Fashion Nova Sued Quit Hopping on Playboy's Bunny!!!

Fashion Nova's pimping a new bunny costume that looks real familiar to anyone who's read Playboy -- for the articles, of course -- at least that's the magazine's claim in a new lawsuit.

Playboy's pissed at Fashion Nova for rolling out new bunny costumes, just in time for Halloween, which it claims are plainly "an attempt to piggyback off the popularity and renown of Playboy's iconic bunny costume."

Translation: Quit bitin' our bunny!

In docs, obtained by TMZ, Playboy says Fashion Nova completely ripped off its iconic costume -- which includes cuffs, collar, bowtie, corset, ribbon name tag, bunny ears and tail -- and is selling them as Halloween costumes on its website. According to the suit, Fashion Nova's even using the description "Bunny of the Month," which Playboy says is a clear reference to its Playmate of the Month trademark.

The magazine says when the general public thinks of the Playboy brand, "one of the first things that come to mind is the Playboy Bunnies and their iconic costumes."

In the suit, Playboy says it sent Fashion Nova a cease and desist, yet it continues to market and sell the costume. Playboy's suing for trademark infringement and wants a judge to shut down all sales of Fashion Nova's bunny costumes.

We've reached out to Fashion Nova, so far no word back.

Cam Newton Responds to Jeff Garcia 'You're Right' But I'm Not Changing My Style

UPDATE

8:49 AM PT -- Newton heard Garcia's criticism loud and clear ... and instead of firing back, he's saying the dude's RIGHT for going at him ... but will never change the way he dresses.

UPDATE

"You know what’s crazy, I agree with him," Cam told WEEI's "The Greg Hill Show." ... "And, the fact that he’s a former player, he has every right to say that."

UPDATE
UPDATE

"And, until that happens, so be it. But, that’s another opinionated theory, and it’s fair to say."

UPDATE

He added ... "I know I come off to so many different people so many different ways, and that’s fine. You know what, he’s exactly right. But, I’m not changing the way I dress. I’m sorry."

Wow! Jeff Garcia really hates Cam Newton's style these days -- saying the QB should only dress swaggy when he's winning!!!

The ex-49ers quarterback unloaded on Cam during an appearance on "NBC Sports Bay Area" following the 49ers shellacking of Cam's New England Patriots.

Cam played so poorly in the 33-6 loss (3 INTs, 0 TDs), he was yanked in the 3rd quarter for Jarrett Stidham. It's the Pats 3rd loss in a row. They're 2-6 in the season.

Despite the issues on the field, Cam still dresses ... like Cam! With wild looks, crazy hats -- you know the style!

But, Garcia ain't cool with it -- essentially saying Cam's fashion choices prove he only cares about himself.

"You go into this game with 2 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, you threw what, 3 more interceptions? You get yanked in the 2nd half, there’s nothing good going your way. Why are you dressing like that to bring more attention to yourself?"

Garcia continued ... "I’d be trying to ask the equipment managers 'Put me in your jock sock cart and sneak me in the back door and I’ll show up on the field and do the best that I can.'"

When asked if he was speaking from experience, Garcia expanded ...

"This just goes back to a couple years of just watching this guy and seeing him at the podium, but yet what he’s doing on the field does not translate to being that guy."

One of the panelists brought up Joe Namath -- who would rock fur coats and other swaggy items. Garcia responded to that too.

"When you predict you’re going to win a Super Bowl and you go out and do it, wear whatever the hell you want."

Garcia has been taking some heat on social media for the comments -- our favorite clap back is this one ...

Sen. Chuck Schumer Let Voters Rock Candidate Tees ... But Guns at Polls Are a 'Very Bad Idea!!!'

NOT RIGHT
TMZ.com

Sen. Chuck Schumer is weighing in on an odd fact about most polling places in America -- where you cannot wear clothing with a candidate's face or name, but CAN carry a firearm.

The Senate Minority Leader was heading to his ride Thursday on Capitol Hill when we asked him about the rule banning voters from wearing t-shirts or caps hyping their candidate when they go to cast their vote.

In theory, it's about not coercing others to vote for your candidate ... but when we asked Sen. Schumer he seems to think t-shirts are harmless when it comes to the election process.

On the other voter intimidation hand ... there are guns. You might be surprised to know it's perfectly legal to bring your legally registered firearm to the polls. According to the L.A. Times, only a dozen states have banned guns where you vote.

We raised that with Schumer too, and again ... he answered quickly, but much differently from the t-shirt question.

If you're curious ... California, Florida, Arizona and Georgia are among the states that have outlawed guns at voting sites.

