Ruth Bader Ginsburg Trainer Does Push-Ups Before Casket

ONE FINAL SET
C-SPAN

Ruth Bader Ginsburg's longtime trainer said goodbye to the late Supreme Court Justice with an ode to their notorious workouts ... doing push-ups in front of her casket.

Bryant Johnson dropped down and gave RBG 3 push-ups as he paid his respects before her casket Friday, which is lying in state in the U.S. Capitol.

It was a powerful moment ... and Bryant said farewell by doing the exercise in a full suit, though he made it look easy. It's not.

As you know ... Ruth was famous for her rigorous workout routine, which helped keep her working on SCOTUS until she was 87. RBG even invited Stephen Colbert to D.C. to show him how she kept fit in the gym, and Bryant was right by her side during the 'Late Show' segment.

Ruth passed away last Friday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, and her family is having a private burial next week at Arlington National Cemetery.

Spanish Triathlon Runner Allows Competitor to Beat Him

TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP
@GoodNewsCorres1 / Twitter

It's undeniably good sportsmanship -- a triathlon runner stopped running and let a competitor beat him --  but in the world of sports, is it too much?

British athlete James Teagle was oh-so-close to placing third in the 2020 Santander Triathlon in Spain. Thing is ... about 100 yards before reaching the finish line, Teagle became confused and ran the wrong way, toward the cheering crowd.

Enter Spanish triathlete Diego Mentrida, who had been behind Teagle for much of the race.  Mentrida passed Teagle, but before reaching the finish line, he suddenly stopped and let Teagle -- who regained his bearings -- pass him to place third.

After the race, Mentrida said, "He deserved it. This is something my parents and my club taught me since I was a child. My view is it should be a normal thing to do."

The winner of the race, Javier Gomez Noya, called Mentrida's move "the best in history."

The organizers of the race decided to give Mentrida an honorary third place and he ended up getting 3rd place prize money -- $355.

Good guys honorarily finish 3rd.

The Rock Goes 'Black Adam' On Gate During Power Outage ... Rock Smash!!!

Whaddaya do when the power is out, you have to get to work and your electric-powered gate won't open??

If you're Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, you channel your inner 'Black Adam,' rip that MFer right off the brick wall and slam it to the ground!!!

Seriously!!!

Johnson -- who was recently cast to play the super-strong DC Comic villain -- gave the play-by-play of what he's dubbing "not my finest hour" after a storm knocked his power out on Friday.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

"I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out - but this time it wouldn’t," Rock said.

Oh no!!

"Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn’t have 45min to wait."

Double oh no!!

"By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day."

So ... in true 'Black Adam' fashion, Johnson used the strength of Amon to rip the damn thing down!!

"I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself," Johnson said.

"Ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass."

Success!!!

"My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, 'in disbelief and equally scared' as to how I ripped it off"

Sure as hell seems like DC got the right guy to play 'Black Adam!!'

"Not my finest hour, but a man’s gotta go to work."

The Rock - 1  Gate - 0

Kaia Gerber Working Out with Jacob Elordi... Looking Pretty Bae-ish

Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi keep sending signs they're a thing, and the latest is a tandem workout session ... in a gym. Relax.

The 19-year-old model and the "Euphoria" star went to the gym as a pair Wednesday in New York City, walking the streets in lockstep and adding more fuel to the dating rumors fire.

Kaia and Jacob have been linked together in recent weeks and now they're officially partners in fitness, at the very least.

Before getting closer and closer with Jacob, Kaia dated Pete Davidson -- and Jacob's been linked to his "Euphoria" co-star, Zendaya. They were reportedly dating back in February, but have since split.

No matter their relationship status, Kaia and Jacob better take extra care at their workout ... Jillian Michaels just warned folks about the dangers of going back to public gyms.

At least they're wearing masks. Smart kids.

Carole Baskin I Got My Moves from YouTube ... Get Ready 'DWTS'!!!

Carole Baskin studied hard, and cheaply, before "Dancing With the Stars" ... picking up her ballroom basics by watching video tutorials online.

