to resume Thursday, shortly after sunrise.
We're told Rivera's life jacket was still in the boat and Josey was asleep when the boat was first found. Josey is okay and is now with family members. Naya and the boy's father, Ryan Dorsey, divorced in 2018 and share custody of Josey.
The L.A. County man who was found hanged on a tree died from suicide ... according to the Medical Examiner and the Sheriff's Department.
Investigators announced their findings Thursday in the Robert Fuller case. His death on June 10 in Palmdale, CA had sparked outrage ... given it came a week after another black man -- 38-year-old Malcolm Harsch -- had been found hanging from a tree in Victorville, from an apparent suicide.
The M.E.'s report confirmed the initial investigation into the 24-year-old man's death. While cops ruled it a suicide ... his family and friends demanded an investigation.
Fuller's death also came at the height of nationwide protests triggered by George Floyd's death.
Fox 11
Investigators say they found Robert suspended from a tree branch by his neck from a braided rope and a cloth fabric. They also said there were no defensive wounds observed on his body or any signs he attempted to remove the rope from his neck. They say they also observed several prominent linear scars on Fuller's left wrist consistent with suicidal intent.
Commander Chris Marks also mentioned there's a documented history of mental illness and self-harm ... adding Fuller had been admitted to hospitals in California, Arizona and Nevada after expressing he wanted to kill himself.
A passerby discovered Fuller hanging from a tree outside Palmdale City Hall at around 3:39 AM. Paramedics were called and Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yes, a 2-year-old colt named "Fauci" -- after Dr. Anthony Fauci -- got the WIN at Keeneland race track Thursday in Lexington, KY ... and you better believe it kept its distance from the competition!!
"Fauci" was named back in March to honor the COVID-19 expert's knowledge and contributions during the pandemic ... and he's been performing pretty damn well so far.
In fact, Fauci galloped to a 2nd place finish at Belmont Park in its debut race back in June!
And, just weeks later, the horse was a 5/2 favorite going into the race at Keeneland ... and again, performed like a champ!!
Hopefully, this becomes some sort of sign that things will get better with the coronavirus in the U.S. ... but then again, maybe it just means that's one fast thoroughbred.
Keep wearing your masks, people ... and enjoy the win, Fauci.
The driver who plowed into protesters on a Seattle freeway, killing one and seriously injuring another, was just charged with vehicular homicide.
The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office filed new charges Wednesday against Dawit Kelete for the fatal crash, which happened in the early hours of July 4 on a stretch of the I-5 that was closed to traffic.
Kelete is charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault and reckless driving. He is in jail after prosecutors asked a judge to hold him on $1.2 million bail.
Prosecutors say Kelete, who was initially arrested and charged with 2 counts of vehicular assault, could be hit with additional charges pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the State Patrol and FBI. His initial charges were upgraded Wednesday because one of the protesters died after the incident.
24-year old Summer Taylor is the protester who died later that night in the hospital. The other protester who was injured, Diaz Love, remains in the ICU in serious condition.

George Floyd was startled by cops when they first arrived on the scene that led to his death ... because he claimed he'd been shot before.
Thomas Lane -- one of the former officers charged in Floyd's death -- is seeking to have his charges dismissed ... and included transcripts from bodycam footage as evidence.
The transcripts are from 2 body-worn cameras -- Lane's and his codefendant, J. Alexander Kueng -- and they show Floyd seemingly unsettled as Lane approached, briefly drew his weapon and told Floyd to show his hands.
According to the transcript, Floyd said ... "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. God dang man. Man, I got shot. I got shot the same way, Mr. Officer, before."
Lane then asked a woman who was in the car with Floyd why he was "getting all squirrelly" and not showing his hands right away, and "just being all weird like that?" ... to which the woman suggested maybe "because he's been shot before."
The transcript from Kueng's camera reveals he then helped escort Floyd from his vehicle across the street to sit down, at which time Floyd thanked him and gave his ID info then said ... "I got shot last time, same thing, man."