In Michigan, an open-carry state, they've enacted a temporary ban on firearms at polling places. Remember, we've already seen citizens armed to the teeth this year in Michigan's Capitol during protests ... not to mention the foiled plot to kidnap Gov. Meg Whitmer.

Even if you do live in an open-carry state it's not a guarantee guns are okay when you cast your ballot ... especially if you're voting somewhere like a school.

As they say, check your local laws.

Joe Exotic Carole's Boxer Beef With 'Casket Baskin' Briefs

Joe Exotic's still managing to piss off Carole Baskin even from behind bars ... she's got beef over her old nemesis' new underwear line.

Here's the deal ... Joe's selling limited-edition "Casket Baskin Briefs" as part of the men's underwear line of his "REVENGE" fashion collection with Odaingerous streetwear ... but Carole's not feeling it.

Carole's legal team fired off a cease and desist letter to Joe and the folks at Odaingerous, obtained by TMZ, claiming Joe and the brand have no right to make money off her name.

She's threatening legal action if Odaingerous doesn't pull the merch. Carole is also demanding a full accounting of any sales they've made off merch featuring or referring to her name or likeness.

As we first told you ... Joe's underwear line is selling like hotcakes, and the top seller is the 'Casket Baskin' boxer briefs, which are going for $29 a pop. So, there could be a lot of money at stake here.

You had to know it was only a matter of time before Carole pounced.

Rich the Kid Sued Fashion Nova Claims ... You Gho$ted Us!!!

Rich the Kid promised to promote Fashion Nova and mention the company in one of his tracks, but the clothing line says he took their money and ran ... according to a lawsuit.

Fashion Nova claims it struck a deal with Rich back in October 2018 for the rapper to exclusively promote the brand on social media, post pictures with its hashtags, and give the brand a shout-out in a song.

But, according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Rich went ghost after getting a $100k advance. Fashion Nova says RTK was supposed to perform the contracted duties between October 2018 and December 2018, but to this day he's yet to come through ... much less reimburse the company for that fat advance.

As a result ... Fashion Nova claims it's suffered $2.1 million in damages and is suing the rapper for breaching his contract and making false promises.

We've reached out to Rich the Kid for comment, so far no word back.

Classic Movie Memorabilia Joker's Fedora, Obi-Wan's Saber ... Hollywood Auction Could Haul in $6 Mil!!!

Some of the big screen's most iconic props from the past 40 years are going up for grabs ... but some will cost as much as a small indie film's budget.

The world-famous Prop Store -- which houses an incredible collection of movie memorabilia -- will hold its annual live auction in early December ... and the props are expected to fetch $5.6 MILLION or more.

Though more than 900 items will be on the block, it's the big-ticket stuff that should really rake in the cash ... like Obi-Wan Kenobi's Hero Lightsaber from 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,' which Ewan McGregor wielded. Prop House expects that to sell for up to $155,000.

Then there's the more eccentric stuff, like the Joker's purple fedora from "Batman" -- worn by Jack Nicholson -- expected to go between $26-38k ... or the mechanical alien from 1979's sci-fi classic "Alien," expected to fetch $52-78k.

Want more? How about Maverick's bomber jacket from "Top Gun" -- worn by Tom Cruise -- or Marty McFly's futuristic jacket from "Back to the Future Part II" donned by Michael J. Fox? Both are expected to sell for $15-21k.

Other notable props include the boots Julia Roberts wore in "Pretty Woman," Brad Pitt's red leather jacket from "Fight Club," and the necktie of another Joker -- Heath Ledger -- from "The Dark Knight."

Of course, there's a whole lot more. Prop Store’s Unique Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction goes down for 2 days on December 1-2 ... registration is open now.

Colin Kaepernick Game-Worn Gloves Hit Auction Block ... Bloodied & Signed

You're looking at a pair of Colin Kaepernick's game-worn, blood-stained, and signed football gloves ... rocked by the star QB during the 49ers 2014 season.

Now, the rare piece of memorabilia can be yours ... 'cause Kap's gloves are up for auction -- and half of the proceeds are going to CK's "Know Your Rights Campaign."

Kaepernick -- who was 27-years-old at the time -- had one of his best seasons as a pro-signal-caller in 2014 ... racking up 3,369 passing yards and throwing 19 TDs.

It's unclear exactly which game Kap wore the gloves ... but the QB signed a letter of authenticity assuring the future buyer that they're 100% legit.

The Nike gloves -- currently on the block at Goldin Auctions -- had a starting bid of $200 ... but with 16 bids, the price has already soared past $650.

The auction doesn't end until early November.

This isn't the first time we've seen valuable Kaepernick items up for auction ... a 1-of-a-kind 2011 Topps Platinum Rookie Patch Autograph Red Refractor card recently sold for over $20k!