Sources close to Carole tell TMZ ... she immediately turned to YouTube for help after finding out she was going to be on the upcoming season of 'DWTS' -- and she started with the biggies: salsa, cha-cha and the Venezuelan waltz.

We're told she also enlisted the help of a cool cat ... or kitten -- one of her Big Cat Rescue members teaches dance, and gave Carole some tips.

PURRFECT PAIR

Let's be real, she needs all the help she can get ... other than her infamous dance clip submission for the Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande music video, we're told Carole has zero dance experience.

Our sources say Carole also signed up for a virtual training app in June, with the music-based training helping her get used to being on tempo. Turns out that's important for dancing.

Carole's looking slim at 'DWTS' rehearsals ... our sources say she lost 20 lbs since shooting 'Tiger King' and is down to 165.

We're told Carole has been on a vegan diet and only eats 2 meals a day. She's also riding her bike 10 miles a day, 7 days a week, and doing a lot of squats, lunges and leaps ... and seeing results.

All that health and fitness might help Carole feel like an L.A. local. She's moved to LaLa Land temporarily for 'DWTS.' Her husband, Howard, and daughter, Jamie, are staying home in Tampa to tend to the big cat sanctuary.

Tiffany Haddish I Got COVID-19 ... Breaking It Down With Fauci

Tiffany Haddish is revealing she tested positive for the coronavirus, and she's opening up about her experiences with testing and learning her diagnosis.

Tiffany revealed her diagnosis in a video posted on her YouTube page this week, rehashing her experience with the virus with Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The actress and comedian says she contracted the virus about three months ago, after working on a movie where someone else came down with COVID-19. She says her first test came back negative, but she got tested again when someone else she knew tested positive, and found out she was positive too.

Tiffany says she did not have any symptoms, which is kinda scary in its own right, and says she quarantined with her dogs and taught herself how to do the splits.

It's pretty interesting ... Tiffany says she had the antibodies for the virus months ago, but another recent test revealed she no longer has the antibodies. She says she's been tested 12 times because she's working on different projects.

Dr. Fauci offers some helpful reminders on how to stay safe ... he says people should wear masks, practice social distancing, and boost the immune system with a healthy lifestyle, such as getting good sleep and exercising.

Trump Supporter Insane Confrontation Over Running Track

This video shows the level of tension that we have come to know as 2020, as a Trump supporter goes nuts on a Black guy who dared to stand in his lane on a running track.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

It appears the track is somewhere in Maryland. The white guy is apoplectic because the black guy was standing and exercising in the lane he was using.

It could almost be an episode right out of "Seinfeld" ... a fight over nothing. There are dueling cellphones at work as the groups' jawbones back and forth. No racial epithets are hurled during the verbal confrontation, but it seems the white guy thinks he's being set up to look racist.

Check out the white girl in the video. She's just hanging out in one of the lanes, and the guy isn't objecting to her presence. The girl asks why it's okay for her to stand in a lane but not the guy ... and the black guy's friends say that's exactly what's up.

It appears the white guy has used the track for years, and seems to feel some entitlement to use the lanes as he sees fit. He could have just walked or ran around the guy who was standing on the track, but that wasn't in his playbook.

In the end, the guy walks away voicing his hearty approval for Donald Trump.

The Rock I Got COVID-19 ... So Did My Wife and Kids

OVERCOMIN' COVID-19

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just shared some sobering family news ... he tested positive for the coronavirus, along with everyone else in his immediate family.

The Rock just announced their positive COVID-19 diagnosis, saying the entire ordeal came as a shock and has been the most challenging thing he's ever been through.

Rock says he, Lauren and their 2 young girls, Tiana and Jasmine are on the other side of the virus and have recovered. He says his children didn't have bad symptoms and were able to bounce back to normal.

Dwayne says his fam's commitment to health and wellness boosted their immune systems, and he believes that's what helped pull them through.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

He also says his ordeal is a cautionary tale, because the family contracted the virus from close family friends. He makes the point that just because you love and trust people, doesn't mean they can't unknowingly expose you to the virus.