Kueng then informed Floyd he was being detained on suspicion of passing a fake bill, which led to a struggle by Kueng and Lane to get him into the back of a squad car ... which eventually led to him going to the ground and Derek Chauvin's involvement, as seen in the notorious video.
According to the transcript, while Floyd was on the ground, one of the officers said ... "Man, you going to die of a heart attack. Just get in the car."
As they continued to restrain Floyd on the ground, Lane asked, "Should we get his legs up?" ... but was shut down by Chauvin and Kueng. As the officers continued to debate whether Floyd was high on something, Floyd continued to plead that he couldn't breathe, saying ... "I can't breathe. Please, your knee on my neck. I can't breathe, sh*t."
According to the Kueng transcript, Floyd's final words were "I can't breathe," followed by "Please sir, please" and a final "Please." At this point, Lane asked if they should move him on his side but was again told no by Chauvin, who added ... "That's why we got the ambulance coming." Lane responded, "Okay, I suppose," but later expressed concern Floyd was about to pass out.
Lane filed a motion Wednesday to dismiss the charges against him -- aiding and abetting second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter Wednesday -- arguing he "did not intentionally aid, advise, hire, counsel, or conspire with [Derek] Chauvin or otherwise procure Chauvin to commit second-degree murder."
Stanford University just announced it's eliminating a whopping 11 varsity sports after the 2020-21 school year ... and it's all thanks to COVID-19.
The school went public with its decision in an open letter Wednesday ... officially canceling the following programs: men's and women's fencing, field hockey, lightweight rowing, men's rowing, co-ed and women's sailing, squash, synchronized swimming, men's volleyball and wrestling.
FYI -- Stanford currently has the second-most varsity sports in the nation with 36 ... 4 sports shy of Harvard.
"This is heartbreaking news to share," Stanford officials said in the letter. "These 11 programs consist of more than 240 incredible student-athletes and 22 dedicated coaches."
"They were built by more than 4,000 alumni whose contributions led to 20 national championships, 27 Olympic medals, and an untold number of academic and professional achievements."
The school says it was already anticipating a $12 million deficit in 2021 ... and the pandemic increased its expectation to a $25 million loss ... forcing the cuts.
Stanford says it will honor all scholarships and contracts for the remaining students and coaches if they decide to stay at the school ... and will help those who decide to leave.
So, why these 11 sports?? The school says it took a number of factors into account ... with fan interest and Title IX requirements being part of the decision.
Stanford joins UConn ... which eliminated 4 sports programs last month.
The NASCAR superstar has been cleared by doctors to get back on the track after testing positive for coronavirus on Friday.
In other words, he beat COVID!
As we previously reported, the 7-time NASCAR champ -- one of the biggest names in racing -- pulled out of the Brickyard 400 race in Indianapolis over the weekend after testing positive on Friday afternoon.
But, since that day ... he was re-tested on two separate occasions -- Monday and Tuesday -- and the tests came up negative for COVID.
JJ's team -- Hendrick Motorsports -- says the driver was cleared by his physician Tuesday evening in accordance with NASCAR guidelines and will compete in his #48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE in this weekend’s Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway.
Hendrick Motorsports notes 44-year-old Johnson "never experienced symptoms."
Jimmie issued a statement saying, "My family is so grateful for the incredible love and support we’ve received over the last several days."
"I especially want to thank Justin Allgaier for stepping in for me at Indy and being a true pro. I’m excited about getting back to business with my team this weekend."
More good news ... after JJ's initiative positive test, 4 Hendrick Motorsports crew members were tested -- and their tests have all come back negative.
Moving forward, Hendrick Motorsports says it will continue to administer daily COVID-19 screenings at the team facilities; the separation of facility operations and traveling personnel; split work schedules; stringent face covering and social distancing requirements; and an increased level of disinfecting and sanitization of all work areas.