Crazy Getaway Alleged Forever 21 Shoplifter Leaps Off Ledge ... Flees with Merch!!!

An alleged shoplifter turned daredevil -- while making an apparent getaway with armfuls of merchandise, he intentionally plummeted from the ledge of a parking structure!!!

Ya gotta see the video ... the guy's hanging off the ledge and trying to shimmy around the structure -- while weighed down by allegedly stolen clothing -- when he suddenly decides to let go and fall a few stories.

You can see some of the items still had security tags on them, and even though a security guard thought he had him cornered -- this guy had a different idea. Watch the fall ... even though he landed in bushes, it's hardly a soft landing.

Still, the suspect who had allegedly just knocked off a Forever 21, not only survived, but managed to get up and start running away with his loot!!!

It's unclear if store security or law enforcement ever nabbed him. Guess ya gotta risk it to get the biscuit!!!

Nipsey Hussle Estate Has Legal Beef with Crips Co. ... Sues Over 'Marathon' TM

Nipsey Hussle's estate is taking a Crips company to court ... the late rapper's relatives are suing over his famous slogan.

Nipsey's brother, Samiel Asghedom, just filed suit against Crips LLC -- you read that right, the gang's gone corporate -- over the rights to Hussle's "The Marathon Continues" slogan.

According to the new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the estate claims the Crips organization filed a couple trademarks for the phrase last year -- one for various services and another for clothing -- despite Hussle's family owning several 'Marathon' trademarks of their own related to Nip's well-known clothing store.

It's pretty shocking ... the estate claims the Crips organization filed a trademark application less than 2 months after Nipsey was murdered outside his Marathon Clothing Store.

As we first reported ... Nipsey's fam grew frustrated with the Crips org this summer, fearing something shady was going on with the trademarks ... and Crips LLC claimed it would abandon its applications.

Instead, the Crips org has continued using the trademarks on merch, according to the lawsuit, so the estate is looking to put a stop to it. The estate is seeking monetary damages and a judgment directing the company to destroy any merch the Crips org has made with the trademarks.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler Suffocates Legs In Super Tight Pants ... What's the Deal, Bro?!

How did Walker Buehler fit into those super tight pants?!!?

Seriously -- the Dodgers pitcher's pants were so tight during Monday's playoff game against the Braves, it was trending on social media!!

Was it a fashion statement? Did someone misplace your usual pants? Was it uncomfortable? Growth spurt? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!

The problem ... the Dodgers ended up losing the game 5 to 1 and Walker was in a pretty bad mood afterward.

So, when a reporter asked Walker for a tight-pants explanation -- the pitcher shut the guy down and ended his press conference!

"Not the time or place Michael," 26-year-old Walker said while shaking his head condescendingly.

Sure, tough question to answer after a heartbreaking loss -- but those pants were skinny as hell!!

In fact, reporters were so desperate for answers -- they even asked Braves starting pitcher Max Fried if he had any insight!

Sadly, he did not.

As for his performance, Buehler pitched his face off despite some almost-certain circulation issues ... striking out 7 and allowing just 3 hits in the loss.

Kanye West Forget Me, God Will Save America!!! Moves to Lock Down Rights

Kanye West appears to have one final trick up his sleeve in the last-minute blitz of his presidential campaign ... let go, and let God.

Ye just filed legal docs to lock up the rights to "God Save America" -- which he wants to slap on shirts, sweaters and hoodies in what seems to be a final-ditch effort to push his message that was front-and-center in his 1st campaign ad ... bringing faith back to politics.

Unclear if this is a campaign slogan -- like Barack Obama's famous HOPE or Trump's Make America Great Again -- but it sure reads like one. The phrase also feels like a play on "God Bless America" ... both patriotic, but kinda sanctimonious too with "Save" swapped in.

10/12/20
HITTIN' THE AIRWAVES

Kanye filed for the trademark last week, which lines up closely with the release of his debut campaign ad ... something that just hit the ether Monday, 3 weeks before voters hit the polls on Nov. 3. Some people feel this ad -- and maybe now this new catchphrase he wants to lock up -- is too little, too late. That, or maybe just in time ... depends on who you ask.

Anyway, if Ye gets approval on this ... get ready to see some new merch -- probably priced at a high selling point 😅.

Viral 'Dreams' Skateboarder I'm a Halloween Costume Now!!!

Nathan Apodaca -- the Fleetwood Mac "Dreams" skateboarder -- is looking to ride the good vibes to another big payday ... he's turning his viral moment into a Halloween costume!!!

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Nathan will be hawking a costume of himself and it's going up for sale Tuesday night on his website.