Watch the video ... his bottom line is don't let your guard down for a second, and stay disciplined when it comes to quarantining, testing and wearing masks.

Gregg Sulkin Flexing His Makeshift Gym ... Where the Grass is Greener

Gregg Sulkin's looking pretty hulkin' these days ... and it helps his gym's wherever he parks his shredded bod.

Gregg hit up a local park in L.A. Monday for a socially-distanced workout. The actor brought the essentials with him ... his face mask and these incredible Bowflex adjustable dumbbells that have no doubt helped his arms get absolutely JACKED.

Gregg spent about an hour working out ... busting out some bicep curls, bodyweight squats and some push-ups. Unlike some people, dude's been making the best out of a terrible situation here, working out in makeshift gyms ... and the park usually seems to be his place of choice.

Remember ... back in May, we saw Gregg busting out another COVID-style workout with a kettlebell and resistance bands. There was also video that showed him and his entire gym essentials. It's pretty tough to get any of those items right now, 'cause they seem to be sold out everywhere. But, that's clearly not a problem for Gregg.

Arizona Wildfire Jogger Tries to Put Out Fire with Tennis Shoes!!!

Hard to figure out ... is this more futile or dangerous?

A dude named Trevor Murphy was trying to create a fire break in the middle of the raging wildfires in Phoenix ... with his tennis shoes!

Check it out ... Trevor was out on his morning run. He's training for the 100-mile Ultra Marathon in October and runs 10 to 20 miles a day.

He came across a fire started by a lightning strike and tried to keep the fire from spreading across the hiking trail. He didn't have a hoe, didn't have a shovel, but he had some kicks.

As the weatherman from the CBS affiliate in Phoenix watched in shock on the air, Trevor was kickin' up dirt, licking the flames with his shoes.

He didn't do much to subdue the flames, and the soles of his shoes melted. To repeat the words of the weatherman ... don't try this at home.

WWE's Vince McMahon Demo'd 10-Foot Platform Jump to Show Gronk How It's Done!

It was long-rumored that 74-year-old Vince McMahon personally jumped off a 10-foot platform before WrestleMania 36 to ease Rob Gronkowski's fears ...

Turns out, IT'S TRUE -- AND THE WHOLE THING WAS CAPTURED ON VIDEO!!!

The whole incident was captured by "WWE 24: WrestleMania: The Show Must Go On" [h/t ProWrestlingSheet] -- which shows everything that happened behind WWE's biggest event of the year.

Remember, the event was taped on March 25 and 26 -- and aired on April 5 and 6 -- featuring Gronk serving as the "host" of the 2-day PPV event.

One of the big 'Mania moments featured Gronk jumping from the platform -- but before that happened, Vince McMahon personally walked the NFL star through the stunt.

Again, VINCE IS 74 YEARS OLD AND THREW HIMSELF OFF A PLATFORM!!!

No sweat for Vince! Gronk noted that the stunt was more like a "trust fall" with spotters.

In the end, Gronk executed his jump perfectly -- winning the WWE 24/7 title in the process!!

A bunch of WWE stars weighed in on Vince's role in the Gronk stunt -- and to say they were impressed is an understatement!

Jay-Z & Jack Dorsey Power Walking ... Moguls Chill in Hamptons

Jay-Z and Jack Dorsey met up for what could be dubbed a Multi-Millionaire Man March ... but it looks more like a casual stroll.

The entertainment mogul and the Twitter co-founder were out for a walk together Thursday morning in the Hamptons with a few other dudes in tow. Based on their chill attire ... a passerby wouldn't know they're a couple of the most rich and powerful men in the world.

Jay was rocking some Puma athletic gear while Jack sported a St. Louis Cardinals cap to go with his shaggy beard. Like we said ... super cazh.

It's unclear why they're hanging out, but it might have something to do with Dorsey's $10 million donation, back in May, to the Reform Alliance ... which Jay co-founded with Meek Mill and Michael Rubin.

Of course, both guys have also been huge donors the past several months to 2 uber important causes -- battling the coronavirus and racism.

So, with this duo joining forces -- and bank accounts -- there's no limit to what they can do. Then again ... they might just be getting in their steps for the day.

Boxer Otto Wallin I Smashed COVID Will Smash Travis Kauffman, Too

BACK ON THE GRIND
TMZSports.com

Heavyweight boxer Otto Wallin -- the man who took Tyson Fury to the brink in 2019 -- says he's fully recovered from his battle with COVID and can't wait to fight again on Saturday.

Remember, Wallin is the guy who bloodied Fury badly during their Sept. 2019 bout -- opening 2 huge gashes on the champ's face. He ultimately lost by unanimous decision, but gained a ton of respect in the boxing world.

Wallin later contracted COVID-19 in March -- but tells TMZ Sports he beat the virus pretty quickly and got back to training hard in a matter of weeks.

"I was out for maybe a week and a half, 2 weeks when I had it," Wallin says ... "But then we started training. Took it slow because we didn't know if it would affect me but we haven't noticed anything and we stepped it up from there."

"Now we've had a few months with good training. I feel like I've improved since the Fury fight so hopefully, that will come out."

Wallin steps back into the ring on Saturday to fight Travis Kauffman -- and another impressive performance could put him back in the mix for a rematch with Fury ... or a shot at other top fighters like Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua.

"I already showed Fury I'm very good ... I'm not too far off from those guys."

Kauffman ain't exactly rolling over -- he's been talking a bunch of trash too.

"If I don’t beat Otto Wallin, I’m retiring," Kauffman told BoxingScene.com.

"And, here’s why: I have a lot more experience and I have a lot more ability than Otto Wallin has. His claim to fame is truly losing to Tyson Fury."

Fighting words!!!

Powerlifting Champ Fractures Both Knees, Snaps Quads ... In Horrifying 800-Lb Squat Attempt

A Russian powerlifting champ fractured both his knees and snapped both his quads in an 800-plus-pound squat attempt gone horrifically wrong ... and the video is TERRIFYING.

The awful scene all went down when decorated weightlifter Alexander Sedykh stepped up to the bar at a World Raw Powerlifting Federation event near Moscow this past weekend.

Sedykh -- the event's champ just a year ago -- loaded up 400 KG (roughly 880 pounds) on the bar ... and when he went to squat it, things took an awful turn.

WARNING: THIS IS GRUESOME.

In the video, you can see Sedykh's legs wobble ... before they eventually give out with a loud cracking sound.

Immediately, Sedykh is in serious pain ... and after he was rushed to the hospital, he reportedly required hours of surgery to fix his broken legs and quadriceps muscles.

"The main thing is that I must lie motionless in bed for two months,” Sedykh reportedly said of the injuries. “Then I'll be taught how to walk again."

He added, "It’ll take time to recuperate" and "I've had my quadriceps re-sewn and my knees put back together.”

Simon Cowell Breaks Back on E-Bike ... 'AGT' Judges Respond

UPDATE

3:07 PM PT -- Looks like the rest of the 'AGT' judges are sending their well-wishes to their leader. Sofia Vergara posted a photo of her Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel gesturing to Simon's empty chair, while wearing face masks.

UPDATE

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

UPDATE

She captioned the photo, "We miss our boss!! Come back fast @simoncowell!!🚑 🚑"

UPDATE

2:11 PM PT -- Cowell's nasty bike accident turned into a 6-hour long surgery ... but what is still unknown is how it will affect is work. "America's Got Talent" is set to resume live shows on August 11.

Simon Cowell didn't get far on his new electric bike, he crashed and broke his back.

Simon was tooling around his Malibu estate Saturday on his new bike, apparently trying to get the hang of it, when he fell to the ground and seriously injured himself.

Cowell was taken to a nearby hospital and will undergo surgery.

In a very British statement, his rep said, "Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family."

FYI ... some of these electric bikes can go as fast as 28 MPH at full throttle, and pedaling makes it go even faster. If the bike goes down ... well, it's trouble ahead.