We're told the getup includes a gray hoodie that says "Steady Vibin'," black shorts, a pair of knee-high white socks, a mustache and a temporary feather tattoo. We're told they'll retail for $87.99.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

People who want to fulfill their dreams and go full Nathan can add a little more to the look ... our sources say the costume will also include an option for an Ocean Spray coupon, with a link to Walmart that comes with a discount code for Nathan's favorite drink.

But wait, there's more ... we're told there's a second add-on for a skateboard.

Yeah, this costume is a whole vibe!!!

'Dreams' Skateboarder I've Got Beef with Streetwear Brand

Nathan Apodaca -- AKA the Fleetwood Mac "Dreams" skateboarder -- is putting on his legal face ... he wants a streetwear company to stop using his Doggface to sell merch.

Here's the deal ... Culture Kings is hawking a "Dreams Vintage T-Shirt" with the viral star's face on it for $36.95 ... but Nathan isn't feeling the good vibes with this merch, and says he's owed a piece of the pie.

Nathan's lawyer -- yep, he's got one now -- Jeffrey R. Klein of Fisher & Wolfe LLP, fired off a takedown notice, obtained by TMZ. It says Nathan owns the rights to the photograph on the shirt and claims Culture Kings had no right to make money off of it.

He's threatening a lawsuit if Culture Kings doesn't pull the shirt.

As you know ... Nathan's got a merch line of his own, and his personally designed line of Doggface clothing is selling like crazy after launching with UpMerch.com.

Bottom line ... don't let Nathan's easy-going persona fool you!!!

North West Sticks It to Photogs in the U.K. ... Tagging Along w/ Dad

Kanye West is having himself a take-your-daughter-to-London weekend -- which is proving his little girl takes after her pops ... namely, that she experiences a slip of the tongue at times.

Ye and North are across the pond right now, where they're doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that. On Friday, they attended Kim's SKIMS launch -- sans mama bear -- and come Saturday ... they were hitting up a fashion show in town and grabbing a bite in between.

That's where North let the paparazzi know how she felt about them hounding 'em -- shortly after lunching at a posh sushi spot, she flashed her tongue at a photog snapping pics from across the street. Dad saw the act, and playfully covered up her mouth with his hand.

It made for a sweet father-daughter moment -- which is great to see considering Ye's been having a bit of a rocky presidential season these past few months. Despite that, he hasn't lost sight of the end goal next month ... in fact, he and NW were both rocking "Vote Kanye" gear while they were out there hitting the town. So, clearly ... his heart's still in this race.

SHOWIN' UP FOR MOM

Time will tell if voters are with him ... but in the meantime, at least he's got his own flesh and blood firmly in his corner. Tongue out and all 😝

Lindsey Vonn Auctioning Ski Suits For Charity 'Most Prized Possessions'

Lindsey Vonn is parting ways with her "most prized possessions" from her career ... by auctioning off her iconic ski speed suits ... and it's all for charity!!

The retired skiing superstar's annual fundraiser was put on hold due to COVID-19 ... but that couldn't stop the folks at the Lindsey Vonn Foundation from helping out her cause, so she opened up her closet to raise money instead.

"My jackets, helmets and WINNING RACE SUITS that I never wanted to part ways with will help support young girls and women through our scholarship program for educational and stem programs," Vonn said.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Among the suits include her epic "Captain America" suit, which was made for the U.S. Olympic team in 2017 ... the white and rainbow suit from her 54th World Cup win in 2012 ... and her U.S. Ski team jacket from 2016-2017.

The goal is to raise $200k for the LVF ... which will help provide resources for the youth.

Bidding for the first round of suits ends soon ... good luck!!

Kanye West Forget the Campaign ... Buy My Campaign Merch!!!

Kanye West is in the home stretch of his Presidential campaign, and he's laser-focused ... on making money off a pricey line of 2020 Vision merch.

Ye unveiled a collection that included $60 hats and $160 hoodies Wednesday night while the legit VP candidates were debating. The items included messages like, "Vote Kanye" and "God Save America."

Now, he's not completely ignoring his actual campaign -- Ye also listed a brief summary of his Presidential Platform.

Among other things, Kanye says he wants to restore prayer in classrooms, reduce household and student loan debt, work on equality in the criminal justice system and take care of the environment.

He does not go into detail about how he'd accomplish those goals ... but that's typical for politicians.

What's odd is the guy who claims he's really running for President hasn't made a single public campaign appearance since South Carolina back in July, when he cried while talking about abortion.

On the other hand, Kanye introduced a section on his website for supporters to donate in margins of as little as $20 to the maximum of $2800.
